Aberfeldy 45y

On request only

Aberfeldy 45y is a Highland single malt Scotch where the age statement immediately sets the tone. Forty-five years is more than a number on the label; it is the defining element of the whisky, pointing to a long period of maturation in which time itself becomes part of the story.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, old single malts like this occupy a very particular corner of the whisky selection. They are not about loud presentation or obvious strength, but about provenance, patience and the quiet fascination of a whisky that has spent decades developing before bottling.

Bottled at 41.6% ABV, this Aberfeldy keeps its strength measured. The focus here is not sheer power, but the maturity and Highland origin that make a 45-year-old single malt such a contemplative (…)

Littlemill 1988 35y (The Whisky Agency)

Very last one in stock!

Littlemill 1988 35y is a Scottish Lowland Single Malt built around a long, clearly defined maturation story. Distilled in 1988 and aged for 35 years, it is a whisky where the vintage and the passage of time are central to its identity.

The hogshead cask type gives the maturation a more specific frame, while the bottling strength of 50.7% keeps the presentation firm and direct. No detailed tasting notes are supplied in the available information, so the emphasis here remains on the confirmed essentials: Littlemill, Lowland origin, 1988 distillation and 35 years of age.

Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that draws attention from customers looking for older Scottish single malt with a clearly stated distillation year. As (…)

Glenfiddich Rare Cask 1978 Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Glenfiddich Rare Cask 1978 is a Speyside whisky with a very precise identity. It was distilled on 15 September 1978 and bottled on 1 October 2016, after 38 years of maturation. Drawn from a single American Oak cask and bottled at cask strength, it sits at 56.3% ABV.

The appeal here lies in the narrowness of the release. Just 159 bottles came from this one cask, and the remaining bottles now underline how scarce this bottling has become. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as a Glenfiddich for people who appreciate provenance as much as age: one cask, one vintage, one clearly defined chapter.

Rather than presenting a broad house style, this Rare Cask captures a specific maturation in a specific piece of wood over a long period of time. That is what gives (…)

Glen Grant 1998 25y (The Whisky Agency)

Very last one in stock!

Glen Grant 1998 25y is a Speyside single malt built around the individuality of one cask. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2022, it brings together 25 years of maturation and a very specific snapshot of Glen Grant from that period.

Drawn from a single hogshead and bottled at cask strength at 50.4%, this is not a broad house-style release assembled for consistency. It is a whisky shaped by one individual cask. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for exactly that reason: they give curious whisky drinkers something more particular to explore.

With only the last bottles remaining, the sense of scarcity is natural rather than overstated. A single cask is limited by definition, and this Glen Grant 1998 cannot be repeated once those bottles are (…)

Glen Keith 1994 29y (The Whisky Agency)

Very last one in stock!

Glen Keith 1994 29y is a Speyside single malt with a very clear sense of time and place. Distilled in 1994 and matured for 29 years, it is a whisky defined less by broad category language and more by the specific path it has taken through maturation.

The Bourbon Barrel reference gives the release its cask framework, while the 54.1% strength points to a whisky with real presence in the glass. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Glen Keith we would introduce slowly: an older Scottish malt where vintage, age and cask type are central to the conversation.

With only the last bottles remaining, availability is naturally limited. That matters here because a 29-year-old Glen Keith from the 1994 distillation year is not something that can simply be (…)

Girvan 1979 42y (Douglas Laing) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Girvan 1979 42y is a Scotch whisky from the Lowland region with an impressively long maturation behind it. The 1979 distillation year and 42-year age statement immediately set the scene: this is a bottle defined by time.

The appeal here lies in the combination of age, origin and strength. At 51% alcohol, it is presented with real presence, while the available information does not specify cask type or detailed flavour direction. That keeps the focus firmly on the rarity of an old Girvan distilled in 1979.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a whisky like this sits in the part of the range meant for customers who look for older Scottish bottlings with a clear vintage identity. With only the last bottles remaining, it is also a release that feels increasingly scarce (…)

Caperdonich 2000 21y Sv Nectar (Signatory - Cask Collection) Tube Incl.

In stock

Caperdonich 2000 21y SV Nectar is a Speyside single malt with a quietly limited nature. The Caperdonich name already gives it a certain pull for whisky drinkers, and this release adds to that with a single cask origin and a total outturn of just 223 bottles.

Bottled by Signatory for the Cask Collection, it comes at cask strength: 56.2%. After 21 years in a hogshead, the whisky is presented as a direct expression of one individual cask rather than as part of a broader house style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this is valued for that precise combination of age, Speyside origin and limited availability. With only the last bottles remaining, it speaks to those who enjoy discovering a sharply defined single malt release rather than a standard ongoing (…)

Glengoyne 18y

In stock

Glengoyne 18y is a Highland single malt with the calm depth that comes from time. Eighteen years in oak casks, with a generous share of Oloroso sherry casks, gives it a full, rounded and rich style built around ripe fruit and gentle warmth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we like to introduce when someone is looking for maturity without losing elegance. The fruit is clearly present, supported by notes of marzipan, walnuts and cocoa, while the oak brings structure rather than dominance.

Bottled at 43%, it remains approachable in strength but still has enough weight and length to feel properly contemplative. The long, warm and dry finish makes it a rewarding dram for quiet sipping.

The aroma opens with rounded fruit, led by (…)

Balblair 2012 12y Am 143

Temporarily sold out
Expected: 07/11/2026

Balblair 2012 12 Year Old AM143 is very much a whisky built around one individual cask. Selected by Asta Morris, this Highland Single Malt from Balblair Distillery was distilled in November 2012 and bottled in February 2025 after 12 years of maturation. It comes from cask AM143, received a sherry cask finish and was bottled at 51% ABV.

Only 153 bottles were released, so this is not a broad house-style bottling but a narrow, cask-specific snapshot of Balblair through the lens of Asta Morris. That fits the bottler's philosophy well: selecting casks with character and allowing them to speak as authentically as possible.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this release sits naturally among the more distinctive limited whiskies: a single cask Balblair with sherry influence, (…)

Aultmore 1990 32y (The Whisky Agency)

Only 2 left in stock!

Aultmore 1990 32y is the kind of whisky where the interest lies in its exact origin. This Speyside single malt was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2023 after 32 years of maturation. It comes from one single Bourbon Barrel, so the bottle reflects one individual cask rather than a broader vatting.

Bottled at cask strength at 44.9%, it stays close to that single maturation. The long age, the 1990 distillation date and the single cask nature all point in the same direction: a very specific piece of Aultmore, captured after more than three decades.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are appreciated for their clarity of provenance and their limited character. With the last bottles now available, this Aultmore feels like a quiet but meaningful find for (…)

Irish Single Malt 2002 20y (The Whisky Agency)

In stock

Irish Single Malt 2002 20y is a bottling where the appeal lies in its clear identity: Irish single malt, distilled in 2002, matured for twenty years and released by The Whisky Agency at 49.2% ABV.

The Bourbon Barrel reference gives the whisky its maturation context, while the available data does not provide detailed aroma or flavour notes. What stands out most is the combination of Irish origin, vintage distillation year and significant age.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits comfortably among bottles for drinkers who enjoy looking beyond standard releases and exploring more specific selections. The last bottles indication also tells us that availability is now limited.

No separate tasting notes are supplied for this bottling. The available (…)

Glenrothes 1985 37y (The Whisky Agency)

Very last one in stock!

Glenrothes 1985 37y is a Speyside single malt where time is the central part of the story. Distilled in 1985 and aged for 37 years, it represents a clearly defined chapter in the life of Glenrothes rather than a standard everyday release.

The hogshead maturation gives the whisky a precise cask context, while the 43.4% alcohol strength keeps the presentation measured on paper. What stands out most is the combination of Glenrothes, Speyside origin, long maturation and a vintage that takes the drinker back to 1985.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle sits comfortably among whiskies chosen for customers who appreciate older Scottish single malts with a strong sense of origin and date. With only the last bottles remaining, it is also a release that should be (…)

Balblair 1969

Very last one in stock!

Balblair 1969 is a whisky where the date immediately matters. Distilled in 1969 and aged for 43 years, it carries the kind of Highland Scotch identity that is defined as much by time as by origin.

Only 999 bottles were released, and the bottle is identified as a collector's item. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are approached with a certain respect: not as everyday whiskies, but as carefully defined bottlings with a clear vintage, age and limited availability.

The fact that only the last bottles are indicated adds to that sense of scarcity. For someone drawn to Balblair with a strong vintage statement, this is a bottle where the story around the whisky is an essential part of its appeal.

Knappogue Castle 1996 25y (La Maison Du Whisky - Ex Libris)

In stock

Knappogue Castle 1996 25y is an Irish single malt whiskey with a very focused release story. Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2021, it spent 25 years maturing before being bottled by La Maison du Whisky for the Ex Libris series.

The appeal here lies in its precision: one Bourbon Barrel, bottled at natural cask strength of 53.1%, with only 200 bottles drawn from the cask. Rather than a broad regular release, this is a tightly defined expression of a single cask after a long period of maturation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are selected for customers who look beyond category and age statement alone. Here, the vintage, the single cask origin, the limited outturn and the collector's interest all come together. The fact that these are the last (…)

Teeling 30y

Very last one in stock!

Teeling 30y is the kind of Irish single malt where age is more than a number; it is the foundation of the whole whisky. This Vintage Reserve is among the oldest Irish single malts ever brought to market. Distilled in 1987 and released in a run of barely 500 bottles, it has the quiet rarity that comes with a whisky made in very small numbers.

The maturation gives it much of its identity. It was first aged in bourbon casks, then given additional time in white Burgundy wine casks to build greater aromatic complexity. That places tropical fruit at the centre, supported by malt, wood and a gentle touch of spice. Selected by the master distiller for its exceptional quality, it shows a mature Irish single malt style without peat or smoky weight.

Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2021

In stock

Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2021 is a Japanese blended whisky with a distinctly elegant idea behind it. Rather than presenting itself through an age statement, it draws attention to style, composition and the Sakura Cask influence that gives this 2021 release its own identity.

The character sits around floral, fruity and woody tones, with a lighter touch of spice in support. There is no peat-driven or salty profile here; the emphasis is on a more refined side of Japanese blending, bottled at 43% alcohol.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we regard this as one of those Hibiki releases that speaks to customers looking for something more special than a regular shelf bottle. Its collector's item status and the fact that these are last bottles point to a whisky that has become (…)

Benriach The 25 Incl. Box

In stock

Benriach The 25 is a 25-year-old Speyside single malt bottled at 46%. That already sets the tone: this is a mature Benriach, shaped by long ageing rather than by youthful immediacy.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, it sits comfortably among the more mature Scottish single malts for drinkers who appreciate a fruit-led style. The supplied profile places fruit at the heart of the whisky, supported by a clear wood influence and lighter touches of spice and floral character. Peat and salinity do not define this expression.

Its appeal lies in that composed maturity. The age statement gives it depth and presence, while the 46% strength keeps the whisky expressive without turning the story into one of sheer power.

Glenmorangie 1996

Very last one in stock!

Glenmorangie 1996 is the kind of Highland whisky where the year immediately matters. Distilled in 1996 and bottled at 23 years of age, it is tied to a clearly defined point in time rather than simply presented as another aged whisky.

Matured in oak casks and released in a run of 10,150 bottles, it has the feel of a defined edition rather than an open-ended expression. With the last bottles now remaining, it holds a more particular place in the Highland whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans.

At 43% alcohol, the presentation stays measured and classic. Its interest lies in the combination of the Glenmorangie name, the 1996 distillation year and 23 years of maturation: a whisky chosen for provenance, age and a calm sense of maturity.

Dailuaine 2015 10y (Adelphi)

On request only

Dailuaine 2015 10y is a Speyside single malt with a generous, malty core and a clear emphasis on ripe fruit. Bottled at cask strength, 58%, it keeps a firm presence in the glass while still showing the roundness that comes from maturation.

The refill PX hogshead plays an important role here. It adds sweetness, depth and fruit-driven warmth, but it does not cover the distillery character. That balance between malt structure and gentle sherry influence is what makes this Dailuaine particularly engaging.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would point out to someone looking for a powerful Speyside with body, softness and a fruit-rich profile. With only the last bottles remaining, it is also a release to discover while it is still within (…)

Mannochmore 2013 12y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)

On request only

Mannochmore can be especially rewarding when it is presented in a clean, distillate-led way, and this 12-year-old 2013 release does exactly that. Bottled by Cadenhead as part of the Original Collection, it highlights the fruity and floral side of this Speyside single malt with a fresh, lively feel.

Maturation took place solely in bourbon hogsheads, giving the whisky room to show its brightness while adding gentle wood influence and a touch of spice. At 46%, it has enough presence in the glass without moving away from its elegant, approachable style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like for customers who enjoy discovering independent Speyside whiskies beyond the most familiar labels. With the final bottles now available, it is also a (…)

Matured in a hogshead and bottled at cask strength, 55.2%, it has been presented in a direct and undiluted style. The focus remains on the long maturation, the influence of the cask and the mature spirit itself.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Littlemill stands out through the combination of considerable age, single cask origin and limited remaining availability. With only the last bottles left, it has the quiet appeal of a release that will not remain easy to revisit.

Ben Nevis 28y Macb (Elixir Distillers - Macbeth Series)

On request only

Ben Nevis 28y Macb belongs to Elixir Distillers' Macbeth Collection, a series of 42 Scottish whiskies named after characters from Shakespeare's tragedy. This release represents Ross: intelligent, experienced and sharp enough to understand where power is moving before others do.

That idea is reflected in the choice of whisky. A 28-year-old Ben Nevis from refill hogsheads brings maturity without losing the distillery character described in the product information. The continued use of brewer's yeasts in production is linked here to weight and body, while fresh fruit notes give the whisky energy beside its age and depth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce with a little context, because the concept and the whisky strengthen (…)
