Kornog 2012 10y Ex Libris Le Poids D'Un Nuage Tube Incl.

In stock

Kornog 2012 10y Ex Libris Le Poids D'Un Nuage is a French single malt whisky drawn from a single bourbon cask. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023, it carries a 10-year age statement and was released at cask strength, with an alcoholic strength of 58.5%.

Only 197 bottles were filled, so this is a very small-scale release rather than a regular expression. With the last bottles now in view, it has the kind of focused, limited appeal that fits naturally into the specialist whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans: one cask, one specific maturation, bottled with real strength.

Its profile is led by fruit and peat, supported by lighter touches of wood, spice, saltiness and a floral note. The title Le Poids D'Un Nuage adds a poetic tone to the bottle, but the (…)

Mars The Y.A #5 Incl. Box

Only 2 left in stock!

Mars The Y.A #5 is a Japanese blended malt with a very specific maturation story. It was matured entirely on Yakushima, an island set within a maritime ecosystem listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. That island setting is not just background information here; it is central to the whisky's identity.

Yakushima's subtropical microclimate brings mild winters, warm summers and very high humidity throughout the year. With annual evaporation estimated at 7 to 14%, the interaction between whisky and wood is accelerated in a striking way. The ocean nearby and the constant sea breeze add a subtle maritime, saline influence to the whisky's profile.

The blend combines distillates from Komagatake and Tsunuki, bringing together the elegance associated with Komagatake (…)

Kilchoman Family Collection Ex Bourbon 18y Incl. Box

In stock

Kilchoman Family Collection Ex Bourbon 18y presents a more mature side of Kilchoman. For this Islay single malt, eighteen years of ageing is an important milestone: the heavily peated malt still gives the whisky its unmistakable smoky foundation, but time in bourbon barrels has softened the edges and brought greater aromatic depth.

The interest here lies in the way the peat has settled into the whisky. It remains clear, yet more refined, sitting alongside ripe fruit, vanilla and a gentle toasted wood influence. It feels like a grown-up reading of the Kilchoman style rather than a forceful display of peat alone.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone who already appreciates Kilchoman and wants to see what longer (…)

Kilchoman Family Collection 14y Rockside Barley Incl. Box

In stock

Kilchoman Family Collection 14y Rockside Barley is a thoughtful expression of Islay single malt, built around the origin of the barley itself. Made with Rockside Barley grown and malted on site, it carries Kilchoman's field-to-glass idea in a very direct way, placing the raw material at the heart of the whisky.

The peat level is 20 ppm, so the smoke is present but handled with a more refined touch. Maturation in bourbon barrels supports that elegance, bringing freshness, vanilla and gentle cereal notes rather than pushing the whisky into a heavier style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Kilchoman we like to point out to customers who are curious about the distillery's more precise, terroir-focused side. With 14 years of maturation, Rockside (…)

Mars The Y.A #2 Incl. Box

In stock

Mars The Y.A #2 is a Japanese blended malt from Mars Maltage, bottled at 49%. With no age statement given, the focus shifts away from maturation numbers and towards the composition itself: how the malt character, fruit and peat come together in the glass.

Its profile is built around clearly present fruitiness and peat smoke, supported by lighter floral, woody, spicy and slightly salty accents. That gives the whisky a more layered direction than a simple fruit-led style, while still keeping the main impression easy to understand: fruit and smoke are the two defining elements here.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to customers looking for Japanese whisky with a little more edge. With only the last bottles remaining, Mars (…)

Elements Of Islay Bourbon Incl. Box

In stock

Elements Of Islay Bourbon is an Islay blended malt that puts style ahead of an age statement. Bottled at cask strength, 54.5%, it presents itself with a firm, direct presence rather than a softened or diluted expression.

The Bourbon Barrel reference sets the maturation context, but the identity remains clearly Islay. Peat is a pronounced part of the profile, with fruit playing an equally important role. Around that core sit lighter touches of salt, spice, wood and a subtle floral edge.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place with Islay whiskies that speak clearly and confidently: a robust blended malt for drinkers who enjoy peat and fruit with real strength behind them.

The flavour profile is built around a clear meeting (…)

Ardbeg Smokiverse - Ardbeg Day 2025

In stock

Ardbeg Smokiverse is the Ardbeg Day 2025 Limited Edition, an Islay single malt that stays firmly within Ardbeg's smoky territory while giving extra space to fruit and sweetness. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as one of those releases where the interest lies not just in the label, but in the way the distillery has approached the whisky itself.

For Smokiverse, Ardbeg experimented with high gravity mashing: more grain and less water in the mash tun. That creates a denser wort and enhances flavour-active acetate esters. The result is still unmistakably smoky, but with a more pronounced fruit-driven and sweet aromatic side.

Bottled at 48.3% and clear gold in the glass, this limited edition brings together Islay peat smoke, sweetness and a vivid fruity edge. (…)

Ardnamurchan Sauternes

On request only

Ardnamurchan Sauternes brings together two strong ideas in one Highland single malt: the sweetness of Sauternes cask influence and the coastal, smoky side of peated whisky. This AD/ Sauternes Cask Release was first matured in bourbon casks, then given a second maturation in Sauternes casks, with peat added to this edition for the first time.

That makes the whisky feel generous without becoming one-dimensional. The Sauternes side brings honeyed fruit and golden sweetness, while the peated distillate keeps a salty, smoky, maritime edge. Bottling at 50% and without chill filtration helps preserve the full texture described for this release.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like for its clear identity: a limited release of 8,460 bottles, (…)

Bowmore 1998 25y Awwif (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers) Tube Incl.

Only 3 left in stock!

Bowmore 1998 25y Awwif is a mature Islay single malt with a very clear identity: one distillation date, one bourbon barrel, one independent bottler and a total outturn of 280 bottles. Distilled on 9 September 1998 and bottled on 1 June 2024, it brings together 25 years of maturation in a tightly defined single cask release.

Alistair Walker selected this Bowmore for the Infrequent Flyers range, where the focus is on individual casks rather than broad, repeated house styles. Bottled at cask strength at 45.8%, it presents this particular bourbon barrel on its own terms.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this have a natural place among whiskies for customers who enjoy independent bottlings with a clear origin story. Bowmore, Islay, 25 years of age, single (…)

Compass Box Secrets Of Smoke (Compass Box Limited Edition)

On request only

Compass Box Secrets Of Smoke is built around a clever idea: peated whisky is not only about smoke. Beneath the sootier side, Compass Box looks for the sweeter signals that can sit in plain sight, with honeyed and fruity notes woven into the peat.

This Scottish blended malt is bottled at 52%, with natural colour and no chill filtration. That gives the whisky a full, direct presence, while the wine cask influence brings out the sweeter side of the malts rather than letting the smoke stand alone.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this limited Compass Box release stands out because of that particular angle. With 9,999 bottles produced and the final bottles now becoming scarce, Secrets Of Smoke is a peat-driven whisky with a noticeably fruitier, more indulgent story (…)

Kavalan The Peatist Bourbon Incl. Box

Last one in stock!

Kavalan The Peatist Bourbon brings a peated side of Taiwanese single malt into focus, with strength, clarity and a notably smooth presentation. The Peatist range is Kavalan's permanent exploration of peated whisky, built around premium peated malt and a distinctly Taiwanese take on aromatic intensity.

This Bourbon release is drawn from a single cask and bottled at cask strength, at 54%. Matured in American ex-bourbon casks, it shows the softer and more harmonious side of the Peatist style. The peat is clearly present, yet it is wrapped in vanilla, coconut cream, gentle spice and tropical fruit notes such as mango and banana.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Kavalan as a whisky for drinkers who enjoy peat with texture and fruit rather than sheer weight. (…)

Adelphi's Islay Malt 10y Batch 2 (Adelphi's Regional Range)

On request only

Adelphi's Islay Malt 10y Batch 2 brings together a distinctly maritime Islay spirit and the darker influence of Oloroso sherry casks. For this second batch, Adelphi returns to Caol Ila, described in the supplied information as one of the most consistent distilleries in the world, known here for a powerful, coastal and lightly meaty distillate.

The Oloroso casks add depth rather than disguise the whisky's Islay identity. Smoke, dark fruit and tannic structure sit side by side, giving this 10-year-old single malt a rich yet approachable feel. Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence to carry the peat and sherry influence without becoming overstated.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Islay bottling we like to introduce when someone wants more than peat (…)

Peated Malts Of Distinction (Ardmore Legacy, Connemara, Bowmore 12y & Laphroaig 10y) 4x5cl

Not available for shipping

Peated Malts Of Distinction is built around a simple but enjoyable idea: four 5 cl measures that let you explore peated malt whisky side by side. The set brings together Ardmore Legacy, Connemara, Bowmore 12y and Laphroaig 10y in a gift pack, making it more of a tasting journey than a single-bottle choice.

Peat is the main thread here, clearly present without standing alone. Around it sit lighter notes of fruit, spice, wood, floral touches and a salty edge, giving the set enough variation to make comparison genuinely worthwhile.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a thoughtful option for someone who enjoys discovering differences within a smoky whisky style, or for gifting a compact introduction to peated malts. With the last bottles now in stock, it is (…)

Caol Ila 25y Incl. Box

In stock

Caol Ila 25y shows a mature side of Islay single malt, shaped by long ageing rather than sheer force. Its profile is led by fruit and peat, while oak, spice and a light salty touch sit more quietly in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would introduce to someone who wants Caol Ila with age and composure. The oak cask maturation supports the whisky, but the supplied profile does not point towards a heavily wood-driven style.

Bottled at 43%, Caol Ila 25y keeps its strength measured. The interest lies in the combination of mature single malt, clear peat influence and a distinctly fruity core.

The flavour profile is mainly built around fruitiness and peat smoke. These two elements are clearly present and define (…)

Arran Peated 2014 10y (Adelphi)

In stock

Arran Peated 2014 10y shows a more smoky, forceful side of Arran while still keeping the soft touch of bourbon maturation close at hand. This single malt from the Isle of Arran matured in a first fill bourbon barrel, giving its peated island character a gentler vanilla-led counterpoint.

As a single cask release bottled at cask strength, 57.1%, it feels deliberately specific rather than broadly polished. Only 230 bottles were drawn from this cask, making it a focused snapshot of one barrel's development. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued because they let the cask speak clearly, without hiding the details that make it individual.

The peat is clearly present, supported by a malty core, a lightly salty edge and a long dry smoky finish. It (…)

Ledaig 2020 6 Year Old SV 100 Proof is a single malt from Mull, bottled by Signatory as part of the Signatory Vintage 100 Proof range. At 57.1%, it speaks in a clear, forceful voice, with the kind of directness that makes young independently bottled whisky so engaging.

The maturation combines sherry and bourbon casks, but the main thread remains unmistakably peated. Around that smoky core sit lighter touches of fruit, spice, oak, floral nuance and a salty edge. Rather than feeling cask-led, this Ledaig keeps the emphasis on its robust island malt character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottling for drinkers who enjoy a young single malt with energy and a defined smoky profile. With only the last bottles remaining, it also carries the fleeting (…)
