Brora 40y
Only 3 left in stock!
Brora 40y is a Highland single malt defined first of all by time. Distilled in 1978 and matured for forty years in American Oak, it brings together age, origin and cask influence in a way that immediately sets it apart from everyday whisky.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that naturally draws attention from people looking for something scarce and significant. Only 1819 bottles were released, and the remaining stock is among the last bottles. Its status as a collector's item is supported by that combination of age, limited availability and the Brora name on the label.
The stated flavour profile points to a whisky built around wood, spice and fruit, with peat present only as a lighter accent. At 49.2% alcohol, it has enough strength to (…)Benriach 1994 28y #1290 48,1 Incl. Box

Benriach 1994 28y #1290 48,1 Incl. Box

Benriach 1994 28y #1290 is a Speyside single malt with a very defined identity: a peated Benriach from an oloroso sherry butt, filled on 15 July 1994 and bottled in early 2023 after 28 years of maturation.
Its appeal lies in its precision. This is not a broad release, but a single cask bottling from cask #1290, presented at cask strength at 48.1%. Only 524 bottles were drawn, giving this whisky the feeling of a specific moment captured from one individual cask.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value releases like this because they show how much personality can sit inside a single malt when age, cask and distillery character are allowed to speak clearly. It remains rooted in Speyside, yet the peated style and oloroso sherry butt add depth, spice, fruit and gentle (…)Compass Box Ultramarine (Compass Box Limited Edition)

Compass Box Ultramarine (Compass Box Limited Edition)

Compass Box Ultramarine is a limited edition blended Scotch from Compass Box. Rather than being built around an age statement, it is shaped around composition: a multivintage whisky where different vintages are brought together into one finished blend.
Bottled at 51%, Ultramarine has a confident strength that gives the whisky room to express itself. With 5,982 bottles released, it sits outside the idea of a permanent everyday blend and feels more like a specific creation within the Compass Box range.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of customers who are curious about blended Scotch as a crafted category in its own right. The available flavour profile points towards clear fruit, spice and wood influence, with peat present (…)Highland Park 2008 12y Nectar

Highland Park 2008 12y Nectar

Highland Park 2008 12y Nectar is a more focused reading of this Orkney single malt, drawn from one individual cask rather than built from a broader vatting. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in August 2021, it carries the 12-year age statement shown on the release.
The whisky comes from a sherry hogshead and was bottled at cask strength, at a substantial 66.2% alcohol. That gives the cask a very direct voice. With only 294 bottles produced, this is a tightly limited release that captures one specific maturation rather than a repeated house-style expression.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we place this Highland Park among the bottlings that are worth taking time over, especially for drinkers interested in single cask whisky with real presence. The supplied profile (…)Benriach 1994 27y Batch 18

Benriach 1994 27y Batch 18

Benriach 1994 27y Batch 18 is a Speyside single malt built around one very specific origin: a single Oloroso Sherry cask, distilled on 18 July 1994 and bottled in 2022 after 27 years of maturation. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures the identity of one cask at one point in time.
Bottled at 53% cask strength, with 659 bottles released, it has the kind of focused character that makes older single cask whisky so engaging. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is exactly the sort of bottling we like to introduce to customers who are interested in mature whisky with a clear sense of provenance.
The remaining bottles make its limited nature even more apparent. Its profile brings fruit, spice and wood to the foreground, while peat sits more quietly in (…)Compass Box Metropolis (Compass Box Limited Edition) Incl. Box

Compass Box Metropolis is the third release in the Compass Box Extinct Blends Quartet, following Ultramarine and Delos. The name points straight to the city: to movement, trade, architecture and culture, but also to the urban origins of blended Scotch, with Glasgow and Edinburgh historically supplying bottles for cities around the world.
What makes Metropolis engaging is the way Compass Box frames blended Scotch as something with atmosphere and memory. Rather than presenting the blend as a neutral category, this release connects it to the energy of city life and to the old urban culture of Scotch blending. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a bottle for drinkers who enjoy a whisky with a clear idea behind it, not just a familiar style.

Ardmore 25y Marriage (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland Marriage)
On request only
Ardmore 25y Marriage is a mature Highland single malt built around time, cask influence and limited availability. Distilled in 1997 and aged for 25 years, it shows a long-matured side of Ardmore shaped by hogshead maturation while still retaining a lightly peated thread.
The bottling comes from The Single Malts of Scotland as part of the Marriage series. With 772 bottles released, and now down to the last bottles, it has a naturally scarce character. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued for the way they offer a specific, well-defined look at an older Scotch whisky.
Its flavour profile points toward wood, spice and fruit as the main elements, with peat present in a more restrained role. Bottled at 48.6%, it has enough strength to carry its (…)Secret Orkney 2016 8y (Cadenhead's Enigma Series)

Secret Orkney 2016 8y (Cadenhead's Enigma Series)
On request only
Secret Orkney 2016 8y keeps part of its identity deliberately hidden. Cadenhead bottles it in the Enigma Series as Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Orkney, under the code IND.1.B. That IND reference is Cadenhead's way of acknowledging the island distilleries, even though the former official Islands region is no longer used in the same way.
What you have here is an undisclosed Orkney single malt, matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled at 8 years old with a robust strength of 57.5%. The character is built around clear fruit, spice and wood influence, with a lighter peated note adding an extra edge without taking over the whole whisky.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like this kind of release because it gives the independent bottler a real voice: origin, cask and (…)Bowmore 26y Trilogy

Bowmore 26y Trilogy is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a strong sense of age, cask influence and rarity. At 26 years old, matured in a wine cask and bottled at 48.7%, it clearly sits apart from everyday releases.
Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Bowmore stands out because it combines maturity with limited availability. The collectors item indication and the fact that these are the last bottles give it a particular presence on the shelf, without needing any exaggerated claims.
The style points towards a whisky where wood, spice and fruit have a clear role, while peat remains more restrained. Rather than presenting itself as a heavily smoky Islay malt, it reads as a mature Bowmore shaped by wine-cask ageing, fruit depth and a subtle (…)Highland Park 2008 10y Sc

The appeal here lies in its single cask nature and cask strength presentation. At 59.8%, it carries real intensity, with the sherry hogshead supporting a character built around wood, spice and fruit. Peat is present, but only as a lighter element rather than the dominant feature.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Highland Park we value for its specificity: not a broad house-style statement, but a snapshot from one individual cask. With only the last bottles remaining, it has the feel of a sharply defined and (…)Dad's Hat Rye Vermouth Finish

Dad's Hat Rye Vermouth Finish

Dad's Hat Rye Vermouth Finish is an American rye whiskey shaped by an extra three months in ex-vermouth casks. That finishing period gives it a distinct angle: still clearly rye-driven, but with a drier, more aromatic edge from the vermouth influence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to customers looking beyond the usual rye profile. Its 47% strength gives it presence, while the character stays focused on spice, orange-toned fruit, vanilla and a rounded vermouth sweetness.
With only the last bottles remaining, it is a particularly interesting choice for anyone curious about rye whiskey finished in a less conventional cask style.

Templeton Rye Whiskey 6y is built around a clearly defined rye identity. Its recipe is based on the original The Good Stuff and uses 95% rye, giving this American whiskey a style that leans firmly into spice, wood and fruit rather than smoke.
Six years of maturation in American Oak add structure to that rye-driven character. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whiskey for anyone looking beyond a softer bourbon profile and into something with more herbal and spicy definition, while still keeping a smooth and sweet side.
Bottled at 45.75%, Templeton Rye 6y has enough strength to carry its flavour without feeling overly forceful in the tasting description. With only the last bottles indicated, it is also becoming a less obvious find for those who want to (…)Scapegrace Fortitude V

Scapegrace Fortitude V is a New Zealand single malt with a very deliberate sense of identity. It belongs to Scapegrace's second limited release and focuses on young whisky shaped by distinctive grain and active oak, rather than relying on age as the main story.
The whisky is 3 years old and comes from 100-litre French virgin oak casks. That combination gives the maturation a clear voice, while the flavour profile points more strongly towards fruit and spice than heavy wood. The listed grain type, Manuka Smoked Laureate, adds another point of interest and helps set Fortitude V apart within the single malt category.

The sherry-matured character gives this release its direction. Fruit, spice and oak all have a clear presence, making Batch 84 a fuller and more assertive side of Speyside single malt rather than a delicate, understated dram.

Komagatake Mars Edition 2019 is a Japanese single malt that presents itself through a specific release rather than an age statement. Bottled at 48%, it puts the focus on the 2019 edition and on Komagatake's style in a clearly defined bottling.
Its bourbon cask maturation supports a whisky with noticeable wood influence, alongside fruit and spice in the flavour profile. That gives it a more structured feel than a purely delicate malt, while still staying within the refined world of Japanese single malt whisky.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, the remaining bottles of this Mars Edition 2019 stand out for their combination of Japanese origin, edition-based character and collector's item status. It is the kind of bottle that will especially catch the eye of drinkers who (…)Bowmore 1989 23y Port

Very last one in stock!
Bowmore 1989 23y Port is a Scottish Islay single malt built around a very precise set of elements: 23 years of age, port cask maturation and a natural cask strength of 50.8%. It is the kind of Bowmore where the cask story and the age statement immediately set the tone.
The supplied flavour profile points towards fruit and spice as the main accents, with wood and peat playing a more restrained supporting role. That makes the style particularly interesting within the Islay context: the peat is present, but it is not the dominant feature. The port maturation gives the whisky its fruit-driven and spiced direction.

It also closes the In the Wake of Silence series within the Itinîraires collection, giving this release the feel of a final chapter rather than a standalone bottling.
The sherry finish is described as a meeting point between Japan and Andalusia. That idea comes through in the whisky's sense of maturity, its refined classicism and the precise way its aromatic notes are presented. The reference to shimmering orange tones fits naturally with the bitter orange, candied apricot and dried fruit found in the tasting notes.

There is also a clear sense of scarcity around this release. Marked as a collector's item and listed among the last bottles, it is not presented as an everyday pour, but as a whisky to consider for its specific release, age and place within the Bruichladdich line-up.

Glendronach 1995 18 Year Old stands out because of its vintage. The supplied information describes 1995 as one of the least available Glendronach vintages so far, giving this single malt a more specific identity than a standard aged sherry cask release.
This is a single cask selected by The Whisky Agency and bottled at cask strength, 52.2%.
