Bowmore 1992 24y (Wemyss Single Cask)
Very last one in stock!
Bowmore 1992 24y is a mature Islay single malt with a very focused story behind it. Distilled in 1992 and bottled by Wemyss on 3 November 2016, it spent 24 years maturing before being released as part of the Wemyss Single Cask range.
What makes this bottle stand out is the single hogshead origin. Rather than representing a wider batch, it captures the personality of one individual cask, bottled at cask strength at 54.4%. Only 250 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now available, it sits at Drankenshop Broekmans as one of those releases for drinkers who appreciate rarity with a clear whisky identity.
The character is firmly shaped by Islay cues: peat, salinity and spice are the main threads, with lighter fruity and floral accents adding some (…)Elements Of Islay Fireside

Elements Of Islay Fireside
In stock
Elements of Islay Fireside is a limited release blended malt built from whisky from two characterful distilleries on Islay's north coast. Bottled at 54.5%, it has the kind of presence that suits its name: direct, warming and firmly rooted in a smoky Islay style.
The inspiration behind Fireside is wonderfully specific. Elements of Islay describes it as a smoky dram by the fire with friends, after a heavy downpour on Islay. Outside, the wind moves past the windows and rain hits the tin roof; inside, there is warmth, smoke and the feeling of having escaped the elements. That image carries through into the whisky itself.
Maturation in heavily re-charred hogsheads, American oak Oloroso sherry hogsheads and European oak Oloroso sherry butts gives this release its (…)Waterford Lacken 1.1 Peated

Waterford Lacken 1.1 Peated
On request only
Waterford Lacken 1.1 Peated brings a noticeably smoky side to Waterford's Irish single malt range. The brand has built its name around a wide spread of different bottlings, but this peated line speaks more directly to drinkers who enjoy peat as a central part of the whisky's identity. Lacken 1.1 sits at 57 ppm, following the likes of Fenniscourt 1.1 and Ballybannon 1.1, with Woodbrook 1.1 named as the even more heavily peated release.
The appeal here is that the peat is not treated as a small background detail. Bottled at 50% ABV, as stated for this series, Lacken 1.1 carries a firm, saline and smoky profile with enough energy to feel lively rather than heavy.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Irish single malt that naturally starts a conversation (…)Waterford Ballybannon 1.1 Peated

Waterford Ballybannon 1.1 Peated
On request only
Waterford Ballybannon 1.1 Peated is an Irish single malt whiskey with peat smoke placed firmly at the centre of its identity. Bottled at 50%, it has a naturally assertive presence, built around smoke and spice rather than gentle sweetness or overt oak influence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this stands out as a Waterford release for drinkers curious about a more peated side of Irish single malt. The flavour profile points to clear peat and spice, supported by lighter fruity, floral and salty touches. Wood is not the dominant voice here, so the focus stays on the smoky, spicy line of the whiskey.
With only the last bottles remaining, Ballybannon 1.1 Peated feels like a specific Waterford release to discover while it is still on the shelf.

Caisteal Chamuis Peated

Caisteal Chamuis Peated is a Scottish blended malt with a clear sense of direction: peat is central, supported by a pronounced spicy side. Bottled at 46% and released without an age statement, it is presented more through style and flavour character than through a specific maturation age.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits in the range as a smoky whisky with more going on than peat alone. The profile points to a clear combination of smoke and spice, with lighter fruity, floral and salty touches around it. Oak does not appear to be the main driver here, so the focus stays on peat, seasoning and fresher accents.
It is easy to understand why this Caisteal Chamuis Peated has found an audience among drinkers looking for a Scottish peated malt with a direct, (…)Laphroaig 10y Cask Strength Batch 15

Laphroaig 10y Cask Strength Batch 15

Laphroaig 10y Cask Strength Batch 15 presents Islay single malt in a particularly direct form: ten years old, bottled at cask strength and carrying a substantial 56.5% alcohol. It is a version that keeps closer to the strength of the cask rather than being softened into a gentler standard bottling.
Bourbon cask maturation provides the setting, but the main impression is shaped by the clearly present Islay elements: peat, saltiness and spice take the lead, with a lighter fruit note sitting behind them. Batch 15 is therefore a whisky with real presence, built around intensity rather than restraint.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this release is the kind of bottle we place in front of customers looking for Laphroaig with extra force and definition. With only the last (…)Port Charlotte 10y

Temporarily sold out
Port Charlotte 10y is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a firmly defined personality. Its centre of gravity lies in peat, salt and spice, giving it a direct island character rather than a soft or fruit-led style.
Ten years of maturation provide maturity, while the 50% strength gives the whisky extra presence in the glass. The emphasis is not on overt wood or fruit influence, but on a more focused profile where peat, coastal salinity and spice carry the experience.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits comfortably among the more characterful Islay single malts. It is the kind of whisky we would introduce to someone looking for a clear, confident expression of the island's peated style.
The flavour profile is led by peat, salinity and spice. A (…)Caol Ila 2008 13y Tasttoe (The Whisky Jury)

Caol Ila 2008 13y Tasttoe is a focused single malt from Islay, drawn from one individual cask rather than a broad vatting. Distilled in October 2008 and bottled in March 2022, it carries a 13-year age statement and has been bottled at cask strength, giving the whisky a direct and unpolished sense of presence at 55%.
The sherry finish adds another layer to the whisky, while the Islay side remains clearly in view. Peat smoke, salinity and spice are the main threads here, supported more gently by fruit, floral touches and wood. It is a bottling that speaks more about a particular cask than about a standardised expression.

Elements Of Islay Beach Bonfire
On request only
Elements of Islay Beach Bonfire is a limited edition blended malt built around a very vivid idea: a bonfire burning on an Islay beach. The name is more than a label here. It points straight to the whisky's personality, with smoke, sand, warmth and spice shaping the experience from the start. It brings together malt whisky from two characterful Islay distilleries and is bottled at cask strength, at 54.5% ABV.
The composition draws on New Oak, Bourbon, Refill and Sherry casks, giving the blend several different angles to work with. There is smoke with a glowing ember feel, a salty edge, clear spice and a lighter fruit note beneath it all. It is a powerful Islay blended malt, with the supplier description pointing to bonfire cinder smoke and a sweetly spiced finish.

Ledaig 1995 26y Tb (Thompson Brothers)

Ledaig 1995 26y Tb is a Scottish single malt from Mull with a very focused identity: one cask, long maturation and a clearly coastal-peated profile. Distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2022, it carries 26 years of development without feeling like a broad, standard release. It is the kind of whisky that speaks through the individuality of a single cask.
That single cask element is central here. Rather than blending several casks into a wider style, this bottling captures one specific maturation path, with peat, salt and spice forming the most prominent parts of its profile. Fruit, floral touches and oak sit more in the background, adding support rather than taking over. Bottled at cask strength at 45%, it remains close to the form in which the cask presented itself.

Mister Peat (Rest & Be Thankful)

Mister Peat is very clear about its intentions. This Scottish single malt from the Lowland region puts peat at the centre of the glass, with a style that is openly smoky rather than politely restrained. The peat comes through in vegetal, earthy and ashy tones.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would introduce to someone looking for a direct peated character with a clean presentation. It is bottled at 46%, without chill filtration and without added colouring, allowing its citrus and iodine notes to sit naturally alongside the smoke.
Although matured in American Oak, the story here is not driven by heavy wood influence. The focus remains on peat, salinity and spice, lifted by a touch of fruitiness. Mister Peat is a straightforward, (…)Ardbeg Ardcore - Ardbeg Day 2022

Ardbeg Ardcore is an Islay single malt tied to Ardbeg Day 2022, and that gives it a different feel from a regular core-range bottle. It belongs to a particular moment in the Ardbeg calendar. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out all the more because we are now down to the last bottles.
Bottled at 46% and released without an age statement, Ardcore is not presented around age as its main message. The supplied profile points instead to a clear Islay direction: peat smoke and a salty edge form the main impression, with lighter fruit, spice and floral elements in the background. Oak cask maturation is noted, but the profile does not place wood at the centre of the experience.

Bowmore 11y is an Islay single malt from Scotland with a clear island signature, though it is not built on peat alone. Its 11 years of maturation in bourbon and sherry casks give it a layered frame: peat and spice are the leading elements, while lighter fruity, floral and gently salty touches add detail around them.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Bowmore sits well among Islay whiskies for drinkers who enjoy smoke and spice but do not necessarily want a heavily wood-driven dram. The flavour profile points away from dominant oak and more towards the interaction between peat, seasoning and subtle supporting notes.
Bottled at 40% alcohol, Bowmore 11y keeps its strength measured while still showing a recognisable Islay identity. It is a single malt with enough (…)Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 13

The maturation brings together bourbon and sherry casks, giving Batch 13 more than smoke alone. Sweetness, spice and peat sit close together, with the cask influence adding depth while leaving the smoky Campbeltown identity clearly in view.

Longrow 100 Proof 2026 is a Campbeltown single malt bottled at a robust 57.1%, with peat smoke clearly at the heart of its identity. The strength matters here, but the more interesting part is how that power is shaped by aromatic depth, creamy sweetness and a thread of fruit.
The Pinot Noir cask influence gives this release its particular twist. It adds depth to the smoky Longrow style, bringing medicinal notes, red-fruit accents and a sweeter, more layered finish. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce when someone is looking for a peated whisky with more going on than smoke alone.

Expected: 01/11/2026Machrie Moor 10 Y is an important expression in Arran's peated whisky story. Machrie Moor first appeared in 2010 as Arran's first peated whisky, and this release gives the range its first age-stated reference: at least 10 years old, with the familiar 20 ppm peat level.
It matured entirely in first fill bourbon barrels and was bottled at 46%, with natural colour and without chill filtration. That keeps a clear connection to Arran's fresh house style, while adding the spiced, smoky side that defines Machrie Moor.
