Château Beychevelle 2021 is the Grand Vin of this Saint-Julien estate on Bordeaux's Left Bank, a 4th Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification. This demi bottle contains 37.5 cl, making it a practical way to open a recognised Bordeaux name without committing to a full bottle.The 2021 vintage has a distinctly classical feel. A cool, wet growing season was followed by sunnier conditions in August and September, helping Cabernet Sauvignon to ripen particularly well. That is reflected in the blend: 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Ageing with 70% new barriques adds structure and polish while keeping the wine firmly within its Saint-Julien style.

Château Beychevelle is a historic winery from the prestigious Bordeaux region in France, specifically located in the Saint-Julien appellation in the Médoc. The estate has a rich history dating back to the 16th century and has, over the centuries, grown into a name that sounds familiar to many wine enthusiasts. Beychevelle is officially classified as a Quatrième Grand Cru Classé from the famous 1855 classification, which marks a permanent place at the top of Bordeaux wines. The vineyards cover approximately 90 hectares and are mainly planted with classic grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.
