My account

How do I create an account?

On the Drankenshop Broekmans page, you can select  My account at the top right.
When you click on this, you will have 2 options from which to choose:

  • Select ‘Log in’ 
    if you have already created an account in the past.
    You may also choose to log in via Facebook.
  • Select ‘Register’
    if you are a private individual or a business customer and want to create an account.

If you want to  create an account choose what is applicable to you ‘Private’ or ‘Business’. After that,
you will need to complete the required fields and then click ‘Register me’.
Once this step has been completed, you will be logged in to our website and will be directed to the  
‘My account’ page.
You will also receive an email confirming your registration with Drankenshop Broekmans.  Through this link, you will be able to confirm your email address.

How can I change my account details?

You can only edit your ‘My account’ details  when you are logged in 

.

Where can I find  ‘My account’?            

  • You are not logged in yet:
    At the top right (to the left of the shopping basket), click on ‘My account’.
    This will take you to the page where you can log in using your email address and password.
    You will then automatically be taken to ‘My account’ .
  • You are already logged in:
    At the top right (to the left of the shopping basket), scroll over  ‘Hello name’. 
    A short overview appears in which you can click on ‘Personal details’
    When you do this, you will be redirected to ‘My account’ .

In ‘My account’, you will see an overview of your current details.

These details are divided into different sections:

  • Personal details
  • Log-in details
  • Invoice details
  • Log-in details

Are these incorrect?
Under each section of details, you can click on ‘Edit’ or on ‘My address book’.
Doing this will allow you to make changes to the details, step by step.
After you have made the necessary changes to your details, don't forget to click  ‘Save details’ at the bottom of the page. 
Your details will not be saved if you do not do this.

Where can I find my previous orders?

You can only consult your previous orders under ‘Orders’  when you are logged in .

Where can I find the ‘Orders’ page?     

  • You are not logged in yet:
    At the top right (to the left of the shopping basket), click on ‘My account’.
    This will take you to the page where you can log in using your email address and password.
    You will then automatically be taken to‘My account’ . 
    Then select  ‘Orders’ on the left in the drop-down menu.
  • You are already logged in:
    At the top right (to the left of the shopping basket), scroll over  ‘Hello name’. 
    A short overview will appear in which you can click on ‘Orders’.
    When you do this, you will be redirected to the ‘Orders’ page.

There you will see the complete overview of the order history of this account.

Is there a difference between a private and a business account?

On our website, you can place orders as a private individual or as a business .
What are the differences between an individual and a business?

  • Private individual:
    • Does not have a valid VAT number
    • Products are intended for personal use (sports, recreation...) 
  • Business: 
    • Does have a valid VAT number 
    • Products ordered are intended for professional use
I had a private account, but I now have a VAT number and would like to switch to a business account. Is this possible?

This is possible if you have a  valid VAT number.
You must be logged in to your private account in order to switch to a business account.
Your current data can be found under My account.

Where can I find the  ‘My account’page?

  • You are not logged in yet:
    At the top right (to the left of the shopping basket), click on ‘My account’.
    This will take you to the page where you can log in using your email address and password.
    You will then automatically be taken to ‘My account’ .
  • You are already logged in:
    At the top right (to the left of the shopping basket), scroll over  ‘Hello name’. 
    A short overview appears in which you can click on ‘Personal details’.
    When you do this,  you will be redirected to ‘My account’ . 
      • On this page, you will find ‘Personal details’.
        Currently, under ‘Personal details’, you will see indicated that the type of account you have is private .
      • You can change the account type by clicking on ‘Change personal details’ .
      • Under ‘Change account details’, you can change the customer type from ‘Private’ to ‘Business’.
      • Then enter the company name and VAT number .
      • Then save this information by clicking on ‘Save details’ at the bottom.
I have lost my invoice. Where can I find a copy?

Invoices of paid orders can be found under  ‘Orders’.
You can only consult your previous orders when you are logged in

Where can I find the ‘Orders’ page?   

  • You are not logged in yet:
    At the top right (to the left of the shopping basket), click on ‘Log in/Register’.
    This will take you to the page where you can log in using your email address and password.
    You will then automatically be taken to‘My account’ . There, you can select  ‘Orders’on the left from the drop-down menu.
  • You are already logged in:
    At the top right (to the left of the shopping basket), scroll over  ‘Hello name’
    A short overview appears in which you can click on ‘Orders’.

You will now see the complete overview of your previous orders.

To retrieve an invoice, click on the arrow pointing upwards. This can be found next to the status of your previous order.
The complete order you placed in the past will now become visible.
Under the details of this order you will find the ‘Download invoice button.
Clicking it will automatically open the invoice for the selected order.

I forgot my password!

Do you already have an account?
If you have forgotten the password for that account, click at the top right on ‘My account’.  (To the left of the shopping basket)

You will then be taken to the page where you can choose to log in or to register.
Under the log-in option, you can click ‘I forgot my password’.
Once you have done this, you can request a new password by entering your email address and confirming it.
When you click on ‘Request’,  further instructions will be sent by email to the email address provided.
