Château Pavie Macquin 2022 Demi is the estate's grand vin in half-bottle format. The wine itself remains a dry red Saint-Émilion Grand Cru from a Premier Grand Cru Classé; the 37.5 cl size simply gives it a more intimate serving format. It is a thoughtful choice when you want to open a serious Bordeaux without committing to a full bottle.The wine comes from the clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion, around the Mondot hill and the Fongaban fault. The 2022 blend is led by merlot, supported by cabernet franc and a small amount of cabernet sauvignon.
