Chateau Latour 2011 Demi (37,5cl)
On request only
Château Latour 2011 Demi is the Grand Vin of Château Latour from Pauillac, offered here in a 37.5 cl half bottle. The format is smaller, but the wine is the same Grand Vin: a dry red Bordeaux from an estate classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification.
The 2011 blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and a small proportion of Petit Verdot. The grapes for the Grand Vin come from the oldest vines in l'Enclos, close to the Gironde, where gravel-rich soils lie over clay. That background gives the wine a clear Pauillac identity: structured, precise and shaped around dark fruit, freshness and firm yet refined tannins.
The growing season in 2011 was unusual, with a dry cold winter, a warm dry spring, a heat spike at (…)Chateau Latour 2013

Chateau Latour 2013
On request only
Château Latour 2013 is the Grand Vin of Château Latour, a dry red Bordeaux from Pauillac, drawn from the historic l'Enclos vineyard around the château near the Gironde estuary. This is the estate's principal wine, not Les Forts de Latour or Pauillac de Château Latour, and it carries the pedigree of a Premier Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification.
The blend in 2013 is emphatically Cabernet Sauvignon led: 95.3%, with 4.3% Merlot and 0.4% Petit Verdot. That dominance reflects its origin in the older vines of l'Enclos, including parcels such as Gravettes, Sarmentier and Pièce de Château. The Grand Vin accounted for 31.3% of production in this vintage, underlining the level of selection behind the final wine.

Les Forts de Latour 2012 is the second wine of Château Latour in Pauillac, offered here in a 37.5 cl half bottle. The smaller format does not change the wine's identity: this is a Left Bank red Bordeaux led by Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and a small proportion of Petit Verdot in the blend.
The name Les Forts de Latour has been used since 1966 and refers to a historic vineyard plot within Château Latour's Enclos. For this wine, the estate draws on several sources within its holdings, including the edges of the Enclos and parcels in classified Pauillac zones. Each lot is handled separately, with selection based on grape variety, vine age, parcel context, soil and ripeness.
The 2012 vintage saw a wet spring, a drier summer period and a harvest (…)Les Forts De Latour 2015

Les Forts De Latour 2015
On request only
Les Forts de Latour 2015 is a red Pauillac from Bordeaux with a very clear point of origin: Château Latour. It is the estate's second wine, made under this name since 1966, and its name comes from a historic plot within Latour's Enclos.
Its appeal lies in how closely it is treated to the Grand Vin in spirit. Château Latour applies the same care in the vineyard and cellar, while the main differences are found in the parcel selection and the proportion of new oak used during maturation. The fruit comes from the edges of the Enclos, from parcels that may in some selections be considered for the Grand Vin, and from other cru-classé areas of Pauillac.
The 2015 vintage is led by Cabernet Sauvignon at 63%, supported by a substantial 35.6% Merlot, (…)Les Forts De Latour 2016 Demi (37,5cl)

Les Forts De Latour 2016 Demi (37,5cl)

Les Forts de Latour 2016 in demi format is the same Pauillac wine and the same vintage, simply bottled as a 37.5 cl half bottle. It is a thoughtful size when you want to open a serious Bordeaux without committing to a full bottle.
Les Forts de Latour is the second wine of Château Latour, first released under this name in 1966. Its name comes from a historic plot within the Enclos of the estate. The 2016 blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and a very small proportion of Cabernet Franc. The fruit comes from several parts of the property, including the edges of the Enclos and long-held classified Pauillac parcels associated with Latour.
The appeal here lies in the way Château Latour treats this wine with the same care as the Grand (…)Les Forts De Latour 2017 Demi (37,5cl)

Les Forts De Latour 2017 Demi (37,5cl)

Les Forts de Latour 2017 is the second wine of Château Latour in Pauillac, offered here in the 37.5 cl half-bottle format. That demi size gives a very appealing way to approach the Latour style without opening a full bottle.
The wine has carried the name Les Forts de Latour since 1966. Its fruit comes from several parts of the estate, including the edges of the historic Enclos vineyard and parcels within the Cru Classé zones of Pauillac. In 2017, two parcels that could normally have been considered for the Grand Vin were included in Les Forts de Latour.
The 2017 vintage required careful selection. A cold, dry winter and frost episodes in Bordeaux were followed by a dry, moderately warm summer, with cool mornings and steady ripening. Château (…)Les Forts De Latour 2017 Magnum (1,5l)

Les Forts De Latour 2017 Magnum (1,5l)

Les Forts de Latour 2017 in magnum is a red Pauillac with the unmistakable background of Château Latour, while standing clearly as its own wine beside the Grand Vin. It is the estate's second wine, sourced from several parts of the property, including plots near the historic Enclos and other classified-growth areas in Pauillac. The 2017 blend is led by cabernet sauvignon, with a substantial share of merlot adding to the wine's distinct identity.
At Château Latour, the 2017 vintage is described in terms of precision, structure and freshness. A cold, dry winter was followed by a relatively dry, moderately warm summer, shaping wines built more on tension and definition than on overt ripeness. Les Forts de Latour is handled with the same care in vineyard and cellar (…)Les Forts De Latour 2018 Demi (37,5cl)

Les Forts De Latour 2018 Demi (37,5cl)

Les Forts de Latour 2018 is the second wine of Château Latour from Pauillac in Bordeaux. In this case, second wine should not be read as modest or simple: the château states that Les Forts is treated with the same care as the Grand Vin in both vineyard and cellar. The main differences lie in the origin of the grapes and the élevage, with 60% new oak used for the 2018 vintage.
The fruit comes from several parts of the estate, including plots on the edges of the Enclos and other cru classé sectors in Pauillac. Cabernet Sauvignon leads the blend, supported by Merlot and a small proportion of Petit Verdot. That gives the wine a clear Left Bank identity: dry, structured and centred on dark fruit, graphite-like notes and the depth associated with (…)
