Château Marjosse Rouge 2019 in magnum is a red Bordeaux with a clear sense of place and vintage. The estate is located in Tizac-de-Curton, in Entre-Deux-Mers, while the wine itself is bottled under the Bordeaux AOC. Marjosse is the personal estate of Pierre Lurton, giving this bottle an added layer of interest without taking it away from its approachable Bordeaux character.
The 2019 vintage is a dry red blend led by merlot, supported by cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and malbec. The grapes come from clay-limestone soils, with parcel selection and harvesting at optimum ripeness. Fermentation in temperature-controlled cement vats and maturation partly in 500-litre barrels and partly in concrete help explain the combination of ripe fruit, freshness and structure.

Chateau Marjosse Red 2020 is a French Bordeaux with a distinctly personal background. The estate is Pierre Lurton's own property in Tizac-de-Curton, in the Entre-deux-Mers area of Bordeaux. The 2020 blend is led by Merlot, supported by Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, giving the wine a clear Bordeaux identity.
The growing season brought a wet spring followed by an exceptionally warm, dry summer. That combination produced ripe grapes with notable concentration, while the winemaking at Marjosse focused on keeping that richness in balance with freshness. Parcel-by-parcel vinification, early morning harvesting and careful sorting all support that more precise approach.
In the cellar, the wine saw cold pre-fermentation maceration and was vinified (…)Chateau Marjosse Red 2020 Magnum (1,5l)

Chateau Marjosse Rouge 2020 Magnum is a red Bordeaux from France in a generous 1.5 litre bottle. It comes from Chateau Marjosse in Entre-deux-Mers, on the right bank near Tizac-de-Curton, and is linked to Pierre Lurton. The blend follows the classic Bordeaux line-up, led by merlot with cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and malbec in support.
The 2020 vintage had an early growing season: a wet spring, then a very warm and dry summer. That gave ripe, concentrated grapes, while the winemaking was kept deliberately controlled to retain freshness. The wine comes from clay-limestone soils, with parcel-by-parcel vinification and ageing in both barriques and concrete vats.

Chateau Marjosse Red 2021

Château Marjosse Rouge 2021 is a Bordeaux with a distinctly fresh, classic feel. It comes from Château Marjosse, Pierre Lurton's personal estate in Entre-Deux-Mers, and is produced as a Bordeaux AOC. Rather than leaning on weight or heavy extraction, the 2021 vintage shows a more precise, drinkable side of red Bordeaux.
The blend is led by merlot, supported by cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and a small proportion of malbec. The grapes come from clay-limestone soils, a setting that fits the wine's fresh and floral expression. The growing season in 2021 was cooler and more demanding, with harvest taking place later than in 2020, and that character comes through in the wine's brighter, more measured style.
The winemaking also points to refinement (…)Chateau Marjosse Red 2021 Magnum (1,5l)

Château Marjosse Rouge 2021 in magnum is a Bordeaux that speaks more through freshness and precision than sheer weight. It comes from Pierre Lurton's personal estate in Tizac-de-Curton, in the Entre-deux-Mers area on Bordeaux's right bank. The blend follows the classic red Bordeaux pattern, led by merlot and supported by cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and a small proportion of malbec.
The 2021 vintage in Bordeaux was cooler and later than warmer years, and that shows in the wine's more classical line. The emphasis is on bright fruit, definition and the expression of the individual grape varieties. Château Marjosse works parcel by parcel, with grapes from clay-limestone soils and vines described for this vintage as roughly 26 to 75 years old. Ageing takes (…)
