Chateau Lagrange 2019

Château Lagrange 2019 is the grand vin of this Saint-Julien estate in the Médoc, a dry red Bordeaux from a property classified as a Troisième Grand Cru Classé in 1855. The 2019 blend is particularly Cabernet-driven: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, with 18% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. The château describes this as a record proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon for Lagrange, and that detail says a great deal about the wine's direction: freshness, structure and length take centre stage.
The growing season began with a cold, wet spring, followed by a dry, hot summer with abundant sunshine. Harvest was the longest the estate had experienced up to that point, with a deliberate pause between Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to allow the Cabernet to develop further (…)Chateau Lagrange 2020

Chateau Lagrange 2020

Château Lagrange 2020 is the red grand vin of the Saint-Julien estate in the Médoc. As a Troisième Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification, it carries serious Bordeaux pedigree, yet the interest here lies very much in the detail of the vintage. Only 38% of the production was selected for the first wine, with a cabernet sauvignon-led blend supported by merlot and a small proportion of petit verdot.
The grapes come from the château's continuous vineyard holding in Saint-Julien, set across two north-south ridges with clay, limestone, pebbles and gravel. The estate describes 2020 as a year of contrasts and its smallest crop in thirty years. Small berries with skins rich in polyphenols gave the wine its firm architecture, while a four-day (…)Chateau Lagrange 2020 Magnum (1,5l) Incl. Box

Château Lagrange 2020 Magnum is the Grand Vin of Château Lagrange from Saint-Julien in Bordeaux. In this 1.5-litre format, the wine has a natural sense of occasion: a serious red Bordeaux with the depth to be cellared, yet also a bottle made for a generous table.
The 2020 blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon at 74%, supported by 24% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. That Cabernet backbone is central to the wine's identity, bringing structure, freshness and length, while the château describes the Merlot in this vintage as opulent. The fruit comes from the estate's Saint-Julien vineyards, planted on gravelly and stony soils with clay and limestone beneath. Only 38% of the harvest was selected for the Grand Vin, and 2020 was the estate's smallest crop in thirty (…)Chateau Lagrange 2021

Chateau Lagrange 2021

Château Lagrange 2021 is the grand vin of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, Bordeaux. As a Troisième Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification, it comes with a clear sense of place and pedigree. The estate's red vineyard lies in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, on north-south gravel ridges with clay and limestone beneath the surface.
What makes the 2021 vintage especially noteworthy is the blend: 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. That Cabernet share is particularly high for Château Lagrange. The grapes came from vines averaging 45 years old, and the selection was meticulous, with hand harvesting in small crates, sorting of whole bunches and a second berry-by-berry optical selection. Vinification was carried out parcel by (…)Chateau Lagrange 2021 Demi (37,5cl)

The 2021 vintage is strongly shaped by Cabernet Sauvignon. The blend contains 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside 14% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot, an unusually high Cabernet proportion for the estate according to the supplied information. That gives this Saint-Julien its firm structure, freshness and precise, rather classical profile.

Chateau Lagrange 2021 Magnum (1,5l)

Château Lagrange 2021 Magnum is the Grand Vin of this classified Saint-Julien estate, bottled here in the 1.5 litre format. The magnum is not a separate cuvée; it is the same red Bordeaux in a larger bottle, with the kind of presence that suits a table where a wine is opened, shared and followed over time.
The 2021 vintage is marked by an unusually high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend: 84%, alongside 14% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. That cabernet emphasis brings the wine close to the classical side of Saint-Julien, with structure, freshness and firm but refined tannins. The grapes come from Château Lagrange's red vineyard area, set on gravel ridges with a clay-limestone subsoil.
There is a strong sense of precision behind this (…)Lagrange Parcellaire 6x75cl

Lagrange Parcellaire 6x75cl
On request only
Lagrange Parcellaire 6x75cl is a red wine wooden case from Saint-Julien built around a very engaging idea: tasting Château Lagrange's Grand Vin alongside a single-parcel interpretation from Les Hauts Bois. The case contains six 75 cl bottles, pairing Château Lagrange 2016, 2019 and 2020 with Les Hauts Bois from the same three vintages.
The heart of the set is Cabernet Sauvignon. In the Grand Vin, it appears as part of the château's blend with Merlot and Petit Verdot. In Les Hauts Bois, it is shown on its own, as 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from parcel N89, planted in 1985 on the estate's southern gravel slope.
Château Lagrange is a Troisième Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Julien, and this collection makes its parcel-by-parcel (…)Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2015

Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2015

Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2015 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, one of the classic Bordeaux villages on the left bank. The wine comes from the estate's own vineyards and reflects the Saint-Julien style through a blend led by cabernet sauvignon, with merlot and a small share of petit verdot.
The 2015 vintage at the estate was shaped by a dry, mild spring and a harvest managed parcel by parcel. Grapes were hand-picked and sorted, then vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats using traditional Bordeaux methods. Maturation lasted 13 months in barriques, 20% of them new, with the oak described in the tasting notes as well integrated.
What gives this bottle its charm is the way it brings the Château Lagrange signature (…)Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2019

Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2019

Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2019 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, a Bordeaux estate with a clear Médoc identity. Created in 1983 to allow a stricter selection for the grand vin, Les Fiefs still comes from the château's Saint-Julien vineyards and carries the same sense of origin, though in a more approachable form.
The 2019 blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a small proportion of Petit Verdot. The grapes come from Château Lagrange's gravel ridges, with clay and limestone beneath the surface. The vintage itself was marked by contrast: a cool, wet spring followed by a hot, dry and sunny summer. Château Lagrange notes an exceptionally long harvest period and very small berries, details that help explain the wine's (…)Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2019 Magnum (1,5l)

Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2019 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, Bordeaux. It carries the imprint of the estate while being made with a more approachable character than the grand vin, built from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a small share of Petit Verdot.
The 2019 vintage was shaped by contrast: a cold, wet spring followed by a dry, hot and very sunny summer. Château Lagrange deliberately waited between the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon harvests to reach the desired phenolic ripeness. The grapes were hand-picked, carefully sorted and vinified by parcel in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.
After blending, the wine spent 13 months in barriques, 20% of them new. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this magnum stands out as a (…)Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2020

Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2020

Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2020 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, made on the same estate as the grand vin Château Lagrange. Its appeal lies in that connection: it carries the identity of a serious Bordeaux property, while being intended to show a more approachable side than the first wine.
The 2020 blend brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot from Château Lagrange's vineyards within Saint-Julien. The estate's gravel ridges over clay-limestone soils, manual harvesting and careful double sorting give useful context to the wine's measured, structured style.
After 13 months in barriques, including a proportion of new oak, the wine shows the darker-fruited, fresh and finely tannic profile associated with (…)Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2020 Magnum (1,5l)

Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2020 Magnum (1,5l)

Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2020 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, offered here in a 1.5-litre magnum. It comes from the château's own vineyards in the Médoc, set on two gravel rises with clay and limestone below the surface and pebbles and gravel above.
The 2020 vintage at Lagrange had a distinctive course. After heavy rainfall and a mild winter, budbreak came early, and that early start carried through to harvest. The grapes were hand-picked in small crates, then sorted carefully, first by whole bunch and then berry by berry. Each lot was vinified according to variety, vine age, terroir and ripeness, which gives this second wine a notably considered feel.
The blend is 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot and 9% Petit Verdot. (…)Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2021

Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2021
In stock
Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2021 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, Médoc. That context matters: it comes from the same estate environment as the grand vin, but represents a more approachable selection. The label was introduced in 1983 as part of the château's stricter selection process, and this 2021 vintage shows that role very clearly.
The blend is 52% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petit Verdot, from vines averaging around 30 years of age. The grapes were hand-picked, sorted carefully, then vinified by parcel. After blending in January, the wine matured for 13 months in barriques, 20% of them new oak. The result is not a wine built around oak impact, but one where fruit, freshness and structure remain the main conversation.

Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2021 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, made within the same estate setting as the grand vin but with a more immediately approachable expression. It comes from the château's younger vines, with an average age of around 30 years, and reflects the stricter selection introduced to refine the quality of Château Lagrange as a whole.
The 2021 vintage shows Saint-Julien in a fresher, more classical style. Merlot, cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot come together here with roundness, structure and lift rather than weight. The grapes were hand-harvested and carefully sorted, with parcel-by-parcel vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine then spent 13 months in barriques, 20% of them new.

Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2022 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, Médoc. It comes from the same estate context as the grand vin, but is shaped to show the Lagrange style in a more immediate and approachable register, while still keeping the structure expected from this part of Bordeaux.
The 2022 blend is Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, sourced from vines with an average age of around 30 years. The red-wine vineyard of the estate lies on gravel ridges with a clay-limestone subsoil, a setting that supports the firm yet polished Saint-Julien character described for this wine.
The vintage was notably warm in Bordeaux, though the estate points to cool nights as an important factor in preserving freshness. Grapes were (…)Les Fiefs De Lagrange 2022 Magnum (1,5l)

Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2022 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, a property known as a Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification. It is made within the same estate context as the grand vin, but with a selection aimed at a more approachable expression of the château's Saint-Julien character. In magnum, the 1.5 litre bottle also brings a natural sense of occasion to the table.
The 2022 vintage in Bordeaux was notably warm. Small, ripe and concentrated grapes were balanced by cooler nights that helped preserve freshness.
