L'Aventure Cuvée Estate 2021 is a red wine from Paso Robles, produced from estate-grown fruit from L'Aventure Vineyard in the Willow Creek District on the western side of the region. It is the estate's flagship cuvée, built around a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, bringing together Rhône and Bordeaux varieties in a distinctly Paso Robles way.This 2021 vintage has a special place in the L'Aventure story. It marks the wine's 20th anniversary, presented with a dark blue anniversary label, and from the 2022 vintage onward the cuvée was renamed Estate Reserve. That makes the 2021 a meaningful vintage within the development of the estate as well as a serious wine in its own right.
Nineteen months in French oak, mostly new, give the wine an important frame, but the tasting notes point just as strongly to depth of fruit, floral detail, herbs, graphite and firm yet polished structure. Low vineyard yields add to the sense of concentration and ageing potential.

About L'AVENTURE
L'Aventure is a wine brand from the United States with roots in the Paso Robles region, Californiâ. The estate was founded in 1998 by the French winemaker Stephan Asseo, who, after years of experience in Bordeaux, decided to realize his own vision of winemaking in Californiâ. The vineyards are located in the western part of Paso Robles, an area known for its calcareous soils and distinctive Mediterranean climate. L'Aventure is especially known for its blends of Bordeaux and Rhône grape varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Petit Verdot. By combining traditional French techniques with the possibilities of Californian terroir, the winery is able to produce powerful and concentrated wines that are often characterized by depth and structure.
