Highland Malt2000 21y (Campbeltown Whisky Company - Watt Whisky)
On request only
Highland Malt2000 21y is a Scottish single malt with an intentionally undisclosed origin. The name gives just enough to set the scene Highland, distilled in 2000, matured for 21 years while keeping the distillery out of focus. That makes the cask itself the centre of attention.
Bottled in 2022 by Campbeltown Whisky Company under the Watt Whisky label, this release comes from a single sherry hogshead and was filled at cask strength, 55.2% ABV. Only 308 bottles were produced, so it represents one particular cask rather than a broad house style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of whisky that rewards curiosity: mature Highland single malt, shaped by sherry wood, bottled without dilution and now down to the last bottles. The appeal lies in its (…)Talisker 30y 2022 Incl. Box

Talisker 30y 2022 Incl. Box

Talisker 30y 2022 shows the Skye single malt in a mature and concentrated form. Talisker is described as the oldest distillery on the island, part of island life since 1830, and this 30-year-old release brings forward the elements that define its identity: pepper, smoke and fruit, carried with the depth of long ageing.
The bottling celebrates the Cuillin mountain range, the summit of Skye. That reference suits the whisky well. It gives the impression of looking across the island from above, with maritime freshness, spice, gentle smoke and ripe fruit all coming through in a composed way. American Oak adds structure, wood spice and a softer vanilla note without taking attention away from the Talisker character.

Laphroaig 33y Ian Hunter Batch 3

Laphroaig 33y Ian Hunter Batch 3 presents an older, more limited side of this Islay single malt. Distilled in 1987 and matured for 33 years in refill bourbon casks, it places time and cask influence at the centre of the experience rather than relying on immediate impact alone.
Bottled at cask strength at 49.9%, Batch 3 was released in a run of 4800 bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see a whisky like this as a more contemplative Laphroaig: still rooted in Islay, yet shaped by long maturation and increasingly scarce now that only the last bottles remain.
The supplied flavour profile points towards clear wood and spice, supported by lighter fruity, salty and peated notes. That gives the whisky an Islay connection without presenting peat as the dominant (…)Port Askaig 25y New Incl. Box

Port Askaig 25y New Incl. Box
Temporarily sold out
Port Askaig 25 Year Old is an Islay single malt with real maturity behind it. This 25-year-old release is the second bottling in a series of older Port Askaig whiskies, ranging from 20 to 28 years. Each batch is limited, yet the range is designed so that a following release becomes available as stocks run low.
It has matured entirely in refill American oak hogsheads. That detail says a great deal about the style: the oak is present, but it does not dominate the whisky. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to present as a mature Islay whisky where time, cask restraint and layered development matter more than sheer force.
Bottled at 45.8%, it has enough structure to carry its age and island character. Smoke, gentle salinity, spice and (…)Yoichi Bourbon Finish

Yoichi Bourbon Finish

Yoichi Bourbon Finish is a Japanese single malt shaped around a bourbon cask finish. There is no age statement on the label, so the focus falls on the style of the release itself: a clearly present wood influence, supported by gentle spice, fruit, saline touches and a light peated edge.
At 46% alcohol, it has enough structure to carry that cask-driven character with clarity. The Bourbon Finish gives this Yoichi a defined place of its own, especially for drinkers who enjoy seeing how a particular finishing choice can steer the expression of a single malt.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this mainly as a limited and increasingly scarce release. With 2934 bottles produced, a collector's item indication and the final bottles remaining, it has the feel of a (…)Port Ellen 1979 32y 11th

Very last one in stock!
Port Ellen 1979 32y 11th is an Islay single malt with rarity written into its very structure. Distilled in 1979 and matured for 32 years, it is the kind of whisky that invites a slower, more considered introduction. With 2,988 bottles released and identified as a collector's item, this is not a routine bottling but a limited old single malt with a very clear sense of place and time.
The maturation in American and European oak gives the whisky a firm frame of wood and spice, while its Islay origin is reflected in a clear peated side and a light saline accent. Bottled at cask strength, 53.9%, it keeps its natural power rather than being softened down to a standard drinking strength.

Talisker Dark Storm 1l
On request only
Talisker Dark Storm 1l is a Scottish single malt from Skye, bottled at 45.8%. What gives this release its particular direction is the charred cask maturation, placing the emphasis on a darker, spicier side of Talisker rather than presenting it as a purely smoky whisky.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Talisker for drinkers who appreciate spice at the centre of the profile, with lighter notes of wood, fruit, saltiness and peat sitting around it. The character is clearly defined, but the available profile suggests several supporting layers rather than one single dominant impression.
The one-litre bottle gives it a more generous format than the standard 70 cl size. With only the last bottles remaining, Dark Storm also has a more temporary place in the (…)Ardmore 12y Macb (Elixir Distillers - Macbeth Series)

Ardmore 12y Macb belongs to Elixir Distillers' Macbeth Collection, a set of 42 Scottish whiskies named after characters from William Shakespeare's Macbeth. This Ardmore is presented as Seyton and appears in Act One, where the collection begins to unfold its theatrical cast of malts.
The whisky itself is a 12-year-old Highland single malt bottled at 52.5% cask strength. Its maturation in a mix of American and European oak casks that previously held Laphroaig whisky gives it a distinctly smoky, savoury and spicy direction. The peat is part of the personality here, supported by spice, a touch of fruit and a subtle wood influence.

Laphroaig 27y is a mature Islay single malt with a distinctly limited nature. Bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland as part of the Director's Special series, it shows a far older side of Laphroaig than most drinkers encounter regularly.
This release was matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled at 51.2%, with only 210 bottles produced. With the last bottles now in view, it occupies a special place at Drankenshop Broekmans for customers looking for an aged, small-release Islay whisky rather than a standard distillery bottling.
What makes it so engaging is the way the tasting notes move between tropical sweetness and dark smoke. Caol Ila 1979 Over 40y Artist #10 is an Islay single malt with a very focused identity: one hogshead cask, distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2020 by La Maison du Whisky as part of the Artist Edition. Rather than a broad house-style release, this is the story of one individual cask captured after more than four decades of maturation.
Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out for its combination of age, scarcity and bottling approach. Its profile is driven by spice, supported by light fruit, gentle wood influence, a subtle salty edge and a modest peated note. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as the kind of Scotch blend that has enough character to hold your attention without becoming heavy-handed.

Yamazaki Single Malt 2021 is a Japanese single malt with a notably limited, collectible appeal. It is a no-age-statement release bottled at 43%, so the focus is less on a declared age and more on the identity of this particular 2021 edition.
Mizunara Oak is the key detail here, giving the whisky a clearly wood-led direction. The available flavour profile supports that, placing wood at the centre while spice, fruit, salinity and a light peated touch remain more restrained. It reads as a whisky built around cask character rather than sheer intensity.

Drawn from a single Oloroso Sherry cask and bottled at cask strength, it comes across as a whisky with focus and presence.
