Moulin de Duhart 2020 is the second wine of Château Duhart-Milon in Pauillac, made from the same estate vineyard area as the grand vin. It carries the Left Bank identity clearly, with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon shaping a red Bordeaux that has structure, but with a more supple and approachable feel than the château's main wine.The 2020 blend is 53% Merlot and 47% Cabernet Sauvignon. Maturation lasted 12 months in two-year-old French oak barrels, giving the wine an integrated oak note rather than a dominant new-oak signature. The vintage also marked the first use of the estate's new gravity-fed reception in the cellar, intended to bring intact berries into the vats.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Pauillac we like to present when someone wants the seriousness of the appellation without moving straight into the more reserved style of a young grand vin. It has recognised critical support, but what matters most in the glass is its combination of fruit, freshness and fine tannic grip.
It sits comfortably alongside dishes with structure: grilled or roasted beef, lamb, slow-cooked meat, flavourful poultry, mushroom dishes and mature or semi-hard cheeses. A short airing or decant can give the young fruit and spice more room to unfold.

Château Duhart-Milon is a renowned winery from the Bordeaux region in France, more specifically situated in the prestigious Pauillac appellation. The estate is part of the famous 1855 classification and at that time received the status of Quatrième Grand Cru Classé, a distinction awarded only to a select number of châteaux in the Médoc.
