Château Capbern 2019 is a red wine from Saint-Estèphe in the Médoc, with Cabernet Sauvignon clearly setting the tone. The blend is 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, a higher Cabernet share than usual for Capbern, giving the wine the firm, structured presence associated with this appellation.
Château Capbern is connected to Château Calon Ségur, and the 2019 vintage was made with a careful, classic approach: hand harvesting, sorting tables, temperature-controlled stainless-steel fermentation and 18 months of maturation, with a significant proportion of new oak barriques. That maturation supports the ripe dark fruit with notes of spice, cedar, tobacco and a clear oak influence.

Chateau Capbern 2020 is a red Saint-Estèphe from Bordeaux with a clear cabernet sauvignon imprint. The blend is led by cabernet sauvignon, supported by merlot and small proportions of cabernet franc and petit verdot. That gives the wine its firm framework: dark fruit, spice and structure are very much at the centre of the style.
The estate has a long-standing historical and technical link with Château Calon Ségur, yet Chateau Capbern is its own wine, not a second wine. The grapes come from vineyards in Saint-Estèphe, planted on sandy gravel, clay gravel and limestone subsoil. After hand harvesting and selection, the wine is vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, then aged for 18 months in oak barriques, 60% of them new.

This red wine from the Médoc is led by Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and a small proportion of Petit Verdot completing the blend. The result is a wine with clear structure and definition, without feeling heavy.
Capbern has a close historical and technical connection with Château Calon Ségur. Its vineyards lie in the north-east of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, on soils of sand, gravel, clay and limestone. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected, followed by vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Château Capbern 2022 is a red Saint-Estèphe from the Médoc, made in a Bordeaux vintage noted for ripeness and concentration. The estate lies in the heart of Saint-Estèphe and has shared more than a century of history with Château Calon Ségur, under the same technical direction. The result is firmly rooted in the Left Bank style, with the depth and density associated with 2022.
Cabernet Sauvignon leads the blend, supported by a generous proportion of Merlot and small amounts of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The vines grow on sandy gravel, clay gravel and limestone soils. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, followed by around 18 months of maturation, with a significant share in new oak barriques.
