Our buying advice for Amaras Logia Madrecuishe
Flavour notes
The aroma opens with floral and earthy notes, joined by hints of herbs and a clear mineral edge. It feels grounded and natural, with the agave character sitting at the centre. On the palate, herbal and grassy flavours come forward, carried by a soft texture. Subtle cocoa notes add a darker nuance while leaving the earthy, mineral side intact.
The finish is lingering, with traces of damp earth and a gentle spiced sweetness that stays quietly present.

Product info about Amaras Logia Madrecuishe
Amaras Logia Madrecuishe is a Mexican mezcal with a strong sense of place and craft. It is made from Madrecuishe agave, Agave Karwinskii, grown for 15 to 25 years in the Tlacolula region of Oaxaca. That long growing cycle says a great deal about the spirit before it even reaches the still: this is mezcal rooted in patience, origin and the character of the plant itself. Its production keeps close to traditional methods. Natural fermentation takes place in pinewood vats, followed by distillation in clay pots, and the mezcal is bottled at 43% ABV. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of mezcal that speaks less through sheer power and more through detail: earth, herbs, minerality and the distinctive voice of Madrecuishe agave.
The seed to glass philosophy adds another layer, reflecting a sustainable approach that respects the environment. With 2060 bottles produced, Amaras Logia Madrecuishe is a limited release for drinkers who want to explore mezcal through agave variety, region and artisanal production rather than through a one-dimensional idea of the category.

Amaras works for its products together with local producers from, among others, San Juan del Río, Mitla, Matatlán, Ejutla, San Baltazar Guelavila, and Tlacolula.
