Ardmore 12y Macb (Elixir Distillers - Macbeth Series)

On request only

Ardmore 12y Macb belongs to Elixir Distillers' Macbeth Collection, a set of 42 Scottish whiskies named after characters from William Shakespeare's Macbeth. This Ardmore is presented as Seyton and appears in Act One, where the collection begins to unfold its theatrical cast of malts.

The whisky itself is a 12-year-old Highland single malt bottled at 52.5% cask strength. Its maturation in a mix of American and European oak casks that previously held Laphroaig whisky gives it a distinctly smoky, savoury and spicy direction. The peat is part of the personality here, supported by spice, a touch of fruit and a subtle wood influence.

Only 3200 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now remaining, this is the kind of limited Scotch whisky that naturally (…)

Compass Box Glasgow Blend

In stock

Compass Box Glasgow Blend is a Scottish blended whisky bottled at 43%, without an age statement. Rather than putting the focus on a stated number of years, it presents itself through the style and structure of the blend.

Its profile is driven by spice, supported by light fruit, gentle wood influence, a subtle salty edge and a modest peated note. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as the kind of Scotch blend that has enough character to hold your attention without becoming heavy-handed.

The multivintage indication points to a whisky built from different components rather than centred on a single vintage. That makes the composition itself the point of interest: a blend shaped around flavour, texture and balance.

Highland Park 2000 (Signatory - Cask Collection) Tube Incl.

On request only

Highland Park 2000 from Signatory is the kind of bottling where the appeal lies in its precision. This Orkney single malt was distilled on 24 August 2000 and bottled on 19 January 2016 at 15 years of age, released as part of Signatory's Cask Collection. It comes from a single cask and was bottled at cask strength, with an alcoholic strength of 56.1%.

The cask was a Bourbon Barrel, giving this release a clear sense of individuality rather than the broader profile of a larger batch. Only 194 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now available, it has become an increasingly scarce Highland Park selection. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for those who appreciate independent single cask releases with a very specific identity.

Isle Of Mull 18y Macb (Elixir Distillers - Macbeth Series)

On request only

Isle Of Mull 18y Macb comes from Elixir Distillers' Macbeth Collection, a series of 42 Scottish whiskies built around the characters of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. This release represents the First Murderer, one of the unnamed killers in the play. That anonymity is reflected in the bottle itself: the whisky was distilled on the island of Mull, while the distillery name remains undisclosed.

The island connection matters here. In the Macbeth Collection, the murderers are malts from the outer reaches of Scotland, and this 18-year-old single malt carries that setting with a firm sense of place. It matured in American oak and was bottled at cask strength, 50.5% ABV. With an outturn of 2100 bottles and the last bottles now in circulation, it has a naturally limited feel within (…)

Isle Of Raasay Core Release Incl. Box

In stock

Isle Of Raasay Core Release is a Scottish Islands single malt bottled at 46.4%. As the name suggests, this is Raasay's core release: a no-age-statement whisky built from multiple vintages rather than centred on one declared age.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, the interest here lies in the way the profile brings several island-style elements together without pushing one of them too far. Spice is the most clearly defined thread, supported by lighter fruit, gentle wood, a saline touch and a restrained peated note.

With 26,000 bottles, it feels like a broader official release while still carrying the particular identity of Raasay as a single malt from Scotland's Islands region. More information about the distillery can be found at https://www.raasaydistillery.com/

Bowmore 16y Ruby Port Finish Incl. Box

Last one in stock!

Bowmore 16y Ruby Port Finish brings together two defining elements: Bowmore's Islay origin and a finishing period in port casks. At 16 years old and bottled at 43%, it is presented as a single malt where maturation and cask influence matter more than sheer strength.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle sits comfortably among Scotch whiskies for drinkers who want to see Bowmore through a slightly richer cask lens. Spice is the clearest part of the profile, with fruit, wood, salinity and peat smoke playing a more restrained supporting role.

That makes the Ruby Port Finish angle especially meaningful: it adds another layer to the whisky without turning it away from its Islay identity. It is a Bowmore where the port finish is part of the story, not just a (…)

Mossburn Signature Island (Signature Cask Mossburn)

In stock

Mossburn Signature Island is a Scottish blended malt built around style rather than an age statement. As part of Mossburn's Signature Cask range, it carries an Island-focused identity and is bottled at 46% ABV.

Its main thread is spice, supported by gentler notes of wood, fruit, saltiness and peat. That gives the whisky a more distinctive shape than a very soft blended malt, while still keeping the individual elements in proportion.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking for a Scottish malt with a little edge and a subtle smoky side. With the last bottles now in stock, it is also a release with limited remaining availability.

Croftengea 2006 16y Tb (Thompson Brothers)

On request only

Croftengea 2006 16y Tb is a Highland single malt from Loch Lomond with a very clearly defined origin: distilled on 8 April 2006, matured for 16 years and bottled on 1 November 2022 from a single hogshead.

As a single cask release bottled at cask strength, it carries the imprint of one individual cask rather than a broader house composition. Only 479 bottles were drawn, and with the last bottles now in stock, it has a naturally limited place in the whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans.

The profile points towards a whisky where spice plays the leading role, supported by lighter wood influence and smaller touches of fruit, salinity and peat. At 50%, it has the presence one expects from a cask strength bottling, while still keeping the focus on the character (…)

Laphroaig 32y

Very last one in stock!

Laphroaig 32y is an Islay single malt defined by age, scarcity and a more contemplative side of the distillery's character. Matured in sherry casks and bottled at cask strength at 46.6%, it brings together long ageing with a presentation that keeps close to the cask.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are treated as more than regular shelf whiskies. With 5,880 bottles released, marked as a collector's item and now down to the last bottles, this Laphroaig sits in that rare space where maturity and limited availability become part of the appeal.

The flavour profile points to an Islay whisky where peat and salt are present without dominating the whole picture. Spice carries more weight, with lighter touches of fruit and wood shaped by the sherry (…)

Rock Island (Douglas Laing Regional Malts) Tube Incl.

Only 3 left in stock!

Rock Island belongs to Douglas Laing's Regional Malts range, a series built around the classic whisky regions of Scotland. Rather than focusing on one distillery, it brings together single malts in a blended malt that is meant to express a regional character with clarity and personality.

In this case, the setting is the Scottish islands. Malts from places such as Orkney, Arran, Jura and Islay shape a whisky with a maritime edge: salty waves, sweet earthy tones and a measured touch of peat and smoke. It feels more like a journey across island whisky than a portrait of one single place.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Rock Island is the kind of bottle we like to open the conversation with when someone is curious about island malt whisky. The Regional Malts series has (…)

Talisker Port Ruighe Incl. Box

| 1 review
In stock

Talisker Port Ruighe is a Scottish single malt from Skye with a port finish that gives it a distinct place within the Talisker range. The focus remains on spice, while the port cask influence adds another layer alongside gentle fruit, light wood, a salty touch and restrained peat.

That combination is what makes this whisky worth exploring. It does not move away from its island identity, but it frames it differently: the finish adds depth without covering the sharper, more savoury side of the whisky. At 45.8% ABV, it has enough strength to carry that character clearly.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Talisker Port Ruighe as a Skye single malt for drinkers who appreciate spice, coastal accents and a subtle smoky edge, with the port finish bringing an extra (…)

Starward Unexpeated

On request only

Starward Unexpeated is an Australian single malt with a deliberately unexpected twist. Rather than focusing on an age statement, it draws attention to its Islay finish, adding a light thread of peat and salinity to a whisky where spice remains the most pronounced element.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that shows how a finish can shift the tone of a single malt without turning it into something overwhelmingly smoky. The Islay influence is present, but measured, sitting alongside gentle fruit, wood and floral notes.

Bottled at 48%, it has enough strength to carry that character clearly. With only the last bottles remaining, this is a release with limited availability in our selection.

The English Whisky Company 12y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)

On request only

The English Whisky Company 12y is a fine example of how compelling single malt from Great Britain can be when given time to mature. Aged for 12 years in a bourbon barrel and bottled by Cadenhead as part of the Original Collection, it feels focused on the whisky itself rather than on decoration or spectacle.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out for the combination of an English single malt identity, independent bottling and a mature age statement. Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its profile, with spice as the clearest element and lighter traces of wood, fruit, floral notes, saltiness and gentle peat in support.

With the last bottles now in our selection, it is the kind of whisky that rewards a curious drinker looking beyond the most (…)

Connemara Distillers Edition Tube Incl.

In stock

Connemara Distillers Edition is an Irish single malt with a clearly smoky and spicy direction. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it presents itself through style: peat, oak cask maturation and a flavour profile with real presence.

The oak cask influence supports the whiskey without making wood the whole story. Peated smoke and spice sit at the centre, with lighter touches of fruit and a subtle salty edge around them. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good choice for customers looking for an Irish single malt with more depth and smoky definition.

Bottled at 43%, Connemara Distillers Edition keeps a measured strength while still showing a distinct personality. Its appeal lies in that combination of Irish single malt character and a more (…)

Yoichi Single Malt + 2 Glasses Incl. Box

In stock

Yoichi Single Malt + 2 Glasses presents Japanese single malt in a set made for sharing. Bottled at 45% and carrying no age statement, it puts the focus on the whisky's style and composition rather than on a fixed number of years.

The character leans clearly towards spice, with lighter touches of fruit, gentle oak influence and a subtle peated edge. Maturation in oak cask gives the whisky its supporting structure without making the overall impression feel heavy.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of set that adds a little extra ritual to opening a bottle. The two glasses make it a thoughtful gift, but just as easily a bottle to enjoy at home with someone curious about Japanese single malt. With the last bottles now available, it is not a release (…)

Bowmore 14y Bordeaux Finish Incl. Box

In stock

Bowmore 14y Bordeaux Finish is built around a clear meeting point: Islay single malt on one side, a Bordeaux cask finish on the other. The whisky keeps its Scottish island identity, while the Bordeaux Finish adds another layer to a 14-year-old Bowmore.

What stands out here is the way the profile is shaped. Peat and a salty accent are present, but they do not take over completely. Spice has the stronger voice, with lighter touches of fruit, floral notes and wood sitting around it. That gives the whisky a more layered impression than a purely peat-driven Islay malt.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this kind of Bowmore as especially interesting for drinkers who enjoy Islay, yet want to explore what a wine cask finish can bring to a single malt. Bottled at 43%, (…)

Bowmore 15y Sherry Incl. Box

Only 3 left in stock!

Bowmore 15y Sherry shows a richer side of this Islay single malt. It spends 15 years maturing in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, followed by a sherry finish, giving it extra depth and maturity compared with the 12-year-old expression it builds upon.

The sherry influence adds weight and darker sweetness, but it does not push the Islay character into the background. Gentle smoke, a light salty edge, spice and wood all sit within the same frame, making the whisky feel layered rather than simply sweet.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Bowmore we would introduce to someone looking for a fuller style within the Sherry Oak range. Bottled at 43%, it remains approachable in strength while offering a more developed, mature and spice-led drinking (…)

Bunnahabhain 40y

Only 3 left in stock!

Bunnahabhain 40y is a Scottish Islay single malt where the age statement immediately defines the conversation. Forty years of maturation gives this whisky a composed, mature presence, while the available profile points to an Islay character built on nuance rather than sheer peat intensity.

With 1000 bottles released, this is not a broad everyday expression but a carefully limited bottling. Its interest lies in the patience behind it: a long-aged Bunnahabhain where fruit and spice are the main threads, supported more gently by wood, coastal salinity and peat.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky for those moments when the story of age, origin and restraint matters as much as the strength on the label. At 41.9% alcohol, the emphasis stays on (…)

Glenfiddich Fire & Cane Tube Incl.

Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is a Speyside single malt built around contrast. The name points towards that meeting of a gentle smoky element and a rum cask finish, rather than a whisky driven by heavy peat or pronounced oak. Bottled at 43% and without an age statement, it places clear emphasis on fruit and spice, with lighter wood, saline and peated touches in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Glenfiddich we would introduce to someone curious to see a different side of the distillery's single malt style. The rum finish gives it a distinctive direction, while the subtle smoky and savoury accents add extra definition without taking over the whisky.

Highland Park Cask Strength Batch 3 Incl. Box

Last one in stock!

Highland Park Cask Strength Batch 3 is a Scotch single malt from Orkney with a deliberately powerful presentation. Bottled at 64.1% ABV, it keeps close to its cask strength form, giving the whisky a more direct and concentrated feel than a gentler, heavily reduced release.

Sherry maturation shapes the background of this batch, with spice standing out as the main thread. Fruit sits in a lighter supporting role, alongside a modest touch of wood and peat. With no age statement on the label, the focus is less on years and more on the character of the batch itself.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Highland Park for drinkers who enjoy intensity and cask strength presentation, while still wanting a whisky where peat and oak remain part of the composition (…)

Highland Park Thorfinn

On request only

Highland Park Thorfinn is a Scottish single malt from Orkney, and that origin gives the whisky a clear sense of place from the start. As a no age statement release, it is presented more through its composition and character than through a number on the label.

Maturation in sherry and bourbon casks gives this Highland Park two complementary influences: a spiced core, with lighter touches of fruit, gentle wood and restrained peat smoke around it. The emphasis is clearly on spice, while the other elements support rather than dominate.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we place this bottle among the Highland Park selections for drinkers looking for an Orkney single malt with measured smoke, cask influence from sherry and bourbon, and a strength of 45.1%.

Talisker 18y

Temporarily sold out

Talisker 18y is a Scottish single malt from Skye where age and island character meet in a measured way. Eighteen years in oak casks gives the whisky time to develop, while its profile points clearly towards spice, saltiness and a controlled touch of peat.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, older island malts like this have a particular appeal because they show more than just origin; they also show maturity. Talisker 18y is not built around heavy smoke or dominant oak. Its interest lies in the way the salty and spicy sides take the lead, with fruit and wood playing a quieter supporting role.

Bottled at 45.8%, it has enough strength to carry its character without feeling driven purely by alcohol. This is a single malt for those who enjoy the maritime side of Scotch (…)
