Alberelli Di Giodo Bianco 2022 is a white wine from Terre Siciliane, made from Carricante grown in the Etna area. The name Alberelli refers to the traditional bush-trained vines, an important clue to the wine's origin: small high-altitude plots on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, rooted in volcanic black pumice soils.Giodo is the wine project of Carlo Ferrini, and this Bianco is built around clarity of place rather than oak influence. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by ageing on the lees, with no wood maturation. That keeps the wine precise and fresh, while the lees bring extra texture. The Carricante grape, the altitude and the volcanic setting come together in a dry white wine with tension, salinity and a clearly mineral feel.
