Ron Esclavo 4x20cl 80cl

Ron Esclavo 4x20cl is a gift pack built around discovery. Instead of one full-size bottle, it brings together four 20 cl bottles, making it an inviting format for tasting, sharing or giving to someone interested in rum from the Dominican Republic.
This is a molasses-based Esclavo rum, distilled in a multicolumn style and matured in bourbon casks. The character suggested here is led by fruit, sweetness and spice, with a lighter touch of wood in support. It is not presented as a vegetal style; the emphasis sits more on warmth, roundness and spiced fruit.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, sets like this are valued because they make exploration feel relaxed and approachable without losing the specialist character of the product. This Esclavo pack has found a steady (…)Planteray Black Cask 2025

Planteray Black Cask 2025
Not available for shipping
Planteray Black Cask 2025 is a limited edition rum built around Planteray's distinctive double maturation approach. The rum comes from two production sites mentioned in the supplied information: West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados and Trinidad Distillers Ltd. It is made from molasses, fermented for 3 to 4 days, then distilled using pot stills and column stills.
The cask journey is what gives this release its identity. It first matures for several years in a tropical climate in 200-litre bourbon casks, before travelling to France for further ageing in heavily toasted 350-litre Ferrand casks. That second maturation adds complexity, elegance and a subtle smoky touch, while supporting the rum's fruity, spiced and softly sweet side.

Ardent Rhum Vermeil stands out first of all through its Belgian origin. Rum is often linked with faraway places, yet this bottle brings the category closer to home, with a clear identity built around Ardent and the name Rhum Vermeil.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like spirits that give customers a slightly different angle on a familiar category. At 40% alcohol, this remains firmly within the recognisable world of rum, while its Belgian background gives it the point of distinction.
For anyone specifically looking to explore Belgian rum, Rhum Vermeil is best understood as a straightforward expression of origin and brand identity: Ardent, Belgium, rum, and a clean 40% presentation.

Dictador 1993 26y (Cadenhead's Single Cask)
On request only
Dictador 1993 26y is a rum built around maturity, cask individuality and scarcity. Distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2019, it spent 26 years maturing before Cadenhead released it as part of its Single Cask series.
This bottling comes from one bourbon barrel and was filled at cask strength, carrying a powerful 65.3% ABV. Rather than presenting a blended house style, it focuses on the voice of one particular cask. The production detail of pot still and column distillation adds another layer of interest to the release.
Only 282 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now available, this Dictador 1993 26y has a notably limited character within the Drankenshop Broekmans selection. It is a rum for drinkers who appreciate mature independent bottlings where (…)Rivière Du Mat Grande Reserve Incl. Box

Rivière Du Mat Grande Reserve takes its place in the world of rum with a clear sense of origin: it comes from Réunion Island and is made from sugar cane juice. That detail matters, because it places the cane itself at the heart of the rum's identity rather than treating it as a background note.
Its traditional column distillation and maturation in bourbon casks give the Grande Reserve a defined framework. The story here is not about excess; it is about a cane-juice rum shaped by a recognisable distilling style and a familiar cask influence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Rivière Du Mat Grande Reserve as a worthwhile introduction to rum from Réunion, especially for customers curious about sugar cane juice styles and bourbon cask (…)Duo Rum Spiced

Duo Rum Spiced

Brewdog Duo Rum Spiced carries the idea of United in Spirit in a very direct way: it brings Scottish distilling craft together with a share of authentic Caribbean rum. The Scottish side refers to a country shaped by six centuries of distilling history, while the Caribbean element is made by traditional methods from rich molasses under the tropical sun.
Rather than leaning on oak, this spiced rum is all about softness, fruit and warming spice. Pineapple, allspice and a subtle touch of lime give it an exotic lift, with a smooth, velvety feel that keeps the style approachable.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of spiced rum we like to introduce as a meeting point between two traditions: Scottish know-how and Caribbean rum character, bottled at 40% (…)Patridom XO Oloroso Tube Incl.

Patridom XO Oloroso brings together the smooth Dominican style of the Patridom range with the added depth of an Oloroso cask finish. The rum is made from locally grown sugar cane in the Dominican Republic, distilled in a multi-column still and matured in the country's tropical climate, giving it the polished and gentle foundation associated with the series.
Its second maturation is what gives this release its own identity. Selected Oloroso casks were used for an additional ageing period in the continental climate of warehouse 1423 in Denmark. That extra stage adds darker, more layered accents to the rum, with fruit and spice taking a more prominent role while the overall impression remains soft and sweet.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Patridom (…)Amrut Two Indies Rum

Amrut Two Indies Rum is an Indian molasses-based rum bottled at 42.8%. One of the most interesting points here is the combination of pot still and column distillation, bringing together two different approaches within the same rum.
It is matured in bourbon cask, giving it a wood-aged frame without making wood the dominant feature in the profile provided. The emphasis sits more on fruitiness and sweetness, with spice, wood and a light floral touch playing a supporting role.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for customers who want to explore an Indian style with a clear identity, where origin, distillation and maturation matter more than an age statement.
The profile points to a rum where fruitiness and sweetness are clearly present. (…)Port Mourant 10y So (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

Port Mourant 10y So is a molasses-based rum from Guyana, bottled by Elizabeth Yard as part of the with finishes series. Its identity is built around a wooden vat still distillation, a sherry cask finish and a natural cask strength bottling at 49.8%.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this stand out because they give a very direct sense of selection. This is a single cask rum, distilled on 31 August 2011 and aged for 10 years, with only 222 bottles produced. It feels focused rather than broadly composed: one cask, one finish, one limited release.
The sherry finish adds extra depth to a rum whose profile leans clearly towards fruit and spice, while the wood remains present without taking over. For anyone exploring Guyanese rum beyond the usual releases, (…)Plantation Sealander Mini

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a mini like this has a clear role: it gives customers the chance to get acquainted with the bottling without committing to a full-size bottle. That blend of origins and distillation styles is central to its personality.
The rum first matures in a tropical climate in ex-bourbon casks, then continues its refinement in Charente in used oak casks and large open vats. That finishing stage connects naturally with its Cognac Finish identity, adding depth while keeping the rum's powerful core intact.

Planteray Barbados 5y shows the approachable yet expressive side of Barbadian rum. It brings together pot still and column still rum from Stade's West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, a distillery founded in 1893 by George Stade.
The ageing story is central here. The rum first matures for three years in Barbados, close to the beach. The casks then travel by sea to France, where the journey itself forms part of what Planteray describes as dynamic maturation. A second ageing period in ex-Ferrand casks brings the total maturation to five years, adding roundness and structure.

Takamaka Kreol Cask Reserve Dark brings the character of the Seychelles into a dark rum with a distinctly island-minded style. Made from sugar cane juice and produced in a traditional column style, it has a profile built around fruit, spice and gentle depth rather than sheer heaviness.
