Bushmills 21y Incl. Box

Bushmills 21y is an Irish single malt where maturation carries much of the story. It spends 19 years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks before being transferred to ex-Madeira casks for more than two further years. That final period adds an important layer to a whisky already centred on fruit, malt and quiet spice.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Bushmills we would point out to someone interested in cask influence with elegance rather than force. The Madeira finish sits naturally alongside notes of dried fruit and raisins, while the malted aromas, subtle nuts and gentle wood presence keep the whisky composed.
Bottled at 40%, this 21-year-old single malt remains measured in style, yet it has the depth one would look for in a whisky of this age. Its (…)Teeling Single Grain Mini

Teeling Single Grain Mini

Teeling Single Grain Mini presents an Irish whiskey with a clear focus on fruit and a noticeable floral side. The product name points to a single grain style, giving it a different angle from a classic malt-led whiskey and placing the emphasis on aromatic brightness.
Its wine cask influence helps shape that profile: fruit sits at the centre, floral tones are clearly present, while wood and spice remain more restrained. With no age statement given, the attention stays on style, cask influence and immediate character.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this miniature is a pleasant way to explore Teeling in a smaller format, especially for drinkers looking for an Irish whiskey where fruit comes forward without any peated character.

Teeling Trinity is a neat miniature tasting set built around three different Teeling whiskeys: Single Grain, Small Batch and Single Malt. Each bottle contains 5 cl, making the pack a compact way to explore several sides of Teeling without opening full-size bottles.
The appeal here is comparison. Grain, batch and malt each bring their own angle to the table, while the 46% strength gives the set enough presence to feel like a proper tasting rather than a simple novelty gift.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of gift pack we like to present as a small tasting session in itself. Pour the three whiskeys side by side and the differences become part of the pleasure: a fruit-led profile, clear floral elements, and gentler touches of wood and spice across the (…)Teeling Single Malt Tube Incl.

Teeling Single Malt shows a distinctly expressive side of Irish single malt whiskey. Made from 100% malted barley, it brings together whiskeys of different ages, with the oldest distilled in 1991. That gives the whiskey a sense of maturity while keeping its fruit-driven freshness very much at the centre.
The defining element here is the use of five different cask types: Port, Madeira, Jerez, white Burgundy and Cabernet Sauvignon. Rather than giving one single wine-cask accent, they build a layered style with generous fruit, a floral lift, gentle spice and a restrained touch of wood. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Irish single malt we like to introduce when someone wants to explore how cask choice can shape a whiskey's personality.

Teeling Single Grain is an Irish whiskey with a character that immediately sets it apart. Irish single grain is not something you come across every day, and Teeling adds an extra layer of interest by maturing this whiskey in Californian Cabernet Sauvignon casks.
That wine cask influence brings the fruitier side of the whiskey forward. Rather than smoke or heavy oak, the emphasis is on freshness, ripe grape sweetness, gentle spice and a delicate touch of vanilla. The light floral side gives it lift, while the wood remains present in the background.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Teeling as a fine way to discover a different face of Irish whiskey. Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence to carry its flavour, while keeping the smooth, sweet grain character (…)Lowland 2013 13y Fanatical About Flavour (Douglas Laing Old Particular)

Lowland 2013 13y Fanatical About Flavour (Douglas Laing Old Particular)
On request only
Douglas Laing's Fanatical About Flavour series puts the whisky itself firmly in the spotlight. The distillery behind this Lowland single malt is intentionally kept undisclosed, so the conversation starts with flavour rather than reputation. That makes this release especially engaging: it asks to be approached on its own terms.
This Lowland 2013 spent thirteen years maturing and was given a finish in an Orange Wine Cask, an unusual choice in whisky. The supplied description links that cask style with candied citrus, stone fruit and gentle spice, and those elements sit naturally within the fresh, elegant Lowland setting. The emphasis is on fruit and floral lift, with oak and spice playing a more restrained supporting role.

Redbreast 21y Incl. Box

Redbreast 21y is an Irish Pure Pot Still whiskey where the age statement immediately matters, but not in a purely formal way. Twenty-one years in oak casks gives it maturity and presence, while the product information describes it with the telling phrase La Délicatesse.
The defining feature here is the pronounced xérès influence, set against a strongly fruity aromatic register. Notes such as kiwi and watermelon are joined by herbal and spicy accents, giving this 21-year-old Redbreast a generous, layered feel without turning it into a wood-driven whiskey. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who enjoy Irish whiskey with depth, age and a distinctly fruit-led personality.

Redbreast 15y
Temporarily sold out
Redbreast 15y is described by the brand as The Bold One, and that feels fitting for a 15-year-old Irish single pot still whiskey with a clear sense of personality. Made from equal parts malted and unmalted barley, it has the kind of structure that gives the style its distinctive presence.
The maturation is mainly in oloroso and American bourbon casks. Rather than making the oak the main subject, this release stays close to the Redbreast signature: fruit and spice form the backbone, with a noticeable floral side and a gentler wood influence in support.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a strong choice for anyone exploring Redbreast beyond the basics and looking for a more mature, expressive version of the house style. Bottled at 46%, it has enough (…)Hazelburn 10y

Hazelburn 10y
| 1 review
In stockHazelburn 10y presents a very particular side of Campbeltown single malt: unpeated, triple distilled and matured entirely in ex-Bourbon casks. Produced at Springbank distillery, it moves away from smoke and puts the emphasis on fruit, softness and clarity.
Ten years of ageing gives it substance without taking away its fresh, fruit-led nature. The ex-Bourbon cask influence adds gentle sweetness and roundness, supporting notes such as apple, pear, honey and vanilla rather than overwhelming them.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Hazelburn 10y is one of those Scottish whiskies that often comes up when customers want Campbeltown character in a cleaner, more fruit-driven style. Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence to feel serious, while keeping the charm of an unpeated, (…)Irish Single Malt 1990 28y (The Whisky Agency - Private Stock)

Irish Single Malt 1990 28y is a mature Irish single malt from Bushmills, bottled by The Whisky Agency as part of the Private Stock range. Distilled in 1990 and bottled in December 2018, it carries 28 years of maturation, placing it firmly among the more contemplative Irish malt releases.
Its appeal lies in how specific it is. This is a single cask bottling from one bourbon barrel, presented at cask strength at 47.3%. Rather than showing a broad house blend of multiple casks, it captures the personality of one individual barrel after almost three decades.

A Drop Of The Irish Ba is an Irish single malt whiskey bottled by Blackadder, shaped by maturation in an ex-Monymusk rum cask. That cask choice gives the whiskey a generous, expressive side, bringing forward ripe fruit, natural malt roundness and a warm, almost exotic accent.
Bottled at cask strength at 57.5%, it stays close to the personality of the individual cask. The rum influence does not take over; it adds softness, aromatic depth and a richer impression of brown sugar, ripe fruit and gentle spice.

The Irishman Single Malt is an Irish single malt with a distinctly personal signature. It is assembled from a small selection of American and Spanish oak casks, over 12 years old, hand-selected by Bernard Walsh himself. That gives the whiskey a more considered feel than a standard bottling: carefully chosen, limited in spirit, and presented with visible attention to detail.
Each bottle is numbered and individually signed, which underlines that sense of personal involvement. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of Irish whiskey that speaks quietly rather than loudly, relying on its cask selection, malt character and elegant presentation.

Arran 2014 11 Year Old is a notable return for Arran after years of absence. This unpeated Scotch single malt from the Isle of Arran brings together Oloroso Sherry richness and a fresh island character, giving the whisky depth without moving into a smoky style.
Drawn from a single cask, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 after 11 years of maturation, it represents one very specific cask rather than a broad house-style release. Only 318 bottles were produced, and at 57.6% cask strength it keeps its natural intensity firmly intact. Teaninich is not one of the most obvious Highland names, and that is part of the appeal here. The Pineau de Charente finish gives the whisky its fresh, slightly different angle. It brings out apple-like fruit, a floral lift and a gentle wine-rounded touch, while the wood influence stays relatively measured. The result is more about brightness and detail than weight.
