    Chateau Peby Faugeres 2022 Demi is the half-bottle format of a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru from Bordeaux, released from a vintage with particular meaning for the estate. The 2022 vintage marks the 25th harvest of Château Péby Faugères, and the producer also created a special engraved bottle for this anniversary year.

    The wine is made entirely from Merlot, sourced from a compact 7.15-hectare vineyard on a south to south-east facing clay-limestone slope in Saint-Emilion. The vineyards are organically farmed, with Agriculture Biologique certification from the 2020 vintage and HVE level 3 certification as well.

    In the cellar, the wine saw a 30-day cuvaison in concrete vats, stainless steel vats and barriques used for integral vinification. It then (…)
