Glenfiddich Rare Cask 1978 Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Glenfiddich Rare Cask 1978 is a Speyside whisky with a very precise identity. It was distilled on 15 September 1978 and bottled on 1 October 2016, after 38 years of maturation. Drawn from a single American Oak cask and bottled at cask strength, it sits at 56.3% ABV.

The appeal here lies in the narrowness of the release. Just 159 bottles came from this one cask, and the remaining bottles now underline how scarce this bottling has become. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as a Glenfiddich for people who appreciate provenance as much as age: one cask, one vintage, one clearly defined chapter.

Rather than presenting a broad house style, this Rare Cask captures a specific maturation in a specific piece of wood over a long period of time. That is what gives (…)

Glenrothes 1985 37y (The Whisky Agency)

Very last one in stock!

Glenrothes 1985 37y is a Speyside single malt where time is the central part of the story. Distilled in 1985 and aged for 37 years, it represents a clearly defined chapter in the life of Glenrothes rather than a standard everyday release.

The hogshead maturation gives the whisky a precise cask context, while the 43.4% alcohol strength keeps the presentation measured on paper. What stands out most is the combination of Glenrothes, Speyside origin, long maturation and a vintage that takes the drinker back to 1985.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle sits comfortably among whiskies chosen for customers who appreciate older Scottish single malts with a strong sense of origin and date. With only the last bottles remaining, it is also a release that should be (…)

Balblair 1969

Very last one in stock!

Balblair 1969 is a whisky where the date immediately matters. Distilled in 1969 and aged for 43 years, it carries the kind of Highland Scotch identity that is defined as much by time as by origin.

Only 999 bottles were released, and the bottle is identified as a collector's item. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are approached with a certain respect: not as everyday whiskies, but as carefully defined bottlings with a clear vintage, age and limited availability.

The fact that only the last bottles are indicated adds to that sense of scarcity. For someone drawn to Balblair with a strong vintage statement, this is a bottle where the story around the whisky is an essential part of its appeal.

Knappogue Castle 1994 (La Maison Du Whisky - Ex Libris) Incl. Box

In stock

Knappogue Castle 1994 is an Irish single malt with the kind of story that immediately gives it focus. Distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2022, it spent 28 years maturing in a bourbon barrel. Rather than a broad house style, this is the character of one individual cask at one specific point in time.

La Maison du Whisky bottled it for the Ex Libris series at cask strength, 52.2% ABV. Only 172 bottles were drawn, and these are the last bottles available. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued for exactly that reason: they give whisky drinkers access to a narrowly defined, limited snapshot of maturation.

The supplied flavour profile places fruit at the centre, supported by clear floral, woody and spicy dimensions. Peat and salinity are not part of (…)

Balmenach 1989 32y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

In stock

Balmenach 1989 32y is the kind of Speyside single malt where time is the central element. Distilled in April 1989 and bottled in July 2021, it spent 32 years maturing before The Nectar released it as part of the Daily Dram series.

Drawn from a single hogshead and bottled at cask strength at 44.6%, this is a very specific snapshot of one individual cask. Only 298 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now remaining, its limited nature is part of the experience without needing to be overstated.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Balmenach as a thoughtful choice among mature independent bottlings: a whisky for those who appreciate long ageing, single cask individuality and a Speyside profile led by fruit, with floral tones, wood influence and spice (…)

Teeling 32y

Only 3 left in stock!

Teeling 32y is an Irish single malt with a story built around time, scarcity and a distinctive maturation path. Distilled in 1988 and matured for 32 years, it belongs to a much more selective side of Irish whiskey. With only 750 bottles released, it feels clearly removed from everyday bottlings and speaks to a very specific moment in maturation.

The Rum Matured cask reference is an important part of its identity. Based on the supplied profile, fruit is the leading element, supported by floral, woody and spicy notes. That gives the whiskey a sense of mature depth without making the wood the only point of interest.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that attracts attention through quiet detail rather than loud presentation: an aged (…)

Knappogue Castle 1994 27y is an Irish single malt with a very particular story. Distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2021, it combines 27 years of maturation with the individuality of a single bourbon barrel. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one cask at one point in time.

Bottled by La Maison du Whisky for the Ex Libris series, it was released at cask strength, 50.3% ABV. With only 175 bottles drawn from the cask, and now marked as last bottles, this is a scarce release with a naturally limited presence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who appreciate Irish single malt in a more focused form: mature, cask strength, single cask and shaped by a bourbon barrel. The profile is led by fruit, with floral, woody and (…)

Glenburgie 1988 35y (The Whisky Agency)

Very last one in stock!

Glenburgie 1988 35y is a Scottish single malt from Speyside where the focus is firmly on age, origin and vintage. Distilled in 1988 and matured for 35 years, it captures a clearly defined chapter from Glenburgie's past.

The whisky was matured in a hogshead and bottled at 42.6% ABV. The available details are restrained, yet they say a great deal: this is a long-aged single malt made for unhurried tasting, where the significance lies in time rather than presentation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for their clarity and maturity. With only the last bottles remaining, availability of this Glenburgie 1988 35y is naturally limited.

Glenrothes 31y (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland Marriage)

In stock

Glenrothes 31y is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland as part of the Marriage series. At 31 years old, it is a whisky where maturation time is central to the identity of the release, presented outside the framework of a standard distillery bottling.

It is bottled at cask strength, 53.2%, giving the whisky a direct and undiluted presentation. That makes it a bottle to approach slowly, either neat or with careful additions of water according to preference.

In the Drankenshop Broekmans selection, this Glenrothes stands out through its age, independent bottling background and limited availability. With 560 bottles produced and only the last bottles remaining, it is a release with a clearly finite character.

Glen Garioch 2013 11y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)

On request only

Glen Garioch 2013 11 Year Old is a Highland single malt with a clear emphasis on fruit, creamy sweetness and gentle spice. Bottled by Cadenhead for the Original Collection, it brings together maturation in ex-bourbon casks and ex-fino casks, giving this release its layered but approachable style.

Glen Garioch, pronounced Glen Geery, is rooted in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, and dates back to 1797. Its history includes periods of closure and reopening, yet the focus here is very much on the whisky in the glass: an 11-year-old expression that shows freshness, fruit and cask influence without any peated character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottling stands out as a good example of how an independent release can present a familiar Highland name from a slightly (…)

Teeling 32y Very Rare Casks Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Teeling 32y Very Rare Casks is a rare Irish single malt with real presence. Part of Teeling's Very Rare Cask Collection, it was drawn from a single cask and bottled at cask strength, 51.4%. With only 198 bottles released, and now down to the last bottles, this is a highly limited expression.

The whisky matured in an ex-bourbon cask before receiving a finish in an ex-Rivesaltes cask, linked to French dessert wine. That extra layer suits its fruit-led profile well: dried fruit sits at the heart of the whisky, with wood, spice and floral notes giving it further shape.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that tells a very specific story: not simply an old Irish whiskey, but a 32-year-old single cask from Teeling presented in a decanter and (…)

Glengoyne 21y Incl. Box

Glengoyne 21y is a Highland Single Malt shaped by age and sherry cask maturation. After 21 years, it shows a mature, warming style, with its exclusive sherry cask ageing steering the whisky toward rich fruit, honey and gentle spice.

The distillery's own description of Christmas cake in a whisky glass captures the mood well. There is a generous, rounded quality here, supported by ripe fruit, oak and a cinnamon lift on the finish. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Glengoyne as a fine choice for drinkers who enjoy an older Scotch single malt built around fruit, spice and wood rather than peat smoke.

At 43% alcohol, it remains composed and approachable, but the flavour has plenty of depth. This is a whisky to take your time with: warm, mature and long on the (…)

Very last one in stock!

Imperial 1995 30y is a Speyside single malt bottled by Signatory as part of the Signatory Vintage Symington's Choice series. Rather than a broad vatting, this release comes from a single hogshead cask, giving it the feel of one specific cask captured after three decades of maturation.

Bottled at 56.9%, it retains its cask strength presence. The available tasting information points towards warm honey, stewed apple and dry herbs, with fruit as the main thread and wood, spice and floral tones adding structure around it.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would place in front of someone looking for an older Speyside with a clear sense of origin and cask identity. With only the last bottles remaining, this single cask release naturally feels (…)

Rosebank 1990 30y Release 1

Last one in stock!

Rosebank 1990 30y Release 1 carries a strong sense of distillery history. This Lowland single malt was distilled in 1990, before the distillery's closure, and matured for thirty years before being bottled at 48.6%.

Its maturation brings together bourbon casks with a sherry or dessert-wine influence, adding depth while keeping the refined, elegant nature described in the tasting notes. Fruit sits at the heart of the whisky, with floral tones, spice and wood adding structure around it.

Limited to 4,350 bottles and marked as a collector's item, this first 30-year-old Rosebank release has a very special place in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection. Its interest lies in its age, its origin and its rare Lowland finesse rather than in sheer power.

Glenturret 25y 2025 Incl. Box

On request only

Glenturret 25y 2025 is a Highland single malt where age is central to the experience. Twenty-five years of maturation give it a clearly mature style, built around wood spice and rich dried fruit, yet the supplied profile does not describe it as overly heavy. Tropical fruit and sweeter vanilla notes bring lift and contrast.

The release was drawn from spirit matured in three sherry casks. European oak contributes the deeper side, with dried fruit and seasoned wood, while American oak adds lighter fruit tones and vanilla. That combination gives the whisky its shape: mature, sherry-influenced and layered, but not pushed into excess.

With only 210 bottles worldwide, bottled at cask strength at 40.9%, natural in colour and non chill-filtered, this is a very small (…)

Glenglassaugh The Serpentine 48y

Temporarily sold out

Glenglassaugh The Serpentine 48y is not a whisky to rush. It comes from cask 1863, an Aleatico red wine cask, and was bottled at 46.1% after 48 years of ageing. That combination of significant age and a very specific wine cask gives this Speyside single malt a clear identity of its own.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we introduce as a rare and considered release rather than a whisky for everyday pouring. With only the last bottles remaining, its scarcity is part of the story, but the real interest lies in the mature fruit-driven character described in the tasting notes.

The Serpentine shows Glenglassaugh in a ripe, layered style, with dark berries, exotic fruit and a fine saline touch. It is a whisky for slow tasting, where the details (…)

Teeling Rising 2 Marsala 21y 46_

On request only

Teeling Rising Reserve N°2 shows the more mature, cask-driven side of Irish single malt. This 21-year-old whiskey spent more than 18 years in ex-Bourbon casks before moving for a further 3 years into high-quality ex-Marsala casks. That is long enough for the Marsala influence to become part of the whiskey's identity rather than just a brief finishing touch.

The maturation story is very much reflected in its style. The ex-Bourbon years bring sweetness and age, while the Marsala period adds red fruit, gentle spice and a fresh citrus accent. Fruit, wood, spice and floral notes all sit clearly within the profile, giving the whiskey a layered but composed character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are especially interesting because they show how (…)

Nikka The Nikka Limited Incl. Box

Nikka The Nikka Limited is a blended whisky built around the craft of blending itself. It was created through the collaboration of Hiromi Osaki, master blender at Nikka Whisky, and his successor Junji Iseki. Rather than simply bringing casks together, this release feels composed with patience, precision and a clear sense of legacy.

The blend includes a 1989 Yoichi distillate and a 1979 Miyagikyo distillate, both matured in mizunara oak, alongside selected Ben Nevis casks from the 1980s. Those elements give the whisky its depth: mature wood tones, gentle peat influence and layered richness, all held together in a refined Japanese blending style.

Dalmore Vintage 2003 Incl. Box

In stock

Dalmore Vintage 2003 is an 18-year-old Highland single malt shaped by a carefully layered maturation. It begins in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak, before being moved into rare Matusalem and Amoroso sherry casks, Rivesaltes wine casks and small-batch bourbon casks.

That sequence of casks is the heart of this release. The bourbon maturation gives the whisky its foundation, while the sherry and wine casks add a sweeter, spicier and more warming dimension. It is the kind of Dalmore that feels especially fitting when a dram may be a little richer and more contemplative.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this vintage as a thoughtful choice for drinkers who enjoy a Highland single malt with clear cask influence, where wood, fruit, floral notes and (…)

Compass Box Great King Street Sherry 50cl

In stock

Compass Box Great King Street Sherry is a Scottish whisky bottled at 43% in a 50cl format. Although this is the Sherry edition within the Great King Street name, the tasting notes point to a whisky that remains lively and detailed rather than heavy: malty, gently spiced, citrus-led and notably floral.

With only 3439 bottles produced, and with these being the last bottles, it naturally stands out in the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans. It is the kind of Compass Box release that draws attention from drinkers who enjoy limited bottlings with a clearly defined identity.

Its appeal lies in the small details: vanilla, coconut, lemon, orange zest and grapefruit, followed by pear, cinnamon, wood and hazelnut. A whisky with refinement rather than force.

Fettercairn 15y Sd (Stalla Dhu)

Fettercairn 15y Sd is a Scottish Highland whisky with a clear 15-year age statement. That age gives the bottle its main point of interest: this is a whisky defined by time rather than by excessive presentation or a heavily built story.

At 46% alcohol, it has enough strength to feel purposeful, while still keeping the focus on its origin and maturation. In the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out for customers looking for a mature Highland whisky with a straightforward identity.

The fact that only the last bottles remain adds to its appeal in a quiet way. Fettercairn 15y Sd is not something we would describe as an endlessly available shelf standard, but as a 15-year-old Highland whisky that is gradually leaving the range.
