Laphroaig 2016 10y Rum Cask Finish (Douglas Laing Old Particular) Tube Incl.
On request only
Laphroaig 2016 10 Year Old Rum Cask Finish is an Islay single malt bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range, as part of the Paradise In Smoke Collection. It keeps the unmistakable Laphroaig identity in view: medicinal peat smoke, maritime depth and a firm smoky presence.
The distinctive twist is its finish in a Trinidad rum cask. That finish brings a more exotic layer to the whisky, adding notes of tropical fruit, brown sugar and soft caramel around the classic Islay smoke. It does not soften the whisky into something anonymous; it gives Laphroaig a more adventurous edge.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to present to drinkers who already enjoy smoky whisky but want to explore a less conventional side of it. With 10 (…)Amrut Little Greedy Angels 8y Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!
Amrut Little Greedy Angels 8y is an Indian single malt with a clear sense of identity: 8 years old, matured in a Bourbon Barrel and bottled at 50%. It has the strength to make itself heard, yet the available profile points more towards fruit-driven character than sheer weight.
Fruit is the main thread here, supported by lighter touches of wood, spice, floral notes and a gentle peated edge. The Bourbon Barrel maturation adds context without taking over the whole whisky, keeping the focus on the style of the spirit as much as on the cask.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits nicely among the more distinctive single malts in the selection: Indian in origin, age-stated, bottled at a confident strength and now down to the last bottles. For anyone following Amrut (…)Benriach Smoky 10 Tube Incl.

Benriach Smoky 10 is a 10-year-old Speyside single malt with a clear sense of direction: fruit comes first, while the smoky side adds character without taking over. It shows a different angle on Speyside, with peat used as a supporting note rather than a dominant force.
Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence for considered sipping, while the supplied profile points to a whisky shaped by fruit, gentle wood influence, light spice, a floral touch and a restrained peated note.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would bring into the conversation when someone wants a Speyside malt with a little extra tension, but not an intensely smoky style. Further information about the brand can be found at https://www.benriachdistillery.co.uk/

Cody Road Bourbon 50cl is an American bourbon with a notably fruit-led character. At 45% alcohol, it has enough strength to feel present in the glass, while the available profile points to a style where fruit takes the lead and oak, spice and a light floral touch play supporting roles.
Its maturation in new oak gives the bourbon its woody framework, without making the wood the main story. The balance suggested here is more about freshness and flavour definition than heavy cask weight or smoky intensity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that catches the eye of customers looking for a bourbon outside the most familiar names. The 50cl format makes it a compact introduction to Cody Road, and these are the last bottles available in our (…)Hammer Head 1989 23y

Hammer Head 1989 23y

Hammer Head 1989 23y is a Czech single malt with a clear sense of time behind it. Distilled in 1989 and matured for 23 years, it stands apart from the more familiar whisky origins while still speaking the language of single malt.
European oak gives the whisky its maturation framework, but the supplied flavour profile points most strongly toward fruit. Wood and spice are present in a supporting role, with a light floral touch adding extra detail. Peat and salty notes are not part of the main picture here, so the focus stays on a fruit-led, gently structured style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value bottlings like this because they bring something different to the shelf without relying on noise or exaggeration: a 23-year-old single malt from the Czech Republic, (…)Braeckman Single Grain 2008 10y 50cl

Braeckman Single Grain 2008 10y 50cl

Braeckman Single Grain 2008 10y is a Belgian grain whisky with a quietly distinctive identity. Distilled in 2008 and matured for ten years, it was drawn from a single bourbon barrel. That gives the bottle a very specific character: not a broad blend, but the voice of one individual cask.
Only 322 bottles were filled, and these are now among the last bottles available. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like releases like this because they show Belgian whisky in a focused, small-scale way: limited, clearly defined and made for people who enjoy discovering something outside the obvious names.
The profile is led by fruit, supported by gentle floral, woody and spicy touches. The bourbon barrel influence is present without dominating the whisky. Bottled at 46%, it has (…)Jameson Bow Street 18y

Jameson Bow Street 18y shows a more mature and forceful side of Irish blended whiskey. The 18 year age statement gives it depth of positioning, while the 55.1% strength makes clear that this is a more concentrated Jameson to take time with.
Its bourbon barrel maturation gives the whiskey a wood-framed setting, though the supplied flavour profile points most strongly towards fruit. Gentle spice, light wood influence and a subtle floral note sit around that fruitier core, giving the whiskey a layered character without turning it into a heavily peated or coastal style.

| 1 review
In stockBushmills 10y is an Irish single malt built around freshness and easy charm rather than weight. It spends ten years maturing, mainly in American oak bourbon casks, with a smaller influence from Spanish oak that previously held sherry. That combination gives the whiskey its bright fruitiness, with gentle touches of vanilla, honey and spice.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good example of how approachable Irish single malt can still have a clear sense of character. The bourbon cask influence brings softness and familiar sweetness, while the sherry-seasoned Spanish oak adds a little extra depth without making the whiskey feel heavy.
Bottled at 40%, Bushmills 10y remains smooth in style, yet the freshness and spice keep it lively in the glass. (…)The Irishman Harvest

The Irishman Harvest is an Irish blended whiskey built around a distinctive recipe: 70% single malt and 30% single pot still whiskey. That gives it more substance than many classic blends, while keeping the approachable Irish character intact.
Triple distillation and maturation in bourbon casks shape its style. The result is fruit-led, with gentle spice, malt and soft oak playing supporting roles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Irish whiskey we like to introduce to customers looking for something with a little more depth, without peat smoke or heavy flavours.
The name Harvest feels well chosen for the ripe, rounded impression found in the tasting notes, with peach, green apple, vanilla, creamy caramel and oak all coming through.

The Busker Single Pot Still is an Irish whiskey built around the character of single pot still rather than an age statement. It presents itself through style, cask influence and a clearly fruit-led profile.
Sherry and bourbon casks shape the background of this whiskey, giving room for fruit to stand at the centre while lighter notes of wood, spice and floral character sit around it. At 44.3% alcohol, it has a little more weight than a very standard-strength bottling, without feeling like a purely technical release.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good example of Irish whiskey for those who want to look beyond the most familiar expressions, especially when fruit and gentle cask influence are more important than peat or maritime character.
