Chichibu 2014 11y Elixir Trail (Elixir Distillers - Whisky Trail)
On request only
Chichibu 2014 11y Elixir Trail is a Japanese single malt with a very defined identity: one single cask, bottled at cask strength, with only 240 bottles released. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we like to present as a specific cask story rather than a standard expression, because its interest lies in the detail of that individual maturation.
Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 by Elixir Distillers for the Whisky Trail series, it was finished in an ex-IPA cask. That beer cask influence gives the whisky a hoppy, slightly daring edge, while the Chichibu character is described through Japanese precision and craft. The result is a release where floral notes, spice and a gentle malt bitterness all have a role to play.
At 54.5%, it carries the (…)Invergordon 1993 28y (Elixir Distillers - Whisky Trail)

Invergordon 1993 28y (Elixir Distillers - Whisky Trail)
On request only
Invergordon 1993 28y is a Highland grain whisky with a very focused identity: one bourbon cask, distilled on 17 May 1993 and bottled on 1 February 2022 after 28 years of maturation. Rather than presenting a broad house style, this release captures the character of a single cask at natural cask strength.
Bottled by Elixir Distillers for the Whisky Trail series, it comes in at 50.3% and was limited to just 160 bottles. With the last bottles now indicated, it occupies a distinctive place at Drankenshop Broekmans for drinkers who enjoy older grain whisky with a clear sense of origin and scarcity.
The profile is led by spice, with lighter touches of wood, fruit and floral notes in support. There is no peated or salty emphasis here; the interest lies in the long (…)Strathclyde 1993 28y (Elixir Distillers - Whisky Trail)

Strathclyde 1993 28y (Elixir Distillers - Whisky Trail)
On request only
Strathclyde 1993 28y is a Lowland grain whisky with a quietly rare profile. Distilled on 17 August 1993 and bottled on 21 February 2022, it spent 28 years maturing before being released by Elixir Distillers as part of the Whisky Trail series.
The appeal here lies in its very specific origin. This is a single cask bottling from a bourbon cask, presented at natural cask strength of 55.1% ABV. With only 195 bottles drawn from the cask, and with the last bottles now remaining, it has the feel of a whisky captured from one precise point in time.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Strathclyde as a fine example for drinkers who want to give grain whisky the attention it deserves. Its profile points towards floral, fruity and woody dimensions, with spice playing a (…)Teaninich 2007 14y (Elixir Distillers - Whisky Trail)

Teaninich 2007 14y (Elixir Distillers - Whisky Trail)
On request only
Teaninich 2007 14y is a Highland single malt with the kind of narrow focus that makes independent bottlings so engaging. Distilled on 28 September 2007 and bottled on 21 February 2022 by Elixir Distillers for the Whisky Trail series, it was drawn from a single hogshead and released at cask strength. Rather than presenting a house style blended across many casks, it captures one individual cask at one specific point in its maturation.
Only 260 bottles were produced, and these are marked as the last bottles with us. In the whisky range at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Teaninich sits in that appealing corner where limited availability, independent selection and cask-driven character come together without unnecessary decoration.
The profile points towards fruit and (…)
