Flavour notes
The wine shows a pale yellow colour with green reflections. The aroma is intense once swirled, moving from white fruit into riper notes of pineapple, guava, peach and apricot. Citrus remains an important thread, with grapefruit, lemon, lime and mandarin, alongside floral hints of honeysuckle and blossom.On the palate it starts supple and fruit-driven, then becomes broader, richer and fleshier. The texture is described as creamy to slightly oily, with enough freshness and grip to keep the ripe fruit in focus. Sage, mint, dried herbs and nutmeg add a savoury edge, joined by nuances of lanolin, paraffin wax, salinity, straw, almond and hazelnut. The finish is dry, clean and concentrated.

La Clarte De Haut Brion White 2018 is a dry white wine from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. It is described as the shared second white wine of Château Haut-Brion Blanc and Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc, made from grapes grown on the Haut-Brion terroir. That connection gives the wine a clear sense of origin without turning it into a mere shadow of the grands vins.The 2018 growing season moved from a stormy spring into a warm, dry summer, followed by sunny harvest conditions in September. The grapes were picked ripe and healthy. Sémillon leads the blend at 79.2%, supported by 20.8% sauvignon blanc, while 58% new barriques point to a white Bordeaux with substance and structure rather than a purely light, immediate style.
