Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2015 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, one of the classic Bordeaux villages on the left bank. The wine comes from the estate's own vineyards and reflects the Saint-Julien style through a blend led by cabernet sauvignon, with merlot and a small share of petit verdot.The 2015 vintage at the estate was shaped by a dry, mild spring and a harvest managed parcel by parcel. Grapes were hand-picked and sorted, then vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats using traditional Bordeaux methods. Maturation lasted 13 months in barriques, 20% of them new, with the oak described in the tasting notes as well integrated.
What gives this bottle its charm is the way it brings the Château Lagrange signature into a second wine: structured and recognisably Saint-Julien, yet not presented as the grand vin itself. In the Bordeaux selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as a bottle where origin, vintage and estate precision all matter.
