  Kura 12y White Oak

  In stock

Kura 12y White Oak is a Japanese whisky from Helios, shaped by 12 years of maturation and an oak cask influence that sits clearly at the heart of its style. It is not presented as a smoky whisky; the emphasis here is more on wood, spice and a measured sense of maturity.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Japanese whisky we would point out to someone interested in a calmer, oak-led profile rather than a heavily peated or intensely fruity dram. The floral and fruity notes play a supporting role, while the wood and spice give the whisky its main direction.

Bottled at 40%, Kura 12y White Oak keeps its strength approachable while still carrying the depth associated with its 12-year age statement.

  Kura 8y White Oak

  In stock

Kura 8y White Oak by Helios is an 8-year-old Japanese whisky with a calm, fruit-led style. Its maturation in oak casks gives it a gentle wood influence, while the overall impression remains composed rather than heavy.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a pleasant introduction to the more restrained side of Japanese whisky. It does not lean on peat or salty notes; instead, the profile is built around clear fruitiness, with light floral touches, subtle oak and a modest hint of spice.

Bottled at 40%, Kura 8y White Oak keeps its character direct and easy to read. It is a whisky of softness and balance, rather than one driven by power or smoke.
