Chateau De Fieuzal Blanc 2021 is the dry white grand vin of Château de Fieuzal in Pessac-Léognan. It is built on a blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Sémillon, with Sauvignon Blanc bringing drive and tension, while Sémillon adds texture and a sense of balance.The 2021 vintage came from a cool, demanding growing season, with spring frost, a wet start and a harvest that required careful timing. That background suits the style of the wine: precise, fresh and mineral, with a firm line of acidity and a saline finish.
Vinification took place in stainless steel and French oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation, followed by 12 months of barrel ageing. The result is a white Bordeaux that keeps its freshness clearly in focus, while gaining extra structure and depth from the Sémillon and élevage.

Château de Fieuzal is a well-known wine producer located in the appellation of Pessac-Léognan, one of the prestigious wine regions in the Bordeaux region of France. The wine estate has a long history, with roots going back to the 16th century, and is named after the Fieuzal family, who owned the estate for several centuries. The vineyards cover about 39 hectares for red grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, while for white wine about 10 hectares are planted with Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Château de Fieuzal is known for both its red and its white wines, with the blends being typical for the region and often aged for a long time in oak barrels. The estate has been part of the Graves Grands Crus Classés classification since 1959. Thanks to its location on gravel-rich soils, the wines often have an elegant structure and a distinctive character.
