Château Grimont 2020 is a red Bordeaux from Cadillac, on the right bank of the Garonne. The estate is based near Quinsac, south-east of Bordeaux, and this vintage is built around Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon adding structure and firmness. It is very much in the style of a ripe, dry, structured Bordeaux blend.The Cuvée Prestige is made with a clear selection approach. The fruit comes from chosen parcels on well-exposed slopes, with clay and gravel soils playing an important role in the identity of the wine. Vinification by separate lots helps preserve the expression of the different parcels and of the 2020 vintage.
