Château Bellevue Mondotte 2019 is a red Bordeaux from Saint-Émilion, produced from a notably small estate just southeast of the village. With around 2.5 hectares of vineyard on the clay-limestone plateau, it has the feel of a very focused Right Bank wine rather than a broad, generic Bordeaux.Merlot forms the core of the blend, supported by cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. The site is shaped by its southern exposure, slope, natural drainage and clay-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, fermentation starts spontaneously in wooden vats, and the wine then spends around 24 months in new oak barrels, including time on fine lees.

Ch Bellevue Mondotte is a French wine brand originating from Saint-Émilion, located in the Bordeaux region. The vineyard is known as one of the smaller grand crus in this area and covers only a few hectares. Ch Bellevue Mondotte is produced on limestone-rich clay soil, which is characteristic of the terroir of Saint-Émilion. The planting consists largely of merlot, often supplemented by a small percentage of cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon, which contributes to the complex structure of the wine.
