Château Croix de Labrie 2021 Demi brings the estate's first wine into a 37.5 cl half bottle, a practical size for a smaller table while still offering the full identity of a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. Merlot forms the heart of the blend, supported by small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.The fruit comes from plots including Badon, at the foot of the côte Pavie, and higher parcels in Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes. Clay-limestone soils play an important role in the wine's personality, giving density, freshness and the chalky structure that appears throughout the tasting descriptions. The vineyards are organically worked, with several sources also referring to biodynamically grown grapes.
