Patridom XO Oloroso Tube Incl.

Patridom XO Oloroso brings together the smooth Dominican style of the Patridom range with the added depth of an Oloroso cask finish. The rum is made from locally grown sugar cane in the Dominican Republic, distilled in a multi-column still and matured in the country's tropical climate, giving it the polished and gentle foundation associated with the series.
Its second maturation is what gives this release its own identity. Selected Oloroso casks were used for an additional ageing period in the continental climate of warehouse 1423 in Denmark. That extra stage adds darker, more layered accents to the rum, with fruit and spice taking a more prominent role while the overall impression remains soft and sweet.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Patridom (…)Port Mourant 10y So (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

Port Mourant 10y So (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)
In stock
Port Mourant 10y So is a molasses-based rum from Guyana, bottled by Elizabeth Yard as part of the with finishes series. Its identity is built around a wooden vat still distillation, a sherry cask finish and a natural cask strength bottling at 49.8%.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this stand out because they give a very direct sense of selection. This is a single cask rum, distilled on 31 August 2011 and aged for 10 years, with only 222 bottles produced. It feels focused rather than broadly composed: one cask, one finish, one limited release.
The sherry finish adds extra depth to a rum whose profile leans clearly towards fruit and spice, while the wood remains present without taking over. For anyone exploring Guyanese rum beyond the usual releases, (…)Planteray Navy Rum

Planteray Navy Rum

Planteray Navy Rum is built around the idea of a strong, old-style navy proof rum, bottled at 55.7%. Rather than focusing on a single island, it brings together rums from Barbados, Trinidad, Guyana and Jamaica, distilled in both column and pot stills. That blend of origins and distillation styles is central to its personality.
The rum first matures in a tropical climate in ex-bourbon casks, then continues its refinement in Charente in used oak casks and large open vats. That finishing stage connects naturally with its Cognac Finish identity, adding depth while keeping the rum's powerful core intact.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum with real presence: fruity, spiced and full-bodied, yet still composed enough to feel deliberate rather than simply (…)Planteray Barbados 5y (Planteray Blend)

Planteray Barbados 5y (Planteray Blend)

Planteray Barbados 5y shows the approachable yet expressive side of Barbadian rum. It brings together pot still and column still rum from Stade's West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, a distillery founded in 1893 by George Stade.
The ageing story is central here. The rum first matures for three years in Barbados, close to the beach. The casks then travel by sea to France, where the journey itself forms part of what Planteray describes as dynamic maturation. A second ageing period in ex-Ferrand casks brings the total maturation to five years, adding roundness and structure.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Barbados 5y is the kind of rum we like to introduce when someone is looking for fruit, softness and a touch of spice in a style that remains clear and easy (…)Takamaka Kreol Cask Reserve Dark

Takamaka Kreol Cask Reserve Dark

Takamaka Kreol Cask Reserve Dark brings the character of the Seychelles into a dark rum with a distinctly island-minded style. Made from sugar cane juice and produced in a traditional column style, it has a profile built around fruit, spice and gentle depth rather than sheer heaviness.
The blend combines that Seychellois identity with the richness of rum matured for 8 years in American oak casks. A light sugar addition of 20 g/l adds roundness and softness, supporting the rum's smoother side without taking away its aromatic depth.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Takamaka we like to present as flexible in the best sense: expressive enough to sip neat, yet rounded and flavourful enough for premium cocktails. At 40.3% ABV, it stays approachable (…)Flor De Cana 25y Incl. Box

Centenario 30y Edición Limitada is a Costa Rican rum built around the idea of time and continuity. It was created in 2011 to mark the 30th anniversary of Ron Centenario's limited editions, bringing together rums aged from 8 to 30 years.
Its maturation follows the solera system, with continuous and natural ageing in American white oak casks. That matters here, because the character is shaped less by a single age statement and more by the way different maturities are brought together in the final blend.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to introduce to customers looking for a mature, polished sipping style. Fruit, spice and gentle wood all have their place, giving the rum depth without making it feel heavy.

Malecon 21y Reserva Imperial is a Cuban molasses rum with ageing at the centre of its identity. The 21-year statement gives it a mature positioning, while the 40% strength keeps the style measured and approachable in the glass.
Its multicolumn distillation and bourbon cask maturation suggest a rum built around polish and structure rather than sheer weight. The supplied profile points to fruit and spice as the clearest elements, supported by lighter sweetness, subtle wood and a gentle floral touch.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of aged rum we would place in front of someone looking for a composed, mature Malecon with character, but without an overly heavy expression.

New Grove 5y is a molasses-based rum from Mauritius, aged for five years and bottled at 40%. What makes it appealing is the clarity of its identity: a Mauritian rum with a stated age, shaped by maturation but still centred around fruit and spice.
Its traditional column distillation and Limousin oak ageing point towards a style where the cask supports rather than dominates. In the rum selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits nicely for customers who want to explore Mauritius through a rum with some maturity and a defined profile.
As these are the last bottles, it also carries a slightly more limited feel within the range. A quiet but worthwhile bottle for anyone curious about New Grove and the rum style of Mauritius.

Cash Cane Extra Old is a molasses-based rum with one particularly defining detail: a Sherry Finish. Although the name carries the words Extra Old, there is no age statement here, so the focus is less on a number and more on the style of the rum itself.
The mixed origin and mixed distilling style give it a broad foundation, while the sherry finish points the character towards fruit and spice. At 40% alcohol, it keeps a composed strength, allowing the profile to remain approachable without stripping away its personality.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Cash Cane Extra Old as a rum for drinkers looking for a molasses rum with a little more depth than a very straightforward bottle, yet without moving into an overly heavy style. With only the last bottles (…)Haiti 2004 14y (Transcontinental Rum Line)

Haiti 2004 14y from Transcontinental Rum Line is a rum with a very specific frame: distilled in 2004, bottled in 2018 and matured for fourteen years. As a single cask release at cask strength, bottled at 63.1%, it keeps a direct and uncompromised feel.
The bourbon cask is part of the picture, but the real interest lies in the combination of Haitian origin, age and single-cask bottling. Rather than aiming for a repeated house style, this bottle represents one particular cask and one particular point in time.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for careful tasting rather than casual pouring. Its limited nature is underlined by the fact that these are the last bottles. The flavour profile points towards a clearly fruity and spiced character, with (…)El Dorado 15y + 2 Glasses

Distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2016, it spent 12 years maturing before receiving a wine finish. Only 488 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now remaining, it has the feel of a rum captured at a specific point in time. The appeal lies in the way the rum develops beyond its sweeter notes. The tasting profile points to dried fruit, caramel and honey, followed by spice and woody accents that carry into the finish. It feels rounded, but with enough depth to keep the glass interesting.

Traditional column distillation gives it a clear, direct feel, while the profile also shows gentle sweetness, a light woody note and a subtle floral accent. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for customers looking for a flavourful spiced rum with an island origin and an easy-to-understand aromatic direction.

That combination gives the rum an engaging foundation: one side can bring more weight and depth, while the other supports a cleaner, more direct style. Its origin is listed as mixed, so this is not presented as a rum tied to one single country of production.
Bourbon Barrel ageing adds a touch of wood, though the profile suggests that wood is not the main story here. The emphasis sits more clearly on spice and fruit, with a modest sweetness and a light floral accent in the background.

Its maturation in a Bourbon Barrel adds an important part of the story, while the 49.4% strength gives the bottle a serious presence. With only 57 bottles released, this is a rum where scarcity is not a marketing phrase but part of the factual identity of the product.

The rum brings together pot still and column still distillates, with the Cuban master blender's touch keeping the style polished and expressive. It is made from local sugar cane, hand-cut and processed into molasses in Lautoka. Pot still and column distillation are used, followed by local maturation in warm tropical conditions. The rum is then brought to France for a second maturation in ex-cognac casks from Maison Ferrand, a hallmark detail within the Planteray approach.
