Product info about Karuizawa The Fuji B5

Karuizawa The Fuji B5 is a(n) whisky from Japan by the brand Karuizawa. It falls within the whisky group under the category Single Malt. Karuizawa The Fuji B5 is regarded by us as a Collector's Item, which makes many a collector's heart beat that little bit faster. It is one of the many references you can currently buy online at Drankenshop Broekmans.

IMPORTANT: This whisky from Karuizawa will never return once it is sold out. If you want to be sure that this Karuizawa will shine in your bar cabinet, don't wait too long to order!

This whisky is matured in Oak Cask barrels. It is a version of 70 cl and has an alcohol content of 59,6%.

The whisky was bottled at cask strength. What does cask strength mean? A cask strength whisky is not diluted with water before bottling, but goes straight from the cask into the bottle, thus retaining the alcohol content during/after cask maturation. One of the advantages of this cask strength Karuizawa The Fuji B5 is that, when drinking it, you can decide how strong you like your whisky by diluting it, or not, yourself with a little water according to your preference, instead of the producer having already done this for you. However, the higher alcohol content can sometimes suppress the subtlety of the whisky.

We have compiled a flavour profile for this Karuizawa The Fuji B5 whisky. Of course, taste is very personal, so these parameters mainly serve as a guide to help you figure out what you like so you can discover new things.

The spicy, and also fruity flavours are quite noticeable, but are not dominant. They help determine the flavour, profile and character of this drink but are less decisive than any strong notes present. There are noticeable woody hints, but these flavours are subtle. They add extra character and depth to this drink, without really pushing it in any particular direction.

Based on this profile, you can conclude that this whisky has a fairly pronounced character.

Finally, we have listed some fun facts and answers to frequently asked questions for you about this Karuizawa The Fuji B5 whisky:

- The age reflects how long the whisky has aged in the barrel, simply put, the difference between the distillation date and the bottling date. In the case of blends, the age shown is that of the youngest product in the blend.

About KARUIZAWA
