Arran Peated 2014 10y (Adelphi)

In stock

Arran Peated 2014 10y shows a more smoky, forceful side of Arran while still keeping the soft touch of bourbon maturation close at hand. This single malt from the Isle of Arran matured in a first fill bourbon barrel, giving its peated island character a gentler vanilla-led counterpoint.

As a single cask release bottled at cask strength, 57.1%, it feels deliberately specific rather than broadly polished. Only 230 bottles were drawn from this cask, making it a focused snapshot of one barrel's development. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued because they let the cask speak clearly, without hiding the details that make it individual.

The peat is clearly present, supported by a malty core, a lightly salty edge and a long dry smoky finish. It (…)

Croftengea 2017 6y (Campbeltown Whisky Company - Watt Whisky)

In stock

Croftengea 2017 6y is a Highland single malt from Loch Lomond, bottled by Watt Whisky for the Campbeltown Whisky Company. Its main appeal lies in its precision: one bourbon barrel, bottled at cask strength. Rather than presenting a broad, polished house style, it captures the personality of one individual cask.

At 6 years old, it keeps a youthful sense of drive, and the 57.1% ABV gives it a firm, direct presence. With only 252 bottles released, this is a small-scale bottling, and the fact that these are the last bottles makes that limited nature feel very tangible.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we place in front of customers who enjoy exploring single cask releases with a more outspoken identity. Peat is clearly part of the profile, (…)

Ledaig 2009 16y (The Whisky Agency - Made For Friends & Wave Farewell)

On request only

Ledaig 2009 16y is a Mull single malt with a distinctly raw, coastal voice. The supplied notes describe it as phenolic, iodine-rich and maritime, with the wild edge associated with this Ledaig style rather than a polished, softened presentation.

Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2025 after 16 years of maturation, it comes from a single Hogshead cask. The Whisky Agency bottled it at cask strength, 52.9%, as part of the Made for friends & wave farewell release. That gives it the feel of a very specific cask snapshot: concentrated, limited and tied to one individual maturation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we place in front of someone looking for island intensity with real coastal bite. The last-bottles status matters here, because a (…)

Ledaig 2020 6y Sv 100 Proof (Signatory Vintage 100 Proof)

On request only

Ledaig 2020 6 Year Old SV 100 Proof is a single malt from Mull, bottled by Signatory as part of the Signatory Vintage 100 Proof range. At 57.1%, it speaks in a clear, forceful voice, with the kind of directness that makes young independently bottled whisky so engaging.

The maturation combines sherry and bourbon casks, but the main thread remains unmistakably peated. Around that smoky core sit lighter touches of fruit, spice, oak, floral nuance and a salty edge. Rather than feeling cask-led, this Ledaig keeps the emphasis on its robust island malt character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottling for drinkers who enjoy a young single malt with energy and a defined smoky profile. With only the last bottles remaining, it also carries the fleeting (…)

Elements Of Islay Gift Set 3x5cl (Cask Edition, Bourbon Cask & Sherry Cask)

In stock

This Elements of Islay Gift Set brings together three 5 cl bottles built around one clear theme: Islay blended malt whisky. The selection contains Cask Edition at 46%, Bourbon Cask at 54.5% and Sherry Cask at 54.5%, making it more than a simple miniature pack. It is a compact way to compare three different takes on the Elements of Islay style.

The peat influence sits at the heart of the set, supported by lighter impressions of wood, spice, fruit, saltiness and a subtle floral side. With no age statement, the focus is on character, composition and the contrast between the three bottlings rather than on maturation age.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a particularly engaging format for anyone who enjoys tasting side by side. It also works very naturally (…)

Smokehead 3x5cl Rum Rebel, High Voltage & 43°

Temporarily sold out
Expected: 22/11/2026

Smokehead 3x5cl Rum Rebel, High Voltage & 43° is a gift box built around discovery. Instead of presenting Islay single malt through one bottle, it lets you taste three different Smokehead expressions side by side, each carrying the brand's bold, smoky attitude in its own way.

Rum Rebel brings a sweeter, more exotic and spicy angle, while High Voltage pushes into the stronger peat-driven side of the style. The 43° expression completes the set, turning it into a compact tasting journey through Smokehead's forceful and unconventional take on Islay whisky.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like sets like this because they make flavour differences tangible. It is a bottle-by-bottle comparison in miniature, well suited for gifting, sharing or simply (…)

Longrow 2026

In stock

Longrow 2026 is a Campbeltown single malt with a clear peated side, yet its smoke never takes over the whole conversation. Longrow was first distilled in 1973 and has been produced annually since 1990, giving the name a distinct identity within Scottish whisky.

The character starts with the malted barley, dried for 48 hours over a peat fire, followed by double distillation. That gives the whisky its smoky foundation, while the style remains creamy, layered and approachable in its own firm way. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Longrow we like to introduce when someone wants peat with shape and detail rather than simple heaviness.

Bottled at 46%, Longrow 2026 has enough presence to carry its smoke, ripe fruit, spice and gentle salty edge with (…)

Kilchoman Sanaig Cask Strength

On request only

Kilchoman Sanaig Cask Strength takes the familiar Sanaig recipe and presents it with more natural force. It is made from the same cask recipe as the regular Sanaig release, with maturation mainly in oloroso sherry casks, but instead of being reduced with water after cask selection, it is bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.8%.

That higher strength gives the whisky a more concentrated voice. The Islay peat smoke is rich and assertive, with cinnamon sweetness, stone fruit, waves of citrus, mixed spices and dark chocolate all coming through from the sherry-led maturation. It is a powerful single malt, but the intensity is there to carry flavour rather than simply alcohol.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this limited edition stands out for drinkers who (…)

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14

In stock

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 is a strong example of how Glengyle Distillery brings powerful peat together with the distinctive Campbeltown style. The malt is peated to around 45 ppm, yet the whisky is not simply about smoke. The oily, maritime and refined Kilkerran character remains firmly in place.

Maturation took place in 90% bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks, giving this batch a mix of freshness, sweet malt and added depth. Bottled at cask strength at 58.3%, without chill filtration and without added colouring, it comes across as a direct and energetic expression of the Heavily Peated series.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to drinkers who enjoy Campbeltown single malt in a more intense, smoky form. With the (…)

Ballechin 2014 Lmdw Tube Incl.

Only 3 left in stock!

Ballechin 2014 Lmdw is a Scottish Highland single malt built around a clear peated character. It was drawn from a single Bourbon Barrel and bottled at cask strength, so the appeal here lies in the directness of one individual cask rather than a broader batch composition.

Distilled on 10 December 2014 and bottled on 23 July 2024, it spent 10 years maturing before being released at 58.4% alcohol. Only 225 bottles were produced, and with the final bottles now in focus, it has the naturally limited feel that makes a release stand out in the Drankenshop Broekmans whisky selection.

The flavour direction is led by peat, with lighter supporting notes of fruit, spice, salt, wood and a floral touch. The Bourbon Barrel influence frames the whisky without turning it into (…)

Ardbeg 19y Traigh Bhan 5th Edition Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Ardbeg 19y Traigh Bhan 5th Edition is a 19-year-old Islay single malt with a very defined place in the Ardbeg range. Distilled in 2004 and presented as the fifth edition, it carries the feeling of a release tied to a specific moment rather than a general expression.

Its maturation in bourbon and sherry casks gives structure to the whisky while keeping the Islay identity at the centre. Bottled at 46.2%, it has enough strength to support its peated character without turning the presentation into a purely high-proof statement.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Ardbeg we would point out to someone interested in older releases and bottles with collectable appeal. The collectors item indication matters here: it frames this bottle as a particular edition (…)

Mars Tsunuki Peated

In stock

Mars Tsunuki Peated shows the smoky side of Japanese single malt in a very direct way. The name already sets the tone: this is a peated Tsunuki, bottled at 50%, giving the whisky enough strength and presence without presenting it as a cask strength release.

The bourbon barrel maturation and multivintage composition add useful context. With 14,830 bottles produced, this is a clearly defined release, and the combination of collector's item status and last bottles gives it a particular relevance within the Drankenshop Broekmans selection for drinkers who follow more distinctive Japanese single malts.

Its appeal lies in that clear peated direction, supported by lighter fruity, floral, spicy, woody and salty accents. It is not a whisky built around endless detail, (…)

Ruadh Mhor 2010 15y #8027 (Berry Bros - Berry's Exceptional Casks)

On request only

Ruadh Mhor 2010 15y #8027 is a Highland single malt with a firm sense of identity. The peat is clearly part of the whisky, while the Oloroso finish brings in a drier sherry influence with nuts, orange and a pleasant bite.

Berry Bros. & Rudd bottled this release as part of Berry's Exceptional Casks. Their Odyssey concept is built around matching Scottish single malts with selected wine casks from across Europe, taking time to find the right cask rather than rushing the process. In this case, the Oloroso cask adds structure and depth to the more smoky side of Ruadh Mhor.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out because it brings together several details that matter: a 2010 single cask, matured for 15 years, bottled in 2025 at 55.5% ABV and drawn (…)

Big Peat Liege 2022 (Douglas Laing Regional Malts)

On request only

Big Peat Liege 2022 brings Islay whisky together with a distinctly Belgian reference. This Douglas Laing World Tour Liège Edition was released in early April 2022, just before Liège-Bastogne-Liège, with the bottle and label nodding to Belgium's oldest cycling classic.

The whisky is a blended malt built from several Islay distilleries, including Ardbeg, Bowmore and Caol Ila. That gives it a clear peat-driven Islay identity, though this edition also carries a fresh and fruit-led side. The higher proportion of Caol Ila compared with other versions gives this release its own place within the Big Peat family.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are always enjoyable to introduce: a Scottish island malt with a Belgian sporting story, (…)

Ardbeg Smoketrails Napa Valley 1l

Only 3 left in stock!

Ardbeg Smoketrails Napa Valley 1l is an Islay single malt with peat smoke firmly at the centre of its identity. The name points to Napa Valley, while the available cask information mentions bourbon and wine casks. That combination gives this release its particular appeal: recognisably smoky Ardbeg, with a wine-cask angle adding another dimension around the core style.

With no age statement and bottled at 46%, the focus is on composition and character rather than age. Peat is the clearest element, supported by lighter notes of wood, spice, fruit, saltiness and a subtle floral touch. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone curious about an Ardbeg that keeps its Islay smoke but brings a different cask perspective into the (…)

Hakushu Spanish Oak 2021

In stock

Hakushu Spanish Oak 2021 is a Japanese single malt with a very specific identity. The name points to Spanish Oak, while the product data places it in a sherry matured style, giving this 2021 release a more defined cask-led context than a standard everyday bottling.

At 48% alcohol, it has enough strength to carry its profile with confidence. No age statement is given, so the focus moves naturally towards the release itself, the maturation reference and the flavour direction rather than a number on the label.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this stand out because they combine Japanese single malt, limited availability and a collector-oriented character. With only the last bottles indicated, Hakushu Spanish Oak 2021 is best understood as a scarce release (…)

Smokehead Unfiltered Incl. Box

In stock

Smokehead Unfiltered puts the rugged side of Islay single malt firmly in the foreground. The unfiltered style matters here, helping the whisky keep its aromatic weight, peat intensity and fuller mouthfeel.

At 46%, it has a lively, assertive presence without feeling polished into something tame. Smoke, peat and a salty edge form the backbone of the whisky. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we bring into the conversation when someone is looking for an Islay malt with real drive and a more uncompromising feel.

The name Unfiltered suits it well. This is a rawer, more direct take on Smokehead, built around medicinal peat, persistent smoke and gentle spice rather than softness or restraint.

The aroma opens with an immediate surge (…)

Kilchoman Machir Bay + 2 Glasses

In stock

Kilchoman Machir Bay is Kilchoman's flagship single malt, named after the beautiful beach close to the distillery on Islay. In this gift pack, with two glasses included, it becomes a thoughtful way to present a whisky that speaks very clearly of its island origin.

The style is smoky, yet refined. Sherry and bourbon cask influences shape the whisky around peat, fruit and vanilla, while the 46% strength gives it enough presence without turning it into something overly forceful.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of set we like for someone who wants to give an Islay single malt with real character and a polished presentation. Its gold medal at the IWSC 2015 adds a nice point of recognition to a whisky that already has a strong identity.

Macaloney Peat Project #404

On request only

Macaloney Peat Project #404 is a Canadian single malt with peat firmly at the centre, though not in a one-dimensional way. It is made as a peated whisky at 54 ppm, using local Washington peat, giving this release a very specific identity within the world of smoky single malts.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottling we like to present as a cask-driven discovery rather than just another peated whisky. It comes from a single cask, #404, and is bottled at 46%, so the focus stays on one particular selection and its individual development.

The use of STR casks from Portuguese wine adds another layer to the story. Shaved, toasted and recharred wood brings active cask influence, while the tasting profile keeps room for floral notes, fruit, spice, malt (…)

Ardbeg Anamorphic Committee Release

In stock

Ardbeg Anamorphic Committee Release is a Scottish single malt from Islay with peat clearly at the heart of its identity. The Committee Release designation gives it a distinct place within the Ardbeg range, while the absence of an age statement keeps the focus on the style of this particular release rather than on a number on the label.

Bourbon cask maturation frames the whisky without taking attention away from its Islay character. Peat is the main voice, supported by lighter touches of salt, fruit, floral notes, wood and spice. It is a release with a defined smoky profile, but with enough surrounding detail to make the glass more than just peat-driven.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that naturally stands out for followers of Ardbeg's (…)

Smokehead Rum Rebel (Ian Macleod) Tube Incl.

In stock

Smokehead Rum Rebel is an Islay single malt with a clear sense of attitude: peated Scotch whisky given an extra twist through a rum cask finish. The name captures the idea well. It stays close to Smokehead's smoky identity, while the cask choice gives this release its own direction within the range.

There is no age statement here, so the focus sits firmly on style rather than years in cask. The profile is built around a clear peated core, with lighter touches of fruit, spice, wood, saltiness and floral notes adding shape around it.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Rum Rebel sits well among Islay whiskies for drinkers who enjoy smoke but also appreciate a less conventional finish. Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its character without turning the (…)
