Foursquare Principia Velier (For Velier)

In stock

Foursquare Principia Velier is a Barbados rum with a very clear enthusiast profile. The link between Foursquare and Velier, the Principia name and the limited outturn of 5,400 bottles give this release a place beyond everyday rum.

Distilled in 2008 and aged for 9 years, it brings together pot still and column distillation. The sherry finish adds an extra layer of maturation, while the bottling strength keeps the rum firmly in a powerful, unsoftened style.

At 62% ABV, this is a cask strength release with real presence. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a rum for drinkers who are looking for a more concentrated Barbados bottling with a limited-release character.

With the last bottles now available and the product marked as a collector's (…)

Dictador Cartagena

In stock

Dictador Cartagena is a Colombian rum that reflects the approachable, elegant side of Dictador. Inspired by the historic city of Cartagena, it has a modern and versatile style rather than a heavy or demanding one.

Its appeal lies in its smooth, well-measured character. Fruit and spice are clearly present, supported by a gentle sweetness, making it easy to enjoy neat while still having enough personality for cocktails.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Dictador Cartagena as a welcoming introduction to the Dictador range, but not a simplistic one. Produced in Colombia, multicolumn distilled and matured in bourbon barrels, it is built around balance, softness and accessibility.

The aroma is expressive and inviting, with brown sugar, light caramel (…)

Takamaka Zepis Kreol + 2 Glasses

| 1 review
In stock

Takamaka Zepis Kreol shows a distinctly aromatic side of rum from the Seychelles. It is built on molasses rum, made in a traditional column style, then macerated with locally grown herbs from the Seychelles. That maceration gives the rum its most recognisable identity: fragrant, spice-led and still carrying a clear fruity side.

After maceration, the rum spends 60 days in ex-bourbon casks. That short maturation adds a light touch of wood without pulling attention away from the spices. Bottled at 43%, it has enough strength to keep that aromatic character vivid in the glass.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this giftpack stands out as a rum with a clear sense of place and flavour. The two included glasses make it easy to share, and with the last bottles now in stock, (…)

Ricci Voltface N°3 50cl (Famille Ricci) Incl. Box

In stock

Ricci Voltface N°3 from Famille Ricci brings together two rum origins in one powerful bottling: 45% Guyana and 55% Barbados. Distillation takes place through both column and pot still, giving the rum a broad foundation with drive, weight and a distinctly expressive style.

Its maturation in ex-Pineau des Charentes Blanc casks and new chestnut wood casks adds another layer to the story. Bottled without additions at 64.5%, this molasses rum keeps its concentrated, cask-strength personality intact. It is a bold rum, but its strength is matched by a notably dessert-like aromatic profile.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this 50 cl release sits naturally among rums chosen for character rather than softness. Voltface N°3 is especially interesting when you want a (…)

Black Tot Rum

In stock

Black Tot Rum is a molasses-based rum with a clear sense of presence. Bottled at 46.2%, it carries a little more weight than many standard rums, while its identity is not built around an age statement. The use of pot still and column distillation points to a layered style, with spice and fruit taking the lead and a gentle bourbon cask wood influence sitting behind them.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Black Tot is the kind of rum we would reach for when someone wants flavour and structure without moving into an overly sweet style. It has enough character to be enjoyed neat, while remaining approachable in the glass.

Dictador 2 Masters 1978 Hardy Cognac Finish

On request only

Dictador 2 Masters 1978 Hardy Cognac Finish is a Colombian rum built around time, cask character and scarcity. Distilled in 1978 and bottled on 13 August 2018, it carries an age statement of 39 years. The name points clearly to its Cognac Finish, with Hardy forming part of the identity of this release.

This is not a broad-volume bottling. It comes from a single cask, with only 360 bottles produced, and the last bottles indication gives it an extra sense of rarity. At Drankenshop Broekmans, a rum like this stands apart because it brings together mature Colombian rum, a defined cask finish and a very limited release.

The distillation style combines pot still and column distillation, bottled at 41% alcohol. Its profile places fruit and spice at the centre, with (…)

Belize 2011 Drankenshop Broekmans (1423 Single Barrel Selection)

In stock

Belize 2011 from 1423 Rum World Class is a molasses-based rum distilled in Belize and bottled in April 2021. Rather than a broad blend, this is a single cask release from one Bourbon Barrel, with only 90 bottles produced. That immediately gives it a focused identity: one cask, one limited selection, one particular expression of maturation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this have a special appeal because they show rum in a very defined form. Distilled in 2011 in a traditional column style and bottled at 46%, it brings together Belizean origin, molasses distillate and bourbon cask influence without turning the story into something overly complicated.

The fact that these are the last bottles adds to the sense of rarity, but the main interest remains (…)

Appleton Estate Reserve Blend

Not available for shipping

Appleton Estate Reserve Blend is a Jamaican molasses rum built around a clearly fruity and spiced style. The word Blend matters here: rather than focusing on one single dimension, it brings together different sides of Jamaican rum in a composed, approachable way.

Its character is shaped by a combination of pot still and column distillation, giving it a meeting point between depth and smooth drinkability. American oak adds a gentle wood influence, while the fruit and spice remain the main thread. At 40% ABV, it has enough presence to enjoy neat, yet it also makes sense in a well-made mixed drink.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a dependable introduction to a Jamaican rum style with flavour and personality, without becoming overly heavy. Additional (…)

Privateer 2017 5y Single Cask 430 Lmdw

In stock

Privateer 2017 5y Single Cask 430 Lmdw is an American rum with a very focused identity. It is made from pure sugar cane juice, distilled using pot still and column still methods, and bottled from a single cask at cask strength. At 57.8%, it keeps the intensity of the cask clearly in view.

The rum spent its full 5 years of maturation in new American white oak. That detail matters here: the oak supports the spicy side of the rum, while a gentle sweetness and fruit-led character remain part of the profile. With only 240 bottles filled, this P430 release has the feel of a precise, limited snapshot rather than a broad house style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued because they show rum in a more individual form. One cask, one maturation (…)

Ricci Belier Incl. Box

In stock

Ricci Belier by Famille Ricci brings together two Caribbean origins in one molasses-based rum: Jamaica and Belize. Its identity is built around that meeting point, supported by a combination of pot still and column distillation rather than a single, narrowly defined style.

The maturation took place in bourbon barrels, with 14 years in Jamaica and 16 years in Belize. That gives Belier its sense of depth: tropical fruit at the front, a clear spicy side, and enough wood influence to frame the rum without taking away from its fruit-driven energy.

At 56.5%, this is bottled at cask strength, so the concentration is immediately part of the experience. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who enjoy discovering how different Caribbean (…)

Takamaka Zepis Kreol

In stock

Takamaka Zepis Kreol by Saint André is a molasses-based rum from the Seychelles, giving it a point of origin that already sets it apart from many more familiar rum regions. The name carries a Creole feel, and the profile follows that direction with spice and fruit as the main impressions.

It is distilled using both pot still and column distillation, a combination that places it between fuller rum character and a more defined, polished structure. At 43% alcohol, it has enough strength to carry its flavour without feeling overdriven.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who enjoy exploring beyond the usual rum countries and who appreciate a style where spice and fruit are clearly present, supported by light sweetness and a modest (…)

Planteray Oftd (Old Fashioned Traditional Dark) (Planteray Blend)

In stock

Planteray OFTD, short for Old Fashioned Traditional Dark, is Planteray's take on the classic overproof rum style. It brings together rum from Guyana, Jamaica and Barbados and is bottled at a powerful 69% ABV, giving it the strength and density needed to stand firm in cocktails as well as in the glass.

The story behind it is very much a tasting-room story. Alexandre Gabriel and his team worked with seven deeply committed rum enthusiasts during a long development process, creating more than 1000 trial samples before choosing the final base for what they saw as the right rum cocktail foundation. OFTD may officially mean Old Fashioned Traditional Dark, but the more colourful origin of the abbreviation is part of its reputation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is (…)

El Salvador 2013 (1423 Single Barrel Selection) Incl. Box

Only 3 left in stock!

El Salvador 2013 from 1423 Rum World Class is built around a very specific rum story: one cask, one origin and one vintage. Distilled from molasses in 2013 in a traditional column still, it was bottled in August 2023 after ten years of maturation.

The ex-port cask maturation gives the rum an extra layer of depth, while the bottled strength of 57% keeps the style direct and full of presence. The supplied tasting notes point towards dried fruit, warm spice, delicate honey and a subtle touch of oak, so the emphasis sits more on warmth and spice than on heavy sweetness.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle belongs among the rums chosen for drinkers who enjoy a more transparent presentation of cask and distillate. It was not chill filtered and no additives were (…)

Patridom XO Oloroso Tube Incl.

In stock

Patridom XO Oloroso brings together the smooth Dominican style of the Patridom range with the added depth of an Oloroso cask finish. The rum is made from locally grown sugar cane in the Dominican Republic, distilled in a multi-column still and matured in the country's tropical climate, giving it the polished and gentle foundation associated with the series.

Its second maturation is what gives this release its own identity. Selected Oloroso casks were used for an additional ageing period in the continental climate of warehouse 1423 in Denmark. That extra stage adds darker, more layered accents to the rum, with fruit and spice taking a more prominent role while the overall impression remains soft and sweet.

Patridom Gran Reserva Cask Strength 50cl

In stock

Patridom Gran Reserva Cask Strength shows the Dominican rum style in a more forceful form. Bottled at 57.5%, it keeps its cask strength, giving the spirit a concentrated presence without relying on an age statement.

Maturation in American and European oak brings a gentle thread of wood and spice, while the profile remains clearly fruit-led. The multicolumn distillation points towards a clean, defined style, with the higher strength adding weight and impact.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Patridom release we would place in front of someone looking for a bolder rum experience rather than a standard easy-going bottle. The 50 cl format and the indication that only the last bottles remain make it a less everyday appearance on the shelf.

Malecon 1979 Esplendida 4,5l

Last one in stock!

Malecon 1979 Esplendida 4.5l is a Cuban rum with an immediate sense of presence, partly because of its 1979 vintage reference and partly because of the generous bottle size. It is made from molasses, distilled in a traditional column style and bottled at 40% alcohol.

The bourbon cask element gives this release a wood-driven side, while the supplied flavour profile also points clearly towards spice and fruit. Its sweetness is more restrained, so the impression is not built around sugariness alone.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of rum that stands apart from the everyday shelf: Cuban in origin, vintage-led in identity and presented in a 4.5 litre format that makes it particularly striking to serve or share.

Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Despagne's Red Wine Bordeaux Cask

On request only

Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Despagne's Red Wine Bordeaux Cask is a Colombian rum built around patience, cask identity and a clear Bordeaux connection. Distilled in 1980 and bottled on 13 August 2018, it carries 37 years of maturation before being presented at 45% alcohol.

What makes this release especially interesting is its single cask nature and its Bordeaux finish in a red wine cask from Despagne. That finishing detail gives the rum a distinctive frame: the profile points towards wood, spice and fruit as the main elements, with sweetness playing a quieter supporting role.

Only 381 bottles were filled, and the indication of last bottles gives this Dictador a particular relevance within the Drankenshop Broekmans selection. The combination of pot still and (…)

Port Mourant 10y So (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

In stock

Port Mourant 10y So is a molasses-based rum from Guyana, bottled by Elizabeth Yard as part of the with finishes series. Its identity is built around a wooden vat still distillation, a sherry cask finish and a natural cask strength bottling at 49.8%.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this stand out because they give a very direct sense of selection. This is a single cask rum, distilled on 31 August 2011 and aged for 10 years, with only 222 bottles produced. It feels focused rather than broadly composed: one cask, one finish, one limited release.

The sherry finish adds extra depth to a rum whose profile leans clearly towards fruit and spice, while the wood remains present without taking over. For anyone exploring Guyanese rum beyond the usual releases, (…)

Uitvlugt 1998 18y Dd (The Nectar)

Uitvlugt 1998 18y DD is a Guyanese molasses rum with the clear identity of a single cask release. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2017 at 18 years old, it presents one particular cask rather than a broad house-style blend.

Matured in a bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength, 52.1%, it keeps a direct and unsoftened expression. The pot still distillation adds to the sense of a rum built around concentration, origin and the individual development of the cask.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Uitvlugt stands out as a small-scale and increasingly scarce bottling, with only 225 bottles produced and the last bottles now indicated. Its profile points toward clear fruit and spice, with wood playing a supporting role rather than taking over.

Dos Maderas PX 5y + 5y Mini is a molasses rum from Guyana, made with a combination of pot still and column distillation. The name points to its five-plus-five-year ageing structure, giving a total age of 10 years, with a Pedro Ximenez cask finish forming an important part of its identity. In mini format, it is a compact introduction to this Dos Maderas style.

Its profile is built around clear wood influence, spice and fruit, while sweetness plays a more restrained supporting role. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a rum for customers who want to explore how maturation and finishing shape a spirit's character without the description becoming overly technical.

Plantation Sealander Mini

Plantation Sealander Mini is a small-format rum from Planteray, the brand also known as Plantation. With its origin listed as Mix, this is not presented as a rum from one single country, but as a release with a broader source of origin.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a mini like this has a clear role: it gives customers the chance to get acquainted with the bottling without committing to a full-size bottle. At 40% alcohol, it sits at a familiar rum strength, while the compact format makes it easy to add to a tasting selection or offer as a small discovery.

Stock is now limited to the last bottles, so this mini edition is becoming harder to find in our range.

Cash Cane Saloon Cask

In stock

Cash Cane Saloon Cask is a molasses-based rum with a firmer style: bottled at 55% and matured in American Oak. The name sets a clear mood. This is a rum with presence, built around a clearly fruity profile, while oak, spice and sweetness play more of a supporting role.

Its origin and distilling style are both described as mixed, so the focus here is less on a single place or one fixed production route and more on the final character in the glass. With no age statement, the emphasis stays on strength, composition and flavour rather than a declared maturation age.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for customers looking for something with extra strength and a fruit-led profile rather than an overtly wood-heavy style. The last-bottles indication also (…)
