Chateau De Fieuzal Blanc 2018

Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2018 is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, produced by the estate in Léognan. This is the château's white grand vin, not the second wine, and the 2018 vintage is built on a classic blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Sémillon. That pairing is central to the wine: Sauvignon Blanc brings aromatic lift and freshness, while Sémillon adds body, texture and breadth.
The wine spent 18 months in barrique, yet the oak does not define it on its own. In the tasting descriptions, it appears more as a subtle frame: light toast, roasted hazelnut and a gentle creamy note around citrus, tropical fruit and saline-mineral accents. It is a white Bordeaux with structure and ageing potential, while still offering plenty of (…)Chateau De Fieuzal Blanc 2019

Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2019 is a dry white Pessac-Léognan from Bordeaux, made as the estate's white grand vin. The 2019 blend brings together 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Sémillon, a combination that gives the wine aromatic lift while also adding texture and depth.
The white vineyards at Fieuzal are planted on gravel and sandy soils, with clay and limestone in the subsoil. The grapes for this vintage were hand harvested, and the wine spent 12 months in French oak barrels. That oak ageing gives the wine structure, yet the tasting notes focus above all on fruit, freshness, mineral tension and length.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a white Bordeaux with a very gastronomic feel: dry, refined and substantial enough to develop further (…)Chateau De Fieuzal Blanc 2020

Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2020 is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, made at Château de Fieuzal in Léognan. This is the estate's white grand vin, a wine with its own identity alongside the château's red wine.
The 2020 blend is 75% sauvignon blanc and 25% sémillon. Sauvignon blanc gives the wine its aromatic lift and freshness, while sémillon brings structure and texture. The fruit comes from the estate's white vineyards, planted on the gravel-rich soils associated with Graves and Pessac-Léognan, with some sandier plots for the white grapes. Twelve months in barriques add extra depth and shape.

Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2020 Demi is the dry white grand vin of Château de Fieuzal from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. Demi refers to the 37.5 cl half-bottle format, not to a separate cuvée. It is a very useful size when you want to open a serious white Bordeaux without committing to a full bottle.
The 2020 blend is led by sauvignon blanc, given as 75%, with 25% sémillon. That explains much of the wine's personality: freshness and drive from the sauvignon blanc, with the sémillon bringing extra texture and breadth. The wine comes from the estate in Léognan, within the gravel-rich setting of Pessac-Léognan.
The growing season was early, shaped by a mild winter, a warm and humid spring and a dry summer. For (…)Chateau De Fieuzal Blanc 2020 Magnum (1,5l)

Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2020 in magnum is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan with a strong sense of place. It is the estate's principal white wine, made from 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon. The Sauvignon Blanc gives lift, freshness and aromatic definition, while the Sémillon brings a rounder structure and added texture.
The white vineyard area covers around 10 hectares on gravel and sand soils. Château de Fieuzal works with many individual parcels, following them separately before the final blend is made. That parcel-by-parcel approach suits the character of Pessac-Léognan well: dry, precise white wine with freshness, body and a mineral edge.
The 2020 vintage was notably early for the estate's white grapes. (…)Chateau De Fieuzal Blanc 2021

Chateau De Fieuzal Blanc 2021 is the dry white grand vin of Château de Fieuzal in Pessac-Léognan. It is built on a blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Sémillon, with Sauvignon Blanc bringing drive and tension, while Sémillon adds texture and a sense of balance.
The 2021 vintage came from a cool, demanding growing season, with spring frost, a wet start and a harvest that required careful timing. That background suits the style of the wine: precise, fresh and mineral, with a firm line of acidity and a saline finish.
Vinification took place in stainless steel and French oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation, followed by 12 months of barrel ageing. The result is a white Bordeaux that keeps its freshness clearly in focus, while (…)Chateau De Fieuzal Blanc 2021 Demi (37,5cl)

Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2021 in magnum is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, representing the estate's white grand vin. The blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Sémillon is central to its identity: Sauvignon Blanc provides the firm, vibrant backbone, while Sémillon softens the edges, adding texture and supporting the wine's ageing potential.
The 2021 growing season was demanding. Frost, a wet spring and vigorous vineyard growth required close attention, and the harvest was delayed in search of optimal ripeness. Against that background, the available tasting notes point to a wine with precision, freshness, tension and length, carried by a mineral, saline finish.

The blend is built around Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, with Sauvignon Blanc slightly leading. Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2022 Magnum is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, offered here in the generous 1.5 litre format. The estate is based in Léognan and is known as a Cru Classé de Graves, with the white wine representing a smaller and more limited part of the château's production.
The 2022 vintage brings together sauvignon blanc and sémillon from the estate's white-wine vineyards, planted on fine soils with a gravel cover. Harvest took place early, from 18 to 23 August, after a growing season marked by warmth, exceptional dryness from June onwards and very low disease pressure. Ageing in barriques, including a proportion of new oak, adds shape and depth while keeping the wine firmly in the dry, fresh white Bordeaux (…)Chateau De Fieuzal Red 2020

The fruit comes from the Château de Fieuzal estate in Léognan, where the vineyards are planted on gravel, clay and sand. Château de Fieuzal Rouge 2020 is a red Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan in the Graves, and the estate's red Grand Vin. It carries the Cru Classé de Graves classification and is offered here in magnum format, a 1.5-litre bottle that feels very much at home on a serious dining table.
The 2020 vintage is built around merlot, supported by cabernet sauvignon and a small proportion of petit verdot. That composition gives the wine a recognisable Bordeaux voice: dark fruit, firm structure, spice and a graphite-like thread. The grapes come from Léognan, on fine gravelly Graves soils, with separate vinification by grape variety after manual harvesting and selection.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this magnum as a strong choice among structured (…)Chateau De Fieuzal Red 2021

Château de Fieuzal Rouge 2021 is the red grand vin from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux, carrying the Grand Cru Classé de Graves classification for red wine. The 2021 vintage was not an easy one, with spring frost, wet conditions and a late harvest making careful vineyard selection especially important.
That more demanding year shaped the style of the wine. Rather than a broad, very ripe Bordeaux, this vintage is described through freshness, tension and refinement. The blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot reflects the estate's different vineyard parcels, with gravel and sandy soils linked by the château to freshness and mineral drive.
Maturation takes place for around 12 months in French oak barrels, giving the wine (…)Chateau De Fieuzal Red 2021 Demi (37,5cl)

Château de Fieuzal Rouge 2021 Demi is the red grand vin of Château de Fieuzal from Pessac-Léognan, bottled here in the 37.5 cl half-bottle format. Demi refers to the size of the bottle, not to a different cuvée. It is the same dry red Bordeaux from France's Left Bank, carrying the Cru Classé de Graves classification for red wine.
The 2021 blend is based on merlot, cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot. It was a demanding vintage, marked by spring frost, wetter conditions and a later harvest, and the wine reflects that more precise side of Bordeaux: fresh, focused and structured, with emphasis on tension and tannin rather than overt ripeness or weight.
Hand harvesting, careful grape selection and parcel-by-parcel vinification (…)Chateau De Fieuzal Rouge 2022

Château de Fieuzal Rouge 2022 is the estate's grand vin rouge from Pessac-Léognan, carrying the Grand Cru Classé de Graves classification. Its setting in Léognan matters here: gravelly, stony soils with good drainage and heat retention form an important part of the wine's identity.
The 2022 blend brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a small proportion of Petit Verdot. The grapes were harvested by variety at different moments, then the wine spent 12 months in French oak barrels, 35% of them new. The vintage itself was shaped by a dry, mild winter, early budbreak, warm periods from mid-May and exceptional dryness from June onwards.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Bordeaux we place in front of customers looking (…)Chateau De Fieuzal Rouge 2022 Demi (37,5cl)

Château de Fieuzal Rouge 2022 in magnum is a red Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, produced by a Graves estate classified as Grand Cru Classé de Graves. In this 1.5 litre format, the wine immediately feels more ceremonial: a bottle made for sharing at the table, but also one that suits a wine with time ahead of it.
The 2022 blend brings together cabernet sauvignon, merlot and a small proportion of petit verdot.
