Château Bellevue 2022 Demi is the half-bottle presentation of Château Bellevue 2022, not a separate cuvée. It is a red Saint-Émilion Grand Cru from France, produced by a Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint-Émilion. The 37.5 cl format gives it a very practical appeal when you want to open a serious Bordeaux without committing to a full bottle.The wine is made entirely from merlot, sourced from a contiguous vineyard of around 3 hectares on the slopes and plateau of Saint-Émilion. Clay-limestone soils, vines averaging about 40 years of age and a manual harvest in early September 2022 all point towards a wine built on depth, ripeness and a clear Right Bank identity.
Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats, followed by 16 to 20 months of ageing in oak barrels.
