Zeni Valpolicella Superiore Vigne Alte 2021 is a red wine from Veneto, produced by Cantina F.lli Zeni with grapes from the Valpolicella Classica area in the hills north of Verona. It is built around Corvina and Rondinella, with bunches selected by hand once they have reached optimal ripeness.Vigne Alte sits in a fuller, more structured register of Valpolicella. The wine is made with traditional fermentation on the skins, followed by 6 to 8 days of maceration, and then matures for around one year in oak barrels, depending on the vintage. That ageing gives the wine extra roundness and length while keeping the dry red style that defines it.
