Chateau Lilian Ladouys 2020 is a red Saint-Estèphe from the Médoc in Bordeaux, and the grand vin of Château Lilian Ladouys. The estate is classified as Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, and this vintage is built mainly on merlot and cabernet sauvignon, with small proportions of petit verdot and cabernet franc.The 2020 growing season was warm, yet winter and spring rain had left enough water reserves in the soils to help the vines through the dry summer. According to the château, merlot gave the wine depth, while cabernet sauvignon produced small, concentrated berries. In the cellar, extraction was handled carefully to keep the tannic strength of the fruit in balance.

Château Lilian Ladouys is a French winery from Bordeaux, located in the appellation of Saint-Estèphe in the wine region of Médoc. The history of the estate dates back to the 16th century, although it only received its current name in the 20th century. The chateau and vineyards are situated on gravel and clay soils, typical for the region and favorable for the production of characteristic red wines. The main grape varieties used are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
