Patridom Gran Reserva Cask Strength 50cl

In stock

Patridom Gran Reserva Cask Strength shows the Dominican rum style in a more forceful form. Bottled at 57.5%, it keeps its cask strength, giving the spirit a concentrated presence without relying on an age statement.

Maturation in American and European oak brings a gentle thread of wood and spice, while the profile remains clearly fruit-led. The multicolumn distillation points towards a clean, defined style, with the higher strength adding weight and impact.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Patridom release we would place in front of someone looking for a bolder rum experience rather than a standard easy-going bottle. The 50 cl format and the indication that only the last bottles remain make it a less everyday appearance on the shelf.

Uitvlugt 1998 18y Dd (The Nectar)

On request only

Uitvlugt 1998 18y DD is a Guyanese molasses rum with the clear identity of a single cask release. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2017 at 18 years old, it presents one particular cask rather than a broad house-style blend.

Matured in a bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength, 52.1%, it keeps a direct and unsoftened expression. The pot still distillation adds to the sense of a rum built around concentration, origin and the individual development of the cask.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Uitvlugt stands out as a small-scale and increasingly scarce bottling, with only 225 bottles produced and the last bottles now indicated. Its profile points toward clear fruit and spice, with wood playing a supporting role rather than taking over.

New Grove 3y Oak Aged Mini

Not available for shipping

New Grove 3y Oak Aged Mini is a compact introduction to Mauritian molasses rum. Made by New Grove, aged for three years in bourbon barrels and bottled at 40%, it presents a fruit-led style with gentle notes of wood, spice and a light floral touch supporting the profile.

The bourbon barrel ageing gives it a clear step beyond unaged rum, while keeping the wood influence moderate rather than dominant. Its traditional column distillation points towards a clean and approachable style, shaped by both its molasses base and its time in oak.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like miniature releases like this because they make discovery easy: a small-format way to explore New Grove and rum from Mauritius without committing to a full bottle. With only the last bottles (…)

Cash Cane Saloon Cask

In stock

Cash Cane Saloon Cask is a molasses-based rum with a firmer style: bottled at 55% and matured in American Oak. The name sets a clear mood. This is a rum with presence, built around a clearly fruity profile, while oak, spice and sweetness play more of a supporting role.

Its origin and distilling style are both described as mixed, so the focus here is less on a single place or one fixed production route and more on the final character in the glass. With no age statement, the emphasis stays on strength, composition and flavour rather than a declared maturation age.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for customers looking for something with extra strength and a fruit-led profile rather than an overtly wood-heavy style. The last-bottles indication also (…)

Depaz Port Cask Finish Incl. Box

Only 3 left in stock!

Depaz Port Cask Finish is a rum from Martinique made from sugar cane juice, with a traditional column distillation style at the heart of its identity. Rather than presenting itself through an age statement, it draws attention to origin, production style and cask influence.

The Port Cask Finish name sets the direction, while the supplied flavour profile points to a rum where fruit and wood are clearly present, supported by a lighter touch of spice. It is not described as a sweetness-led rum; the emphasis sits more with structure, cask character and fruit-driven depth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Depaz as a good example of a rum where the finish helps shape the conversation. Bottled at 45%, it has a little more strength than many standard expressions, (…)

Only 3 left in stock!

Malecon 15y + 2 Glasses is a Cuban molasses rum aged for 15 years and bottled at 40%. Made in a traditional column style and matured in bourbon casks, it brings together a mature rum profile with a measured cask influence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this giftpack is the kind of bottle we like for people who want a rum with age and a little sense of occasion. The two included glasses make it easy to share, while the presentation gives it a thoughtful gift character.

The style is led by fruit, with gentle wood, light spice and a modest sweetness in support. Malecon 15y therefore comes across as a rum where maturation is noticeable, but the fruit-driven side remains clearly present.

The flavour profile is mainly fruit-led, supported by a light (…)

Bonpland Sancti Spiritus 19y 50cl

Only 3 left in stock!

Bonpland Sancti Spiritus 19y is a Cuban molasses rum built around age, origin and small-scale bottling rather than broad commercial uniformity. Distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2018, it carries nineteen years of maturation in a 50 cl bottle.

The appeal here lies in its defined release character. This is a single cask rum with a Wine Finish, bottled at 45%, with a total outturn of 441 bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are often the ones that invite a closer look: not because they need loud claims, but because the details already tell a focused story.

Traditional column distillation gives it its Cuban foundation, while the maturation and finishing add structure around a clearly fruit-led profile. Wood, spice and sweetness are present in a (…)

Planteray Guatemala Belize (Planteray Blend) Incl. Box

In stock

Planteray Guatemala Belize brings together rums from Guatemala and Belize in a fresh Central American blend. Made in a multicolumn style, it shows a fruit-led side of rum with the polished Planteray approach that sits very naturally in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection.

The maturation gives this rum much of its shape. It begins in ex-bourbon casks before travelling to south-west France for Planteray's characteristic double ageing in ex-Ferrand casks. That cognac finish adds a gentle layer of depth and wood influence, while keeping the fruity core clearly in view.

What stands out is the combination of plum, dried fruit and a subtle touch of oak, supported by honeyed, vanilla and caramel notes. It is not presented as a heavy style, but as a refined, lightly (…)

Dictador Parrafo Borbon 2004 18y

In stock

Dictador Parrafo Borbon 2004 18y is a Colombian rum shaped around a clearly defined vintage. Distilled in 2004 and aged for 18 years, it feels more specific than a general house-style release: this is a dated bottling with its own place in the Dictador range.

The maturation in American Oak and the 46% alcohol strength give it presence, while the available profile points away from an overtly wood-led style. Fruit is the main direction here, supported by a lighter spicy accent.

With only 293 bottles produced and the final bottles now indicated, this Dictador has a natural place at Drankenshop Broekmans for customers looking for a limited Colombian rum with age, vintage character and a clearly defined release story.

Diamond 2000 16y Dd (The Nectar)

On request only

Diamond 2000 16y Dd is a Guyanese molasses rum with a decidedly small-batch feel. Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2017, it spent 16 years maturing before being filled at cask strength, at 52.3% ABV.

The appeal here lies in the way several details come together: pot still distillation, bourbon cask maturation and a single cask release. With only 266 bottles drawn, this is not a broad house-style rum, but a focused look at one individual cask and its own maturation path.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued because they show rum in a more specific, less standardised form. The last-bottles indication also makes clear that availability is now limited, giving this bottling an added sense of immediacy for those who enjoy distinctive single cask (…)

Foursquare 2005 16y Tb (Thompson Brothers)

On request only

Foursquare 2005 16y Tb is a molasses-based Barbados rum bottled by Thompson Brothers. Its appeal lies in the way the details come together: distilled in 2005, bottled in 2021, matured for 16 years and released as a single cask at cask strength.

The rum was aged in a Bourbon Barrel and made using pot still and column distillation. That gives this bottling a clear identity: one cask, one maturation path and a direct presentation at 57% ABV, without turning it into a routine house style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits among the more characterful rum selections: limited, cask-driven and rooted in Barbados. With only the last bottles remaining, it feels very much like a defined release rather than a rum that will simply stay on the shelf year after year.

The bourbon cask maturation brings a light touch of wood, supported by gentle spice and fruit in the flavour profile. There is no heavy sweetness indicated here; the cask influence appears more as a supporting layer than as the main feature.

Its appeal is easy to understand: Martinique origin, sugar cane juice, traditional column distillation and bourbon cask ageing give this Depaz a focused identity. A rum with a straightforward character and a quietly distinctive (…)

New Grove 1969 Old

On request only

New Grove 1969 Old is the kind of rum where the date does much of the talking. Distilled in 1969 in Mauritius, made from molasses and produced in a traditional column style, it places the focus on origin and vintage rather than on a broad, modern rum recipe.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this naturally stand apart, especially when only the last bottles remain. The 47% strength gives it a serious presence, while the available profile points clearly toward wood and fruit, with spice in a supporting role. El Ron Prohibido Gran Reserva 15y is a Mexican molasses rum with a 15-year statement and maturation in bourbon barrels. It sits in a style where the fruit-driven side of the rum remains clear, while the cask adds a gentle touch rather than taking over.

Traditional column distillation and the use of a solera system shape a rounded, layered expression. The flavour profile points to fruit as the main theme, supported by light wood, mild spice and a measured sweetness.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would introduce to someone looking for a Mexican Gran Reserva with maturity and softness, but without an overly heavy oak or spice character.

Tres Hombres Isla Bonita 97 1l

In stock

Tres Hombres Isla Bonita 97 is a molasses-based rum with a noticeably more serious presence in the glass. The 1997 reference gives it an older, more developed frame, while the 50% strength points to a rum with real substance rather than a soft, easygoing style.

It was made in a multicolumn distilling style and shaped through a solera system, with a Madeira finish adding another layer to the composition. That finish is part of the story, but it does not overshadow the rum's broader identity.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Isla Bonita as a bottle for rum drinkers who enjoy a fruit-led profile with measured wood, spice and sweetness around it. With only the last bottles remaining, it has the feel of a release worth considering while it is still within (…)

Ricci Influences N°3 (Famille Ricci) Incl. Box

In stock

Ricci Influences N°3 is a molasses-based rum from Famille Ricci, built around a blend of Guatemala at 62% and Guyana at 38%. The use of both pot still and column distillation gives the rum a layered foundation, while the absence of additions keeps the focus on the blend and its maturation.

The cask selection adds much of the intrigue here. Bourbon casks, heavily toasted new casks, Sauternes casks and small toasted acacia casks come together in a style shaped by citrus, dried fruit, gentle honeyed sweetness and toasted notes. It is a refined rum rather than an overly wood-driven one, with the cask influence supporting the fruit and roasted accents.

Beenleigh 2015 8y Mag 1,5l (Velier)

Very last one in stock!

Beenleigh 2015 8y Mag 1.5l is an Australian molasses rum with a strong sense of place. It comes from Beenleigh, a distillery founded in 1884 in Queensland, and is made from molasses sourced from Australia's last privately owned mill. That background gives the bottle a story before the glass is even poured.

The rum is distilled using both columns and pot stills, then aged for 8 years in bourbon barrels. At 60% and bottled at cask strength, it keeps a firm, direct character rather than smoothing away its natural intensity. The 1.5 litre magnum format adds to its distinctive presence, especially as these are the last bottles.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Velier bottling sits in the selection for drinkers who appreciate rum with origin, power and detail: (…)

Fiji 2004 17y Eli Yard (Elizabeth Yard Single Cask)

In stock

Fiji 2004 17y Eli Yard is a molasses rum with a very clearly defined identity. Distilled in Fiji in 2004 and bottled in 2022, it spent 17 years maturing before being released by Elizabeth Yard as part of its single cask range. It comes from one hogshead and was bottled at cask strength, at 52.7% ABV.

The appeal here lies in the precision of the release. One cask, only 250 bottles, and now marked as last bottles. Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum that speaks to drinkers who enjoy limited bottlings with a clear sense of origin and maturation rather than a broad, blended style.

The rum was produced using pot still and column distillation, giving it an additional point of interest for anyone exploring Fiji rum in more detail. (…)

Patridom XO Cognac Tube Incl.

Patridom XO Cognac is a Dominican rum built around locally grown sugar cane and given an added layer through a Cognac cask finish. The Patridom range focuses on premium rums from the Dominican Republic, distilled in a multi-column still and matured in the country's tropical climate.

What gives this release its own direction is the second maturation. After its tropical ageing, it spent an additional period in selected casks in the continental climate of warehouse 1423 in Denmark. The result stays soft and gently sweet, but the fruit feels more developed, with light spice and a subtle touch of wood adding depth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Patridom has a natural place among rums for drinkers who enjoy a rounded, fruit-led style with a little extra refinement (…)

Barcelo 11y (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

In stock

Barcelo 11y is a Dominican rum with a distinctly small-batch feel. Elizabeth Yard bottled it after 11 years of maturation at 51.15%, keeping it at cask strength rather than softening it down to a more standard drinking strength.

Its appeal lies in the fact that it comes from a single Bourbon Barrel, with only 92 bottles drawn from that cask. That gives this release a very specific identity: less a broad house expression, more a close look at one individual barrel. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value these kinds of bottlings because they show a more focused side of rum, shaped by one cask and one moment in maturation.

Traditionally column distilled, the rum leans most clearly toward fruit, supported by gentle wood, spice and sweetness. The 11 years of age, the (…)

Its bourbon barrel maturation supports a style that feels more composed than exuberant. The profile points to noticeable wood and fruit, with lighter touches of spice and floral character in the background. Multicolumn distillation adds to the sense of a controlled, polished rum rather than a heavy or rustic one.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who enjoy older rum with a calm, grown-up presence. The 30th Anniversary name gives it a commemorative feel, but the (…)

Malecon 8y Gran Reserva

Malecon 8y Gran Reserva is a Cuban molasses-based rum, aged for eight years and bottled at 40%. The Gran Reserva name points to a matured style, but the available profile suggests a rum where oak remains a supporting element rather than the main focus.

Its multicolumn distillation and bourbon cask maturation give it a composed, polished framework. The fruit side is the clearest part of the profile, while wood, spice, sweetness and a light floral touch sit more quietly around it.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this Malecon among the rums for customers looking for a well-aged Cuban style with a fruit-led character and measured cask influence. It is not a rum built on excess, but on a clean and approachable sense of balance.
