Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2018 is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, produced by the estate in Léognan. This is the château's white grand vin, not the second wine, and the 2018 vintage is built on a classic blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Sémillon. That pairing is central to the wine: Sauvignon Blanc brings aromatic lift and freshness, while Sémillon adds body, texture and breadth.The wine spent 18 months in barrique, yet the oak does not define it on its own. In the tasting descriptions, it appears more as a subtle frame: light toast, roasted hazelnut and a gentle creamy note around citrus, tropical fruit and saline-mineral accents. It is a white Bordeaux with structure and ageing potential, while still offering plenty of energy and detail today.

Château de Fieuzal is a well-known wine producer located in the appellation of Pessac-Léognan, one of the prestigious wine regions in the Bordeaux region of France. The wine estate has a long history, with roots going back to the 16th century, and is named after the Fieuzal family, who owned the estate for several centuries. The vineyards cover about 39 hectares for red grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, while for white wine about 10 hectares are planted with Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Château de Fieuzal is known for both its red and its white wines, with the blends being typical for the region and often aged for a long time in oak barrels. The estate has been part of the Graves Grands Crus Classés classification since 1959. Thanks to its location on gravel-rich soils, the wines often have an elegant structure and a distinctive character.
