Neisson Empyreumatique Full Proof Incl. Box

Neisson Empyreumatique Full Proof is a Martinique rum made from sugar cane juice, with a character that immediately feels distinctive. The name refers to the Greek empyreuma, evoking charcoal used to rekindle a fire, and that idea runs through the style of the cuvée: toasted, grilled aromas, without an exaggerated oak imprint.
Matured for eight years and bottled at natural strength, it brings concentration without losing freshness. The blend includes rum aged in cognac and bourbon casks, giving depth and structure, while fruity, floral and spicy accents keep the profile lively. It is not simply about strength; the appeal lies in the way intensity and finesse sit together.

Neisson Le Vieux

Neisson Le Vieux is an agricole rum from Martinique with sugar cane at the heart of its identity. The supplied notes describe a bright, aromatic style, with lemon and citrus giving freshness alongside the clear cane-driven character.
Neisson is presented as a pioneer in organic agriculture, adding an interesting dimension to the rum. The focus is not just on origin, but also on the way the raw material is treated and expressed.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would point out to someone interested in the fresher, more expressive side of agricole rum. The gift pack also makes it a thoughtful bottle to give to someone who enjoys a distinctly Caribbean rum style.

Diamond 2005 19y Sv (Nobilis Rum) Incl. Box

Diamond 2005 19y Sv is a Guyanese rum with a distinctly limited feel. A 2005 vintage, 19 years of age and a total outturn of just 151 bottles make it a far more focused release than a standard shelf rum.
Its strength of 61.2% gives the bottling a serious presence. This is the kind of rum to approach slowly, with time in the glass, especially for drinkers who appreciate powerful, small-release bottlings rather than widely available expressions.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a rum like this stands out because it brings together origin, age and scarcity in a very direct way. The indication that only the last bottles remain adds to the sense that this is a release with a limited window of availability.

Neisson 2021 Straight From The Barrel Vieux Cognac
In stock
Neisson 2021 Straight From The Barrel Vieux Cognac is a cask strength agricole rum from Martinique, made from sugar cane juice and bottled at 58.9%. It has the directness suggested by its name: a rum kept close to the barrel, with concentration and presence rather than a polished, softened style.
It spent four years maturing in a 600-litre Cognac cask. The warm, humid conditions of the Vevert warehouses give it notable depth, while the cane-driven identity remains part of the conversation. The supplied profile points to a generous mix of fruit, spice, wood, floral touches and herbal accents.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who enjoy the more intense side of Martinique agricole. It is powerful, layered and expressive, with enough (…)Trois Rivières Vo Cuvee Du Moulin

Bally Art Deco N°2 Incl. Box

Bally Art Deco N°2 is a Martinique agricole rum with a clear sense of inspiration behind it. Its name looks back to the Art Deco movement, which was flourishing in France around the same period that Jacques Bally founded his namesake brand in the 1930s. In that sense, this cuvée is not just a decorative reference; it connects the bottle to the origins of J. Bally and to an era shaped by design, craft and architecture.
This is the second batch of the cuvée, and, like the previous version, it is built from three different vintages. For this release, the blend brings together 1999, 2006 and 2007. There is no age statement on the label, yet the choice of vintages gives the rum a composed, layered feel. Long Pond Lso 1998 23y (Rest & Be Thankful)

Long Pond LSO 1998 23y is a Jamaican molasses rum released under the Rest & Be Thankful label. It was distilled on 24 July 1998 and bottled on 1 March 2022, after 23 years of maturation, and it comes at its natural cask strength of 60.2%.
The appeal here lies in the very narrow focus of the release. This is rum from a single cask, distilled in a pot still and matured in American oak, with an outturn of just 162 bottles. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it gives a close look at one particular cask of Long Pond from 1998.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for exactly that sense of specificity: a limited Jamaican rum with age, strength and provenance clearly at the centre. With the last bottles now available, its small-scale (…)Jamaica 2011 15y (Cadenhead's Single Cask)

Cadenhead's Jamaica 2011 15y is an expressive Jamaican rum from the Single Cask range, distilled in 2011 and bottled after 15 years of maturation. It is a molasses rum made in a pot still style, with the typically aromatic island character highlighted in the product information.
The rum matured in a bourbon barrel, yet the real point of interest is the combination of Jamaican personality, age and single cask individuality. This is not a broad blended profile, but a specific cask selection with its own direction. At 50.4% ABV, it has a firm presence without making strength the whole story.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone looking for Jamaican rum with a pronounced aromatic signature. With only the last (…)Worthy Park 2006 15y 55° Nectar

Worthy Park 2006 15y 55° Nectar is a Jamaican molasses rum with a very direct, cask-driven identity. Pot still distillation, 15 years of maturation and bottling at cask strength place the focus firmly on depth, structure and the individuality of the barrel.
Distilled in 2006 and bottled in August 2021, it comes from a single Bourbon Barrel. That single cask origin matters here: this is not a broad house style, but one specific cask captured after a long maturation. Mount Gay Single Estate

Mount Gay Single Estate tells a very focused Barbados rum story. It comes from a series built around estate origin, following Mount Gay's 2015 acquisition of 131 hectares from the former Mount Gay Estate and Oxford Estate. That step marked the move towards an integrated approach, from sugar cane through to the finished bottle.
For this first release in the Single Estate Series, Master Blender Trudiann Branker created a blend from the 2016 and 2017 sugar cane harvests. The molasses comes from cane grown on the Mount Gay Estate, with fermentation, maturation and blending all taking place at the Mount Gay distillery. Ageing in old Quercus Alba bourbon casks gives the rum a mature, cask-influenced frame while keeping the Barbados estate origin at the centre of the story.

In the Drankenshop Broekmans selection, this bottle stands out for its combination of South African sugar cane juice rum and the influence of Sicklebush Tree. That points the character toward wood and spice, while the fruitier side remains clearly part of the profile.
There is no age statement here, so the focus is not on a number but on the style of the rum itself. With only the last bottles remaining, Mhoba Bushfire is a distinctive choice for anyone curious about the more individual side of South African rum.

A major part of its personality comes from the range of casks used in the blend. Armagnac, Cognac, Calvados, Tokaji and Sauternes casks all contribute to a layered style, with fruit, nuts, pastry-like notes and spice woven through the rum's character.

A1710 La Delivrande is an aged rum from Martinique, made from pure sugar cane juice and matured for more than six years on the estate. Distillation in both pot still and column gives this rum a profile that feels expressive yet composed. At 48.8% ABV it has real presence, though the appeal is not simply its strength. Rivière Du Mat 15y is a rum shaped by patience, place and cellar work. It comes from Réunion Island, where the sugar cane fields are described through their volcanic terroir, and that sense of origin is paired here with the skill of Rivière Du Mat's cellar master.
The rum spent 15 years in oak casks in the cellars of Saint-Louis, in the south-west of Réunion. Bourbon barrel maturation brings a clear woody presence, supported by spice, floral notes and a quieter layer of fruit and sweetness. Bottled at 43%, it presents itself as a mature rum with poise rather than excess.

Vieux Sajous 2020 5y is a Haitian sugar cane juice rum with a very clear sense of origin. That gives the rum a direct connection to the raw cane material rather than a more neutral molasses-based style.
Five years of tropical ageing add depth while keeping the spirit lively. The rum matured in a mix of casks that previously held whisky, rum and bourbon, bringing structure and spice around the cane juice core. Bottled at 59.52%, it has the strength and energy of a cask strength release.

The small scale matters here. This is a single cask rum bottled at cask strength, with only 224 bottles produced. That gives the bottle a clearly limited nature, and the fact that these are the last bottles makes its availability even more restrained.

Maturation in oak barrels that previously held bourbon brings notes associated with vanilla, caramel and toasted wood. What makes the rum appealing is the way that cask influence sits alongside fruit, floral tones and spice, rather than simply dominating the spirit.
