    Domaine Faiveley Batard Montrachet Grand Cru 2017 is a dry white Burgundy made from Chardonnay, coming from the Grand Cru appellation of Batard-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune, closely associated with Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet.

    Faiveley works on a very small scale here. The domaine owns around 0.35 hectare in Batard-Montrachet, with an eastern exposure and stony, ochre-coloured clay soils on a naturally draining slope. For the 2017 vintage, production is noted at around 1,500 bottles. In the Burgundy selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, that gives this bottle a naturally scarce character, especially now that only the last bottles remain.
