Château Le Boscq 2016 is a red Bordeaux from Saint-Estèphe in the Médoc, rooted in the classic Left Bank tradition. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot form the basis of the wine, grown on a raised site of deep Garonne gravel with clay, close to the Gironde.The appeal of this vintage lies in its combination of dark fruit, freshness and firm Saint-Estèphe structure. The grapes are carefully selected and vinified in separate lots in small temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Maturation takes place in barriques, with a proportion of new oak, before the final blend is made.
