    Château Couhins-Lurton White 2021 is a dry white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan, from a property classified as Cru Classé de Graves. Its identity is shaped by a clear choice: this is the estate's main white wine, made from 100% sauvignon blanc, whereas white Bordeaux is often based on blends.

    The 2021 vintage had a rather eventful growing season, with spring rainfall, frost in early April, a moderate summer and then sunnier weather from late August onwards. Warm days and cool nights helped the grapes ripen while keeping the fresh, precise side of sauvignon blanc in focus.

    The grapes were hand-harvested in small crates and sorted before pressing. Fermentation took place in barriques, followed by 15 months of ageing, including 12 months in (…)
