Renegade Single Farm Cuvee Nursery

In stock

Renegade Single Farm Cuvee Nursery is a Grenadian rum made from sugar cane juice, with its identity rooted in one specific place: Nursery Farm. The supplied information describes this farm as fertile and gently even in character, with a mix of sugar cane varieties shaping the basis of the cuvee.

The appeal here lies in the way Renegade connects land, cane and distilling craft. Pot still distillation and a strength of 46% give the rum presence, while the tasting notes point to a style that remains detailed, moving between oak, fruit, floral nuance and spice.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to present to customers who are curious about cane juice rum and want to taste a more origin-driven side of the category. With the last bottles now (…)

Renegade Etudes Old Bacolet

In stock

Renegade Etudes Old Bacolet is a sugar cane juice rum from Grenada's south coast, grown in an area sheltered from the strong Atlantic winds. The cane comes from land set between two small rivers, with rich alluvial soils and a high water table. That gives this rum a clear sense of origin: it is tied closely to one specific place rather than presented as a broad house style.

For this release, Renegade uses the fast-growing cane variety known as 'Lodger', harvested from Theo's field in the area called the Silk Cotton Tree. It is a detail worth noting, because it places the raw material at the heart of the story.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Old Bacolet as a rum for drinkers who are curious about cane, origin and distillation. Pot still distilled and bottled (…)

Australia 2007 13y (1423 Single Barrel Selection)

Very last one in stock!

Australia 2007 13y from 1423 Rum World Class is an Australian molasses rum with a very focused identity: distilled in 2007, matured for 13 years and bottled in February 2020 from a single bourbon barrel. It is a pot still rum, released at cask strength at 55%, keeping the presentation close to the individual cask.

Its limited nature is central to the appeal. Only 323 bottles were drawn from this single cask, and the remaining stock is now down to the last bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, a rum like this stands out because it is not a broad blended style, but a specific Australian cask release with a clear vintage and maturation story.

The flavour direction points more towards fruit and vegetal notes than pronounced sweetness. Light touches of wood, spice (…)

Bally Vo Pyramide Incl. Box

In stock

Bally Vo Pyramide from J. Bally is a Martinique rum rooted in sugar cane juice. That immediately places it in a drier, more cane-driven direction, away from a style built around sweetness and closer to vegetal freshness and subtle detail.

It is traditionally column distilled and matured in bourbon casks. The cask influence is not presented as heavy or dominant here; it sits alongside light touches of wood, spice, fruit, floral notes and vegetal character. At 45% alcohol, it has enough structure to carry those elements without turning the focus purely towards strength.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a thoughtful choice for anyone looking to explore Martinique rum through a bottle where origin, cane juice and restrained cask influence matter more than (…)

Barbados 2011 14y (Berry Bros Odyssey Range)

On request only

Berry Bros. & Rudd Barbados 2011 14y is an independent rum bottling from the Odyssey Range, sourced from Foursquare in Barbados. It was bottled as Cask #22 after 14 years of maturation, drawn at cask strength with an ABV of 60.2%.

The interest here lies in its very clear sense of origin and method. Made from molasses, distilled through a combination of pot and column stills, and matured in a bourbon barrel, it reflects the classical Barbados rum style described in the supplied information. Foursquare is presented as a fourth-generation family rum house led by Richard Seale, with a commitment to rum made without added sugar, colour or flavourings.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum that earns attention through detail rather than noise: one (…)

Renegade Single Farm Cuvee Lake Antoine

In stock

Renegade Single Farm Cuvee Lake Antoine is a Grenadian rum with a strong sense of place. It is built around sugar cane from the volcanic slopes near Lake Antoine, where the windy upper levels and the richer, water-fed lower ground each bring their own nuance to the cane.

The production story combines the weight of pot still distillation with the elegance of batch-column distillation, as described in the product information. Maturation in French and American oak adds structure without taking the focus away from the cane and the farm behind it.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to present to customers who are curious about origin and agricultural character in spirits. Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence to carry its flavours clearly, (…)

Vieux Vaval 2016 10y (La Maison & Velier) Incl. Box

In stock

Vieux Vaval 2016 10y is a Haitian rum made from sugar cane juice and bottled by Velier. That already sets the tone: this is a rum where the cane-based origin remains central, rather than a style built around a sweeter molasses-driven impression.

Distilled in 2016 on a pot still and bottled after 10 years at 54.6%, it comes from a single cask with a Caroni Finish. Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to explain carefully: it is not a broad blend, but a focused cask-driven release with a very specific maturation choice.

The available profile points toward a rum led by woody and vegetal elements, supported more lightly by spice, fruit and floral touches. Its interest lies less in sweetness and more in structure, (…)

Hampden 1753 Incl. Box

In stock

Hampden 1753 is a clear introduction to the distinctive world of Jamaican rum from Hampden Estate. Made from molasses, it is a pure Jamaican single rum shaped by long fermentation with wild yeasts and distillation in copper pot stills. That process gives the rum its classic ester profile and its unmistakably expressive personality.

It spends 3 years maturing tropically in ex-bourbon barrels and is bottled at 46%. That strength gives the rum enough structure to carry its aromatic style, while keeping it approachable as a first step into Hampden's flavour universe.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce when someone wants to understand what makes Hampden Estate so recognisable: vivid tropical fruit, spice, a floral lift and a (…)

Fiji 2009 12y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

On request only

Fiji 2009 12y from Daily Dram is a molasses-based rum with a very direct sense of origin and cask identity. Distilled in 2009 on a pot still and bottled in September 2021 after 12 years of ageing, it presents Fiji rum through a single, clearly defined release.

The appeal here lies in its focused nature. One bourbon barrel, bottled at cask strength at 64.6%, produced just 285 bottles. With the last bottles now indicated, this Daily Dram selection from The Nectar feels like a precise snapshot rather than a broad house style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of rum that speaks to drinkers who appreciate strength, individuality and a less sweet-driven profile. The flavour direction points towards spice, fruit and a pronounced vegetal side, with (…)

Fiji 2004 18y (1423 Single Barrel Selection)

In stock

Fiji 2004 18y from 1423 Rum World Class is the kind of rum where the details matter because they all point in the same direction: one vintage, one cask, one concentrated release. Distilled in 2004 and bottled in August 2022, this molasses rum spent 18 years in a Bourbon Barrel.

The small scale is part of its appeal. As a single cask bottling at cask strength, with only 210 bottles drawn, it represents a very specific slice of maturation rather than a broad house blend. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued for that directness: they let a single barrel do the talking.

Pot still style distillation and a strength of 68.3% give this rum a firm presence. Its profile is led by spice, supported by lighter notes in the fruity, woody, floral and (…)

Port Mourant 2011 10y (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

In stock

Port Mourant 2011 10y by Elizabeth Yard is a molasses rum from Guyana with a very specific sense of place and scale. Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2022, it is a 10-year-old single cask release rather than a broad, ongoing expression.

The details matter here because they all point in the same direction: pot still distillation, a wine finish and bottling at cask strength. At 53.53% ABV, the rum keeps close to the strength and personality of the individual cask, instead of being shaped into a softer standard bottling.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Elizabeth Yard releases like this are selected for customers who enjoy small-batch rum with a clear cask identity. Only 100 bottles were drawn from this cask, and with the last bottles now in focus, it is very much a (…)

Reimonenq 3y 2005

On request only

Reimonenq 3y 2005 is a Guadeloupe rum made from sugar cane juice, giving it a style where the raw material remains an important part of the identity. Traditional column distillation and three years in bourbon barrel bring the cask influence clearly into view, while leaving room for the lighter vegetal, fruity and floral sides of the rum.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone who wants to explore a cane juice rum with some ageing, but without moving into a heavily mature style. The three-year age keeps it relatively lively, while the bourbon barrel adds structure and a distinct woody tone.

It is also one of the last bottles of a Reimonenq release that has attracted steady interest. Bottled at 40%, it stays (…)

Trois Rivières 1999 Incl. Box

Trois Rivières 1999 is a Martinique rum built around sugar cane juice rather than molasses, giving the bottle a clear sense of origin and raw material. The 1999 vintage in the name is the first thing that sets the tone: this is a specific dated release from Trois Rivières, not a generic expression.

Traditional column distillation and maturation in bourbon barrels shape the framework. The profile points most clearly toward spice, with restrained wood influence and lighter floral, fruity and vegetal touches around it. At 42% ABV, it has enough structure to carry those elements without making strength the main subject.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would introduce to someone interested in Martinique, cane juice rum and (…)

Dillon Vo

In stock

Dillon Vo is a Martinique rum made from sugar cane juice, giving it a profile that stays close to the cane rather than leaning into a heavy molasses-driven style. Its centre of gravity is fruity, with lighter floral and vegetal touches adding freshness and definition.

Traditional column distillation gives the rum a clear, direct frame, while bourbon cask influence brings a measured layer of wood and spice. The cask does not appear to push the rum into an overly sweet direction; it supports the structure and leaves the fruit-led character in focus.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Dillon Vo as an approachable way to explore sugar cane juice rum from Martinique without losing the distinctive identity of the style. Bottled at 43%, it has enough strength to carry (…)

Long Pond 2005 Cambridge (Velier) Incl. Box

In stock

Long Pond 2005 Cambridge is a Jamaican molasses rum bottled by Velier and drawn from the Simon Thomson Cambridge Estate category, known here as STCE. Its ester level of 550 to 700 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol gives the rum a highly defined identity, with the expressive side of Long Pond very much at the centre.

Distilled in 2005 on a pot still, it spent 18 years maturing entirely in a tropical climate in bourbon barrels. That long maturation has not softened away its original force; instead, the early empyreumatic and medicinal elements have evolved into a broader aromatic register with exotic fruit, vanilla, powdery nuances and a retronasal touch of cacao.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of rum that deserves time in the glass. (…)

Hampden 4y 2021 Dokms#3 1,5l (Velier)

Last one in stock!

Hampden 4y 2021 Dokms#3 is built around the DOK mark, a style described in the supplied information as an intense expression of Hampden's Jamaican heavy pot still character. It is a molasses rum with only four years of age, yet its identity is already clear: powerful, direct and full of presence.

The pot still distillation, bourbon barrel maturation and 60% strength all point in the same direction. This is not a soft-spoken rum; it is made to show the depth and force of the Hampden style while keeping a surprisingly composed complexity. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of Jamaican rum that speaks to drinkers who enjoy a more expressive, high-energy profile.

Hampden 4y 2021 Dok Ms#3 (Velier)

Last one in stock!

Hampden 4y 2021 DOK MS#3 is a Jamaican molasses rum built around intensity. The DOK mark is presented here as a full expression of Hampden's heavy pot still style: young, powerful and far from one-dimensional. At four years old, it still carries a vibrant edge, yet the supplied description points to a surprisingly balanced complexity beneath that force.

Distilled in 2021 and matured in a bourbon barrel, it is bottled at 60% alcohol. That strength gives the rum plenty of presence, but its personality is not only about impact. Spiced and vegetal tones shape the core, with fruit and gentle sweetness adding support around the edges.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place in front of customers who want to explore Jamaican rum in a more (…)

In stock

Monymusk 2012 9y Small Batch is a Jamaican molasses rum bottled by Rest & Be Thankful. It was distilled on 21 September 2012 and matured for 9 years before being released as a small batch bottling.

The appeal here lies in the straightforward style: pot still distillation, American Oak maturation and bottling at 46%. Rather than leaning on sweetness, this rum is presented with spice and structure at the centre, supported by a measured wood influence.

With 6076 bottles released, it remains a limited batch rather than a large-scale expression. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Monymusk sits well among Jamaican rums for drinkers who appreciate independent bottlings with a clear sense of origin and style, especially now that only the last bottles remain.

Worthy Park 10y Calvados Finish Incl. Box

Worthy Park 10y Calvados Finish brings together Jamaican molasses rum, pot still distillation and a finish in Calvados casks. That finishing choice gives this limited edition a clear personality, adding an apple-brandy influence to the naturally fruit-driven side of Worthy Park.

At 10 years old and bottled at 45%, it has enough structure to carry its fruit, spice and gentle wood notes without becoming heavy. The profile leans clearly towards fruit, with lighter floral, vegetal and spiced accents adding detail around it.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum that earns its place through a very specific maturation idea rather than through broad statements. Only 1500 bottles were released, and with the last bottles available, it sits firmly among (…)
