Long Pond Lso 1998 23y (Rest & Be Thankful)
In stock
Long Pond LSO 1998 23y is a Jamaican molasses rum released under the Rest & Be Thankful label. It was distilled on 24 July 1998 and bottled on 1 March 2022, after 23 years of maturation, and it comes at its natural cask strength of 60.2%.
The appeal here lies in the very narrow focus of the release. This is rum from a single cask, distilled in a pot still and matured in American oak, with an outturn of just 162 bottles. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it gives a close look at one particular cask of Long Pond from 1998.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for exactly that sense of specificity: a limited Jamaican rum with age, strength and provenance clearly at the centre. With the last bottles now available, its small-scale (…)Worthy Park 2006 15y 55° Nectar

Worthy Park 2006 15y 55° Nectar is a Jamaican molasses rum with a very direct, cask-driven identity. Pot still distillation, 15 years of maturation and bottling at cask strength place the focus firmly on depth, structure and the individuality of the barrel.
Distilled in 2006 and bottled in August 2021, it comes from a single Bourbon Barrel. That single cask origin matters here: this is not a broad house style, but one specific cask captured after a long maturation. With only 217 bottles drawn and the last bottles now indicated, its availability is naturally limited.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Worthy Park is the kind of rum we would point out to someone looking for Jamaican pot still character in a more concentrated form. The supplied profile points (…)Caroni Paradise 1998 #2 (Velier) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!
Caroni Paradise 1998 #2 is a Trinidad molasses rum bottled by Velier, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2023. It comes from a single bourbon barrel and was released at cask strength, 56.3%, with only 230 bottles drawn from that one cask.
The interest here lies in the concentration of the release. This is not a broad, blended expression, but a very specific barrel selection with a clear sense of scarcity. As a collector's item and with the last bottles indicated, it occupies a special place among the more limited rums in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection.
Its profile is built around wood, spice and fruit, supported by lighter floral and vegetal notes. The data does not point toward a sweet style, so the emphasis is more on structure, cask influence and the (…)Riviere Du Mat Single Cask 2003 Incl. Box

Rivière Du Mat Single Cask 2003 is a rum from Réunion Island with a very focused identity. Made from sugar cane juice, distilled in a traditional column and drawn from a single bourbon cask, it gives the drinker a direct view of one particular maturation rather than a broader blended style.
The bourbon cask influence comes through in the way the profile leans towards wood, spice and fruit. It is not built around sweetness; the lighter floral and vegetal touches sit more quietly in the background, adding detail to the sugar cane juice character. At 46%, it has enough presence to carry that cask-driven style without making strength the main subject.

Mhoba 2020 Single Cask Bourbon Nectar is a South African rum made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a pot still. That already places it in a more distinctive corner of the rum world, with the raw material playing a central role in the identity of the spirit.
This release is all about focus and small-scale character. It was drawn from a single Bourbon Barrel and bottled at cask strength, 57.4%, with just 142 bottles produced. Rather than a broad house style, it presents one individual cask in a concentrated form.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that adds depth to a rum selection: South African origin, cane juice production, pot still distillation and single cask bottling come together in a rum with a clearly defined place of its (…)Hampden Lrok 2010

Hampden Lrok 2010 is a Jamaican molasses rum with a clear sense of origin and style. Distilled in 2010, aged for 11 years and made using pot still distillation, it presents itself as a rum with a defined identity rather than a broadly polished, anonymous bottling.
Its bourbon barrel maturation gives the rum a firm woody backbone, while fruit and spice remain clearly present. Sweetness is not the central theme here; the profile feels more driven by structure, cask influence and drier flavour elements, with a lighter floral and vegetal edge in the background.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are appreciated because they show rum as a serious spirit with provenance, age and maturation all playing a visible role. With only the last bottles remaining, (…)Port Mourant 2011 10y (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

Port Mourant 2011 10y by Elizabeth Yard is a molasses-based rum from Guyana, distilled in a pot still and bottled after 10 years. Its appeal lies in its focused nature: one cask, bottled at cask strength, with the identity of that individual cask left clearly in view.
At 53.56% alcohol, this is a rum with real presence. It belongs to the Elizabeth Yard with finishes series, although the exact finish is not specified in the available details. What stands out immediately is the scale of the release: only 100 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now indicated, it has become a notably limited find.

Neisson Empyreumatique Full Proof is a Martinique rum made from sugar cane juice, with a character that immediately feels distinctive. The name refers to the Greek empyreuma, evoking charcoal used to rekindle a fire, and that idea runs through the style of the cuvée: toasted, grilled aromas, without an exaggerated oak imprint.
Matured for eight years and bottled at natural strength, it brings concentration without losing freshness. The blend includes rum aged in cognac and bourbon casks, giving depth and structure, while fruity, floral and spicy accents keep the profile lively. It is not simply about strength; the appeal lies in the way intensity and finesse sit together.
