Arran The Explorers Series N°3 Kildonan & Pladda Island Incl. Box
Very last one in stock!
Arran The Explorers Series N°3 Kildonan & Pladda Island is a 21-year-old single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled at cask strength at 50.4%. As part of the Explorers Series, its name anchors it firmly in place: Kildonan & Pladda Island. That gives the release a clear island identity without needing to overstate the point.
The appeal here lies in the combination of age, natural strength and limited availability. After 21 years of maturation, the whisky has had time to develop depth, while the cask strength bottling keeps its character direct and energetic. With 9,000 bottles released, and now down to the last bottles, it has become a particularly noteworthy Arran within the Drankenshop Broekmans selection.
In style, the profile is led by fruit, (…)Compass Box Brulée Royale (Compass Box Limited Edition)

Compass Box Brulée Royale (Compass Box Limited Edition)
| 1 review
On request onlyCompass Box Brulée Royale is a Scottish blended malt with a distinctly pâtisserie-minded inspiration. The release looks back to 17th-century French chef François Massialot and to the history of turning natural sugars, heat and technique into increasingly refined delicacies, with crème brûlée sitting at the heart of that idea.
For this limited edition, Compass Box brought together single malts matured in special American white oak casks, including Aberlour, Ardbeg, Clynelish and Speyburn. The cask work is central to the story. The supplied information highlights precise toasting and charring, giving the whisky a signature of peach, butterscotch and spiced molasses.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Compass (…)Speyside 1998 27y (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers)

Speyside 1998 27y (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers)
Temporarily sold out
Speyside 1998 27y from Alistair Walker keeps one important detail deliberately hidden: the distillery name. That choice puts the whisky itself centre stage a Speyside single malt distilled in 1998 and bottled after 27 years of maturation.
As part of the Infrequent Flyers range, this is a very focused release. It comes from a single cask, bottled at cask strength at 53.6%, with only 200 bottles drawn. The whisky also spent almost five years finishing in Chinkapin oak, a wood type highlighted here for its rich spiced influence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this stand out because they invite you to taste beyond the label. The undisclosed Speyside origin, long ageing, cask strength presentation and distinctive oak finish all point towards a full, (…)Redbreast 2001 17y Single Cask

Redbreast 2001 17y Single Cask
In stock
Redbreast 2001 17y Single Cask is an Irish Pure Pot Still whiskey drawn from one sherry butt. Distilled on 1 May 2001 and matured for 17 years, it represents a very specific side of Redbreast rather than a regular batch-style release.
Only 636 bottles were produced, and it was bottled at cask strength at 59.5%. Together with its single cask origin and collector's item status, that gives this release a clear sense of rarity, especially now that it concerns the last bottles.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that deserves a little context: a concentrated, cask-driven Redbreast for drinkers who appreciate Irish Pure Pot Still whiskey in a limited and clearly defined form.

Teeling Revival 2.0

Teeling Revival 2.0 is an Irish single malt with more behind it than age and cask type. It is the second limited release in the Revival Commemorative Series, created to mark the opening of the Teeling distillery, with 10,000 bottles produced. As these are the last bottles, the release now carries an added sense of scarcity.
The whisky spent its first maturation in bourbon barrels before moving into ex-Calvados casks. That finishing choice gives this 13-year-old single malt a strongly fruit-led identity, supported by spice and gentle floral and wood notes. Bottled at 46% without chill filtration, it keeps a fuller style in the glass.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Teeling we like to highlight for its clear sense of occasion: limited, (…)Arran 2000 21y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

Arran 2000 21y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

Arran 2000 21y is a single malt from the Isle of Arran with a very focused sense of origin. Distilled in 2000 and bottled in February 2021 by The Nectar for the Daily Dram series, it comes from one bourbon barrel after 21 years of maturation. Only 180 bottles were drawn from that cask.
It has been bottled at cask strength, 52.2%, so the whisky keeps a closer connection to the individual barrel rather than being shaped into a broader house-style release. That combination of age, single cask origin and natural strength makes it a particularly specific snapshot of Arran malt.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to customers who enjoy independent bottlings, vintage-dated releases and whiskies that cannot simply be repeated. The (…)Bowsaw Rye Whiskey

Bowsaw Rye Whiskey is an American rye whiskey with a clear emphasis on spice and fruit. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a bottle for those moments when you want rye whiskey without too much complication: recognisable in style, approachable in strength and still expressive enough to hold attention.
American Oak adds a light woody touch, but it does not take over the whole picture. The main impression is driven by spice and fruit, with a gentle floral note sitting further in the background.
Bottled at 40%, Bowsaw Rye Whiskey keeps an easy-going side while still showing the spicier direction associated with rye. It is a straightforward way to explore American whiskey from a fruitier, more seasoned angle.

Woodford Sonoma Triple Finish

Woodford Sonoma Triple Finish shows Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from a richer, more fruit-driven angle. Its character comes from a triple finish in Sonoma County Pinot Noir casks, Brandy casks and former Bourbon barrels that were used to mature red wine. That combination brings the bourbon into a world of red fruit, vanilla, spice and gentle oak.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as one of those Woodford releases that adds a different layer to the familiar American whiskey style. The bourbon foundation is still there, but the finishing brings extra warmth and depth, especially through its wine-influenced fruit and rounded spice.
Bottled at 45.2%, Sonoma Triple Finish has enough strength to carry those flavours with clarity. It is a (…)Green Spot Tube Incl.

Green Spot is an Irish pure pot still whiskey built around one of the defining features of the style: the use of unmalted barley. Every whiskey under the Green Spot label is triple distilled, giving it a clearly Irish identity without moving into smoky territory.
Its maturation takes place over 7 to 10 years in bourbon and sherry casks. The particularly interesting point here is the relatively high proportion of sherry cask maturation, something appreciated by drinkers who enjoy fruit, spice and gentle oak influence in their whiskey.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Green Spot is the kind of bottle we like to present when someone wants to understand how lively and flavourful Irish pure pot still whiskey can be: creamy, fruit-led and subtly spicy.

Amrut Triparva is an Indian single malt with a clear focus on fruit and spice. At 50% ABV it carries a confident strength, while the available profile does not point towards peat smoke or salty coastal notes. The emphasis is therefore on a more direct interplay of fruit, spice and gentle wood influence.
Maturation in American Oak gives the whisky its framework, but the character does not appear to rely on wood alone. The fruit and spice are the main voices, with lighter floral and woody accents adding shape around them.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this help show how wide the world of single malt has become beyond the traditional whisky regions. Its appeal lies in how specific it is. This is a single cask bottling from one bourbon barrel, presented at cask strength at 47.3%. Rather than showing a broad house blend of multiple casks, it captures the personality of one individual barrel after almost three decades.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for that sense of precision: a defined origin, a defined maturation, and a limited release with only the last bottles remaining. It is a whisky to (…)Drop Of The Irish Ba (Blackadder Various) Incl. Box

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this in front of someone looking for Scotch single malt with a clearly fruity and spiced direction, rather than peat or coastal sharpness. The profile points to fruit and spice as the main impressions, supported by a lighter touch of wood and a subtle floral side.
