Ardbeg Anthology 13y

In stock

Ardbeg Anthology 13y is an Islay single malt built around a combination of bourbon and Sauternes casks. It stays close to the smoky, peated identity associated with Ardbeg, while the cask choice gives this 13-year-old release a more layered setting than a straightforward Islay bottling.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we place in conversation with customers who enjoy peat and spice, but also appreciate a release with a slightly different angle. Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its character clearly without being positioned as a cask strength whisky.

With only the last bottles remaining, this Anthology edition has become a more limited proposition. It is not just about rarity, though; the interest lies in the meeting of (…)

Croftenga 2017 5y Ww (Campbeltown Whisky Company)

In stock

Croftenga 2017 5y Ww is a Scottish Highland single malt associated with Loch Lomond. Its main appeal lies in its precision: this is a single cask whisky from one bourbon barrel, rather than a broader vatting. Distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2022, it captures a specific five-year maturation rather than a polished house-style blend of casks.

At 57.1% ABV, it is presented at cask strength, giving the whisky a firm and direct presence. The profile points towards clear peat and spice, with lighter fruity and salty touches in support. That combination makes it a more assertive young Highland malt, shaped by intensity rather than softness.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for their small-scale character and their sense of immediacy. With (…)

Black Bowmore 1995 25y Dlxop (Douglas Laing Extra Old Particular)

On request only

Black Bowmore 1995 25y Dlxop is a mature Islay single malt with a very clearly defined identity. It brings together Bowmore, Douglas Laing and the Extra Old Particular series in a release built around age, origin and limited availability.

Distilled on 1 May 1995, it spent 25 years maturing in a hogshead before being bottled at 46.9%. With only 302 bottles released, it has the feel of a whisky chosen for a specific moment rather than a standard expression.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are the kind we like to present with a little context: an older Scottish single malt from Islay, independently bottled by Douglas Laing, and marked as a collector's item. It is a bottle for someone who values provenance, maturity and scarcity in the glass.

Lagg Single Cask 2019 7y For The Nectar

In stock

Lagg Single Cask 2019 7y For The Nectar is a Scottish single malt with a very direct link to the early story of Lagg on the Isle of Arran. It was distilled in 2019, the year the distillery opened, and selected for the 20th anniversary of The Nectar. That gives this release a sense of place in time: an individual cask from the first chapter of the distillery.

Matured for 7 years in a refill hogshead and bottled at cask strength, 59.3%, it keeps the focus firmly on the spirit. The cask adds support rather than taking over, allowing Lagg's peated, fresh and fruity style to come through, together with the oily texture mentioned in the product story.

Only 228 bottles were drawn from this cask. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottling that is (…)

Longrow Red 2024

Very last one in stock!

Longrow Red 2024 is one of those annual Campbeltown releases that tends to draw attention as soon as it appears. This edition takes its direction from wine maturation: four years in bourbon casks followed by three years in Pinot Noir casks. It keeps the firmer, smoky Longrow identity intact, while adding a distinct red-fruited layer from the Pinot Noir influence.

Bottled at 57.1% and at cask strength, it is not a softened or overly polished style. The whisky carries weight, spice, fruit, smoke and a lightly coastal edge. At Drankenshop Broekmans, annual Longrow Red releases like this are always worth looking at closely, because each one shows the malt through a different cask lens.

Here, the Pinot Noir maturation brings tension rather than simple sweetness: (…)

Laphroaig 2001 20y Art11 (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

In stock

Laphroaig 2001 20y Art11 is an Islay single malt built around a very specific cask story: distilled in 2001, matured for 20 years in a single sherry butt, and bottled in 2021 by Signatory as part of the Artist Edition. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures the personality of one individual cask.

At 58.3% ABV, this is a cask strength release, so the whisky keeps its natural weight and directness. Only 590 bottles came from the cask, and with the last bottles now in play, the sense of limitation is very real without needing to be overstated.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the sort of bottle that adds depth to a specialist whisky selection: independent bottling, Islay origin, a named vintage, sherry butt maturation and two decades of age (…)

Bowmore 10y Devil's Casks Batch 2

Only 2 left in stock!

Bowmore 10y Devil's Casks Batch 2 is an Islay single malt with a deliberately bold identity. The name sets the mood immediately: a 10-year-old Bowmore bottled at cask strength, carrying 56.3% alcohol.

Sherry maturation is central to its style. The profile brings together clear peat, spice and fruit, with lighter wood influence and a subtle salty edge in support. It is a whisky where the sherry cask presence and the Islay origin sit close together, giving the release a darker, more forceful feel than a regular expression.

Limited to 6000 bottles and marked as a collector's item, Batch 2 has a special place among Bowmore releases. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a bottle for customers who are drawn to the combination of cask strength, sherry maturation (…)

Laphroaig 10y Cask Strength 2019 Batch11

Only 3 left in stock!

Laphroaig 10y Cask Strength 2019 Batch 11 shows the Islay single malt in a more forceful form. At 58.6% ABV, this 10-year-old release is built around intensity, with peat and spice taking the lead rather than a softened, rounded presentation.

The oak cask maturation gives the whisky its foundation, while the flavour direction remains firmly focused: smoky, spicy, lightly salty and supported by a modest fruit note. It is a bottling with a clear identity, especially for those who want Laphroaig with extra weight and presence.

Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, Batch 11 is the kind of release we place in front of customers who already know they enjoy a stronger Islay style. With the last bottles now available, this 2019 batch also carries a sense of (…)

Laphroaig 1996 25y Nectar (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland For The Nectar)

Laphroaig 1996 25y Nectar is a tightly focused Islay single malt: one cask, a long maturation, and a very small outturn. Distilled on 2 May 1996 and bottled in August 2021, it brings together 25 years of ageing with the unmistakably peated side of Laphroaig.

The release was bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland for The Nectar. It comes from a single bourbon barrel and was bottled at cask strength, at 50.9% ABV. With only 204 bottles drawn from the cask, this is not a general release but a sharply defined snapshot of one individual barrel.

Amrut Peated Port 2015 8y

In stock

Amrut Peated Port 2015 8y is an Indian single malt with a very direct identity: peated, port matured and bottled at cask strength. Distilled in June 2015 and bottled in July 2023, it carries an 8 year age statement and comes in at a full 60% ABV.

Its single cask nature is central to the appeal. With 486 bottles drawn from one cask, this is not a broad house-style release, but a focused snapshot of one maturation. The port cask element supports the fruit-driven side, while peat and spice give the whisky its more forceful edge.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that speaks to drinkers who enjoy single malt with impact and definition. It is powerful, limited in scope, and built around the tension between smoke, fruit and spice rather (…)

Port Charlotte 2002 #1195 (Rest & Be Thankful)

In stock

Port Charlotte 2002 #1195 is a sharply defined Islay single malt: one cask, one vintage, and a very small outturn. Bottled by Bruichladdich as a single cask release at natural cask strength, it comes in at 56.3% ABV, with only 220 bottles produced.

Its 19 years of maturation and Wine Matured cask background give the whisky its framework, though the profile is not driven by oak. The emphasis sits more clearly on peat, spice and a gentle coastal saltiness, with fruit playing a supporting role rather than taking the lead.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we value for its focus: cask #1195 captures one particular side of Port Charlotte rather than a broad, standard release. With only the last bottles remaining, its limited nature is very much (…)

Laphroaig 10y Sherry Finish

In stock

Laphroaig 10y Sherry Finish starts from a very recognisable Islay foundation: a 10-year-old Scottish single malt where peat and spice play a clear role. The sherry finish gives this release its own angle within the Laphroaig range, adding another layer without taking it away from its island identity.

Bottled at 48%, it has enough strength to carry that smoky, spiced character with confidence. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a fine choice for drinkers who enjoy the peated side of Islay and want to explore how a sherry finish shapes that profile.

Aged for 10 years, sherry matured and bottled at cask strength at 56.9%, it is built around impact rather than understatement. The name Devil's Casks gives a fair sense of the mood: bold, smoky and spicy in character.

As the first batch, limited to 6000 bottles, this release also carries clear collector interest. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a distinctive Bowmore for those who appreciate the meeting point between Islay peat, sherry maturation and natural cask-strength intensity.

Vintage Ardbeg 1975 Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Vintage Ardbeg 1975 is a Scottish single malt from Islay with one detail that immediately sets the tone: the 1975 vintage. That date gives the whisky a very particular frame of reference, linking it to a specific distillation year, maturation in oak cask and a bottling strength of 43%.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this is approached less as an everyday single malt and more as a piece of whisky history. Ardbeg, Islay, the 1975 vintage and its collector's item status all point to a release where origin, age of provenance and scarcity are central to its appeal.

With only the last bottles remaining, its limited nature becomes part of the story. For someone looking specifically for an older Ardbeg with a clear Islay identity, this is a bottle defined by (…)

Connemara Distillers Edition Tube Incl.

In stock

Connemara Distillers Edition is an Irish single malt with a clearly smoky and spicy direction. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it presents itself through style: peat, oak cask maturation and a flavour profile with real presence.

The oak cask influence supports the whiskey without making wood the whole story. Peated smoke and spice sit at the centre, with lighter touches of fruit and a subtle salty edge around them. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good choice for customers looking for an Irish single malt with more depth and smoky definition.

Bottled at 43%, Connemara Distillers Edition keeps a measured strength while still showing a distinct personality. Its appeal lies in that combination of Irish single malt character and a more (…)

Waterford Ballybannon 1.1 Peated

On request only

Waterford Ballybannon 1.1 Peated is an Irish single malt whiskey with peat smoke placed firmly at the centre of its identity. Bottled at 50%, it has a naturally assertive presence, built around smoke and spice rather than gentle sweetness or overt oak influence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this stands out as a Waterford release for drinkers curious about a more peated side of Irish single malt. The flavour profile points to clear peat and spice, supported by lighter fruity, floral and salty touches. Wood is not the dominant voice here, so the focus stays on the smoky, spicy line of the whiskey.

Bunnahbhain Feis Abhainn

In stock

Bunnahbhain Feis Abhainn is an Islay single malt with a more direct, full-strength presentation. Bottled at 50.8% and released at cask strength, it is not shaped around softness, but around a closer connection to the whisky as it comes from the cask.

With no age statement given, the focus shifts to character rather than maturation years. The supplied flavour profile points to a clearly fruity centre, supported by gentle spice, a salty edge and a light peated note. It carries an Islay identity, but the peat remains part of the composition rather than the whole message.

Bunnahabhain 40y

Only 3 left in stock!

Bunnahabhain 40y is a Scottish Islay single malt where the age statement immediately defines the conversation. Forty years of maturation gives this whisky a composed, mature presence, while the available profile points to an Islay character built on nuance rather than sheer peat intensity.

With 1000 bottles released, this is not a broad everyday expression but a carefully limited bottling. Its interest lies in the patience behind it: a long-aged Bunnahabhain where fruit and spice are the main threads, supported more gently by wood, coastal salinity and peat.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky for those moments when the story of age, origin and restraint matters as much as the strength on the label. At 41.9% alcohol, the emphasis stays on (…)

Caol Ila 25y Incl. Box

Caol Ila 25y shows a mature side of Islay single malt, shaped by long ageing rather than sheer force. Its profile is led by fruit and peat, while oak, spice and a light salty touch sit more quietly in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would introduce to someone who wants Caol Ila with age and composure. The oak cask maturation supports the whisky, but the supplied profile does not point towards a heavily wood-driven style.

Bottled at 43%, Caol Ila 25y keeps its strength measured. The interest lies in the combination of mature single malt, clear peat influence and a distinctly fruity core.

The flavour profile is mainly built around fruitiness and peat smoke. These two elements are clearly present and define (…)

Caol Ila 18y Incl. Box

Caol Ila 18y is a Scottish single malt from Islay where peat and maturity meet in a restrained, grown-up way. The Islay identity is clearly part of the whisky, yet the 18 years of ageing give it a calmer and more developed presence than a purely forceful peated style.

Matured in oak cask and bottled at 43%, it sits in a classic strength range while keeping the focus on its island character. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Caol Ila we would point to when someone wants a peated Islay single malt with a little more age, supported by gentle fruit, light spice and a salty accent.

Caisteal Chamuis Peated

On request only

Caisteal Chamuis Peated is a Scottish blended malt with a clear sense of direction: peat is central, supported by a pronounced spicy side. Bottled at 46% and released without an age statement, it is presented more through style and flavour character than through a specific maturation age.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits in the range as a smoky whisky with more going on than peat alone. The profile points to a clear combination of smoke and spice, with lighter fruity, floral and salty touches around it. Oak does not appear to be the main driver here, so the focus stays on peat, seasoning and fresher accents.

It is easy to understand why this Caisteal Chamuis Peated has found an audience among drinkers looking for a Scottish peated malt with a direct, (…)
