Château Beychevelle 2019 is the Grand Vin of the Saint-Julien estate on Bordeaux's Left Bank. As a Fourth Growth from the 1855 classification, Beychevelle carries serious Bordeaux pedigree, yet the 2019 vintage is particularly engaging for the way it brings together concentration, freshness and fine tannic depth.The blend is 49% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Around 55% of the harvest was selected for the Grand Vin, drawn from the estate's best plots. In the modern cellar, parcel-by-parcel vinification supports that selective approach, followed by 18 months in oak barriques, 60% of them new.
The growing season brought a dry, sunny summer, later balanced by September rain and cooler nights. According to the estate, this helped preserve freshness in healthy, concentrated grapes. That context matters in the glass: the wine is described as having ripe tannins, depth and a fresh line rather than sheer weight.

Château Beychevelle is a historic winery from the prestigious Bordeaux region in France, specifically located in the Saint-Julien appellation in the Médoc. The estate has a rich history dating back to the 16th century and has, over the centuries, grown into a name that sounds familiar to many wine enthusiasts. Beychevelle is officially classified as a Quatrième Grand Cru Classé from the famous 1855 classification, which marks a permanent place at the top of Bordeaux wines.
