    Château Cantemerle 2022 is the grand vin of the estate in Macau, in the Haut-Médoc. As a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification, it carries a distinctly classical Bordeaux identity, shaped here by a warm, dry 2022 growing season in which careful vineyard work and deep-rooted vines helped bring in healthy fruit.

    Cabernet Sauvignon leads the blend, supported by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. That composition suits the château's gravel and silica-rich soils: Cabernet Sauvignon provides the structure and ageing potential, while the other varieties add fruit, roundness, freshness and spicy detail. The grapes were hand-harvested with selective sorting in the vineyard between 12 and 27 September.
